      My cousin (ol head) said the same thing! If we had black owned schools and black owned companies...they would cry racism and shut us down. If we were to say listen we are not being racist but we need our own space to be educated and employed ...white people will say racist and get it shut down .AND BUY UP OUR SCHOOLS AND COMPANIES TO BOOT

    • @buicklincoln
      @buicklincoln 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Detroit's black population already composes 85 percent. It already was "African". They don't need another useless label. It won't make the kids read more or stop killing each other or make the schools better.

    • @Jalafian
      @Jalafian 5 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      @@buicklincoln being 85 percent with hardly any business ownership is the reason why they wanted to start African town. To have a targeted area where there was a concentration of black business. Most of the business in the city is not owned by the residents, which means instead of the money circulating in the city it's going to everybody else's neighborhood. That will help the schools and the violence in the city unless you think black people are inherently violent or dumb. While in every community there is always a criminal element poverty and low income areas have more crime because desperate people do desperate things. If we have more ownership and entrepreneurs then more of us have a stake in the community. With mor of the money we're making staying in the community we continue to help each other like other communities with greater concentrations of wealth do.

Inflated property taxes, folks signing their homes over to beat court cases, now with the elderly just to have home health aide come assist them they have to sign the house over to the state, also now the government is trying to eliminate elderly people's mortgage BUT when they pass the house belongs to the state and the family can buy the house back at a newly appraised price but gma house was only 25k now we gotta pay 250k to keep it in the family. @@tonyaelem1674 it's 2019. There's absolutely no reason why we can't get ahead. Our community is lazy, does not want to graduate high school, go to tech school or college. Our young men would rather sell drugs & get rich quick. Glorifying drugs, materialism, promiscuity... Eventually landing in jail and helping to destroy the black family. No more excuses. The judicial system in my state has lowered the legalized adult age to 17 so if a kid is profiled on bs as a 17yo still in high school and guess what's hard to get with certain charges.... jobs, FAFSA for college, real estate, and so much more. Dont know your age but you sound like my aunt she's oblivious to reality of today. I'm not in a bad situation and thank God for his mercy on me but we as blacks are already 500 years behind from birth and just put any obstacle in that path and it only makes the goal of success even harder to obtain.

Not simply pointing out the known problem,those inclined to use the information would do so,one maintained problem,is the repeated failings within the community,that's very easy to do,on the other hand speaking into existents a few more possible millionaires can only happen through knowledge. Every one will not get to the 1% level but they can grow and develop wealth. But I noticed T.I. would not give his driver the chance to open the door for him he would just burst open the door and jump out every morning. I always thought that was some real shit and cool of him and maybe he didnt want everyone to feel like he was better than everyone else the fact that we were filming in the hood most of the time.

    The world of sports entertainment has gone so far that i could remember when the max a superstar made per year was no more than 12-15 mil in the lebum James era. It hurts my head when i hear all the high crazy numbers from 25- 50 mil per year being discussed. These guys came from living off food stamps and all i hear people like Stephen A say is "They need to seek the max and do what's best for themselves and their families. Do us regular black folks forget how much 1 million is, how much money do the players and their family need to live comfortable per year. To think how much money is going to these players, it's sad. Collectively all black pro athletes + movie stars, can join forces and really help many black families financially if they pool their resources together and own companies, build their own housing communities where blacks can elevate themselves from the projects, into decent housing and not being a slave to the democrat system of control. With all the crazy millions that these guys make, they can more than afford to pay down the rent or mortgage and petty bills of a low income neighborhood of their choosing for an entire year. It's time for us to wake up out of this mental slavery brain washing where it's always about what can i do for me, me, me or my little family making 40 mil per year. Focus on trying to build up the entire black communities on a whole by joining forces and build your own communities, business, charities for blacks and really do some good for the black race. No more excuses playing the race card when people like Lebum is almost a billionaire that can save an entire black community from rotting in the projects

    We've been whitewashed and a large majority of us have absolutely no idea what's happened and is happening to them. That's the difference between the A.D.O.S. people in America, and the Korean, Japanese, Chinese...etc.. they are connected to their culture, they know who they are and where they come from. A.D.O.S. people had all tht swiped away, thts the main reason it's so difficult 4 us to come together. Who are we, where you from brother, Chicago, Atlanta, LA? What's your family name, Johnson, Jackson, Smith? We had all tht taken away. So there's NO real knowledge of self, which is why we get caught up in random BS, thts contradictory to our good. And, for a large part we have no common causes. Hell they had a whole panel of brainwashed black faces speaking against reparations, before Congress. U don't see this degree of division and self hate in other races/groups of people. All to be a part of something tht you can never be, and never gain full respect, because you don't respect, who u are or the roots from which you came.... So, no logical thinking person ever true respect, anyone tht hates and has deep denial who they truly are. We come modern day conditioned slaves, without whips or chains, to a system tht refuses to acknowledge who we truly are and the riches the from the blood, sweat and tears of our African ancestors, tht experienced one of the most brutal slavery's in the history of European expansion throughout the planet...
