A 1990's archival compilation of courts in Delhi, including Tees Hazari court and the Delhi High Court, with lawyers in attire milling around the court premises, sitting at makeshift desks, in their chambers, reading newpapers, eating at the canteen and more... A Sikh lawyer carries files around with him. Another woman lawyer walks out reading papers in a file.
Many lawyers are in their black and white attire. Typists print out / type out papers for court submissions, in good old fashioned Indian court premises style, using manual typewriters with ribbons. Hear the clickety-clack of a typewriter at work, and the return of the printer head.
Lawyers sit around and discuss briefs with their clients. a man stamps papers with mutiple stamp pad chhapa stamp pads. Notary and court fee stamp papers are prepared and stamped.
The lower and middle/supper courts of Delhi. A lawyer is brought in under police escort. Witnesses come with a security detail. Lady lawyers work in their chambers. A Judge works in her court, with the clerk next to her. A lawyer holds a briefing with her clients.
