Oh yes! I love the singer's voice. This song really knocked me over in the day. It's just a great rocking and rolling song! It has a classic guitar riff and high level of pure rock energy. My favorite today guys!!
@@karenmandeville7116 Agreed. Aside from Keep Your Hands To Yourself I love Railroad Steel and also Nights Of Mystery and their cover of Every Picture Tells A Story (especially the way those last two blend from one to the other.
@@karenmandeville7116 Yeah, not forgetting it. It wasn’t one of my favs, but it does get a special mention because it got airplay as a single so they weren’t completely one hit wonders.
Hi You Two, One of the great Satallites songs is Battle Ship Chains sung by the Guitarist and one of the funniest is Ringo Starrs song Don't Pass Me By😎
No line dances. But all us here in Roswell, New Mexico, got up and danced in our high school dances. Great song! As a bassist, played this 1000 times in high school! 80's ruled!
LOVE this song -- it's so funny and so much fun! And yeah, the original video is actually pretty funny too, and not so distracting from the music. It's just great. Glad you liked it!
Stevie Ray's little brother, Jimmy Vaughn on the guitar!! He's fantastic! Got a chance to see him perform about 20 years ago. I was blown away by how great he was.
Jimmie Vaughan is 4 years older than Stevie, grew up in Oak Cliff, Texas, and started the Fabulous Thunderbirds. He tours and plays around Austin, where he lives, sometimes with Billy Gibbons of ZZ TOP. He was there and played last year when The City of Oak Cliff dedicated a statue to him and Stevie, and he opened for Eric Clapton on Texas dates on his last U.S. tour.
Over the past 40 years, I have probably played this tune a couple thousand times. Most times on guitar or bass, but sometimes on keys or drums. Played it out at a small country bar in Atlanta the weekend the album and video dropped. Most folks hadn't heard it yet, thought it was an original. Since then it's been a highly requested tune in country, rock, biker and, really, just about any bars you play live.
I saw them countless years ago at a little Bar in San Jose called " The Saddle Rack". It was so packed i would have thought if you passed out you wouldn't fall down. I lost much of my hearing for for 24 hours. At no time am I thinking these are bad things.Damn they were good.
Please react to this song with the video. That’s a must. The sound is a throwback to the 50’s infancy of rock and roll. Chuck Berry, Jerry Lee Lewis, Little Richard. ❤
I was first exposed to this song pre-2010, in high school. When the Razor flip phone came out, and everyone was sharing and collecting various ring tones. The intro/first verse to this song is one of many ring tones that I had obtained. I loved it, and eventually figured out who sang it years later, once I had access to the internet.
You should check out Dan Baird's "I Love You Period" from his solo album. I had the good fortune to hang out with Dan a few times back in the early 80's in Atlanta, he's a cool cat!
I love this song...... it's hits me like a classic, crunchy Rolling Stones track! Don;t miss the original video for this made when the song was first released!
How can you not like a song that has the "free milk and a cow" line in it. Why pay for the cow when you're getting the milk for free. Isn't it great how women describe themselves.
Seeing that Thriller album in the background - have you reacted to any songs from Toto? ..They were the back up band for that album. Their most recognizable hit was, Africa.
Now you gettin into some good southern rock & they had a follow up with Battleship Chains plus if you like his voice you should check out our home boy Jesse James Dupree & Jackyl from Georgia & he plays a chainsaw ✌💖☮
Got some southern rock !!! You should hit up Black Foot , Train Train, or highway song. Along with some Molly Hatchet, Marshall Tucker band, so many great groups in that area.
It'll be hard to keep your hands to yourself if you're near a student's wife I'd have to kindly oh stay at the arms Rachel's Cos I just like I'd just like I'd never enjoy you're a no I just oh she's yeah she is yeah
This was a big hit. You should see the video. It's not quite what Dee thinks but it is good. The ending is surprising. Have you checked out the Atlanta Rhythm Section. They an another good group out of Georgia. Try Spooky( a great cover), Doraville, Champaign Jam, Not Gonna Let It Bother Me Tonight andmany othet songs. Dee should like them a lot. They are not your typical southern band. Check them out.
Too bad y’all couldn’t check out the video….it’s a perfect “down south” rendition of a “shotgun wedding” in the south. Very funny & entertaining 🤘🏽😂🤘🏽
For sure - pure fun, southern style
I love this song. It has such a great ol southern rock vibe rock song
Oh yes! I love the singer's voice. This song really knocked me over in the day. It's just a great rocking and rolling song! It has a classic guitar riff and high level of pure rock energy. My favorite today guys!!
He's throwing in the yodeling. It's a country thang lol
Y’all should find the video of this
Hey glad you are still doing reactions. Always enjoy
Party track timeless i like them since they became famous back in the 80s
All through that album the snare drum hits like mortar shelling. It just doesn’t let up.

