How to Fish Walking Topwater Baits

I like how he talks about his rod length with his height. A lot of guys talk about 7 footers, 7ft 2’s, 7ft 4’s. But not everybody is 6ft plus. I’m 5’6” and even though I have some 7’ rods, some applications for me demand a shorter rod. You just don’t hear a lot pros talk about that.

Nathan R same here, I especially have that issue when trying to skip docks. I normally use a 7’ rod but a 6’6” rod helps a lot.

I'm a huge heddon fan as far as topwater walkers , love my spooks, have caught so many fish on them I refuse to use any other brand topwater walker, lol.
