  • Join us on a lengthy walk around the village of Angmering in West Sussex.
Due to its cinematic nature, this video is best watched on a large screen such as a TV, to fully appreciate the visual detail and immersive aural experience we try to convey.

Our walk centres on the conservation area of the village and the historic buildings. Despite having walked around the village countless times, it is surprising how much ground there is to cover, so this was filmed over a couple of days.
We have deliberately excluded the large residential areas, and especially the (often controversial) recent and current building sites, of which there are too many.
If you look close enough, the heart of the village, and community, does still exist, though it can be often be difficult to see in our high-speed lives.
We hope you enjoyed watching as much as we enjoyed walking. If you did, please remember to click the thumbs up (like) button, and comment.

Thanks. Professional as always. I knew Angmering Village (not Angmering on Sea) when I was young. Loads of wonderful flint work. Thanks for the memory.

The conservation area shown in the walk is beautiful, but the village has been destroyed by the mass of new housing built over the past few years which now surrounds it.

Lovely peaceful video. I stayed here or in Rustington when a toddler- can never remember which one. I thought I might recall when ‘walking’ round but nothing resonated.( not surprisingly) Thanks

Ps. Wherever you go there is inappropriate building going on. I don’t know where all the builders are coming from or all the people who fill up the new estates. It’s a puzzle.

Agree, there a some areas that seem to be overdeveloped whilst brown-field sites are left to decay - presumably down to profitability.

The village is still as lovely as before but the mega housing around it is the let down

We agree, the village is lovely, but but the surrounding area has become a vast housing estate without the required infrastructure to support it. On the plus side, there is still a good community feel.

your video makes it seem so idiolic. it is a lovely place but so ruined by all the housing estates as others have said. Roads are inpassable and generally too many people!!

When we filmed early morning over the Easter weekend, the heart of the village was very quiet. Sadly, you are correct, and there are too many people in too small a space.