Hey I'm from the deep south.....deep south of England 🇬🇧....and I love this band .....yeeeehawwww
Dan Baird, lead singer from this band, put out a solo album called Love Songs For The Hearing Impaired. You can tell he has a sense of humour.
Great album. My trio on that one is "I Love You Period", "Knocked Up" & " Julie and Lucky"
Hi You Two, One of the great Satallites songs is Battle Ship Chains sung by the Guitarist and one of the funniest is Ringo Starrs song Don't Pass Me By😎
Perfect when paired up with "Paradise by the Dashboard Lights"!
Wish I had a dollar for every time I played this one in the bars. I'd at least have a few hundred to spend. I'm a drummer too.
No line dances. But all us here in Roswell, New Mexico, got up and danced in our high school dances. Great song! As a bassist, played this 1000 times in high school! 80's ruled!
I always pictured a big crowd dancing and partying by the end of this song.
Talk about a shotgun wedding 🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪
Love you guys so much. Glad you didn't quit! Great reaction. This song definitely should be on most playlists! lol
Awesome song
I was a kid when this was on MTV. I was pumped when the video came on. I just remember it’s dudes playing in the back of a pickup truck.
LOVE this song -- it's so funny and so much fun! And yeah, the original video is actually pretty funny too, and not so distracting from the music. It's just great. Glad you liked it!
Hippie hippie shake is groovy too!

No wonder it is so good!

At the time, this was appropriately called "boogie metal."
"Hippy Hippy Shake" was featured in the Tom Cruise movie "Cocktail."

I've always loved this song! It's funny and has a catchy tune. A lot of people don't like it though, and I don't understand why.
This is one of those perpetual motion 12-bar spiral staircase songs where the only direction is up.
This song is awesome . It reminded me of Alan Jackson . Country singer . I’m in love with you baby and I don’t even know your name””” hilarious
A little Chuck Berry vibe.
The whole album is 🔥.
There's not a thing wrong with a girl who has respect for herself. Make him prove you're what he actually wants, not just to get laid.
Meh
Yeah, I know, not the norm.
Agreed.. I have no desire or respect for females that are loose and have been with a lot of guys.
Respect yourself if you want to men to respect you.
this is fire

Wow, they really need to see the video, since they kinda described it to the letter.
Chod try listening to Ian Hunter and Mick Ronson - Once Bitten Twice Shy (1975 Promo stereo sound version)
This is my ringtone!! Fun reaction to this gem!
Battle Ship Chains is another great Georgia Satellites song
One every Saturday where I live
Faces (Rod Stewart's 1970's group) + Southern Rock = Georgia Satellites.

How can you not like a song that has the "free milk and a cow" line in it. Why pay for the cow when you're getting the milk for free. Isn't it great how women describe themselves.

This is a really great song and even though it's not the original, noone does this song better than Garth Brooks which is on a much faster pace.
You should think about the firm that was bad company and Led Zeppelin satisfaction guaranteed is the song

that song is based off the 12 bar blues
Wasn't this done back in the 1950s also? 🤔
You like it? C'mon over, we'll fry up some catfish and drink some Buds. My house is the one with the car up on blocks and the new bass boat.☮️
I guarantee you didn't visualize a group of country boys riding in the back of a pickup truck. While singing and playing their instruments.
The video for this shows a shotgun wedding along with an obviously pregnant bride.
Y’all should find the it’s hilarious
If Chuck Berry and Jerry Lee Lewis collaborated on a song,
Shotgun wedding guys
It's called yodeling I think
Willie Nelson white and Jennings blue eyed Tanks called a good hearted woman good hearted woman whalelly and
i can play this song my guitar
You really should have done the music video that is a little bit longer. At the wedding, she is pregnant. Sorry to spoil the ending.
Watch it live.././
It is dirty, but clean at the same time. How is this possible? We all know what its about.
This is country rock, and nothing else.
You need to hit up some country due to some moral haggard daddy Frank daddy Frank
George 3rd you talk too much Hey not talking about the wife either
