As someone who runs a small food business (nowhere near as busy as yours), I respect the hell out of your videos! I can't believe you have time to film while running your shop! I think from time to time it would be so fun to film what I do as a business owner, but then I get swept up in the million of other things I have to do 🤣

@@BrookiBakeHousehello, I’m truly inspired with your videos. Many congrats. I’m only asking about hair caps…… do you or the staff have a rule about wearing them consistently?
not a legal req here in Australia. We wear them in our production kitchen where we are making bulk batches, but not in the retail bakery where we are mostly decorating cakes and icing cupcakes@@stephanieaddo2405
So excited about the TH-cam channel! I’m obsessed with your IG and TikTok, it’s so satisfying to watch. I feel weirdly proud to see you succeed so much! Congrats 🎉
I found your channel this morning! And you really motivated me to get up, do my morning routine, work, and also bake today (i am a newbie haha). I personally love watch daily bakeryowner videos, somehow it energizes to bake as well! thank you Brooki! Looking forward for your next day in a life video hehe, those cookiess looks super yummyy by the way 😋
Good Day! I’ve been following your channel for years now & I’m very glad to see you back on youtube & here to wish you abundance of success for your dream bakery. I know how you started with baking recipes from your kitchen & who can forget your vlogs, they were the loveliest. So so happy to see you growing & chasing your dreams & what you have always wished for. Much much love ❤️ take care always 🌸
As another chocolatier with a small business I’ve found an extremely cheap ‘price gun’ stickers is the fastest way to apply date stickers :) extremely small and easy to wash off and cheap. Those price guns never fail they are like $15usd and 20,000 sticker and 5 ink rolls are like $15 also. So much faster then our custom printed ones we used to use when we first opened ed our store. ❤
Omg it IS you! World of Wanderlust 🤩 Grew up following your travels in my teens, and it’s super cool to have found you once again in a super successful sweet adventure.
Wow, you're so inspiring! I remember those good old blogger days haha. I'd always wanted to be a blogger but I was too shy. I'm getting into baking now and I WILL have my own bakery in the future. I'm happy your bakery is doing so well. I'll be visiting soon :)

Incredibly happy and excited for you! Love your videos, as always. Would love to visit Brooki when I am in Brisbane this coming January! Sending all my love and best wishes from Singapore, for now 💕
Hey Brookie. I jave watched you day in my life every video so so many times and I am clearly obsessed and watch it every day again and again. Love from Pakistan. 🇵🇰 Its a humble request to add more cookie flavour recipes in your cookie masterclass. Thank you for inspiring us all. Love and best wishes for you and your business 💗
I don't know how to bake also I'm not a lover of cookies or cakes BUT seeing you move around your kitchen baking and doing something you love it's really cool and inspiring 🥰
8am is a bit late for a bakery to open. Most people need to be at work at 8 and they are likely going there to get stuff for a morning meeting. You would probably sell more if you opened earlier. I worked at a bakery for 4 years and I got there at midnight so by 6am we were set and ready to go with everything already baked.
I love watching your videos. I am still studying in collage put I want to start my own bakery bit when I watch the videos it makes me want it even more.❤❤❤❤
I always watch her videos and her treats look so good. The other day, I was going to order cookies, but after the total with the shipping, it was way too expensive only for 5-6 cookies. Unfortunately, it wasn't worth purchasing just to try.
Your brownies look very much like my “1943 Brownies” whose recipe this history nerd found in an old newspaper while researching WWII news reports. YUM!
🍪 🧁 👩🏻🍳 This was very interesting to watch. You work very hard but, also get to do what you love ! Such a blessing. I’m not a baker myself, but I am a Taurus 🤤. Lol 😆 Happy 🎄Holidays.♥️
It was always my dream to have my own bakery. My godfather owned to most famous bakery in my hometown. I own a library full of bakery books because it’s still fascinating me. Unfortunately my current job pays me too well and with age and health I feel that I will probably unable to fulfill my dream.
It's been a dream of mine to open a bakery one day, this behind the scenes channel you've made is very useful to people like me! Keep it up! I want to know everything there is to know about opening a bakery, from the boring details to the interesting ones! 😊
There is an Australian marshmallow shore that has this grid guillotine-looking device to divide their marshmallow. I didn't know the names but they keep popping up once in a while.
cookies and biscuits are two different products imo :) biscuits are more like tea biscuits you dip into a cup of tea that have a long shelf life, cookies for me are freshly made! I'd say in Australia we recognise the two are different products - hope this makes sense!
i’m british and we use biscuit and cookie for different products!! cookies are large, round and chewy vs biscuits that are usually quite small and crunchy. cookies also seem to have ingredients ingrained into them vs biscuits which are one overall flavour usually (if you get what i mean). cookies are also more frequently freshly baked and sold in fewer amounts where you would get a large packet of biscuits.
I much prefer European bakeries, where they actually bake bread, croissants, pastries, etc. not just cookies, cupcakes. Most American bakeries are actually cookie sotres😢.
Honest question: Do you ever feel any guilt at all about the product you're selling, since it is mostly sugar and refined flour, two of the worst products humans can ingest? Even if you're making a ton of money, you're contributing to the continuation of the terrible diet of Western society. I would have a hard time sleeping at night.
I think there are enough customers to where if each person just eats one box of treats a week then they will be okay. It’s not wrong to enjoy baked goods, but it needs to be done in moderation. And she shouldn’t have to monitor the diet of her customers. That is up to the individual.
Uh, no. If you do it for one you'll have to do it for all. Next thing customers are lining up at 6h00 while she is trying to prep. Opening and closing times are there for a reason. You wouldn't expect a large chain store to open an hour and a half early just for you, so why do you expect a small business like this to do it?
I disagree. She already gets up at 5 am. Should she get up at 4? 3? That isn't sustainable. Business owners generally work very hard and devote most of their time and effort to the work. If they don't set some limits, they will eventually burn out and fail. In my area, the bakeries that open at 6 or 7 are already running out of the best things by 9am. If I'm shopping at 10:30, I'd rather visit a bakery that opens a little later, for freshness and selection. If the food is quality and the local market supports more than one bakery, then there will be a place for every customer.
@@hfar_in_the_sky I don't think it's just the case for "this job". I think it applies to _any_ job. I don't have the capacity for repetition. After a year or so, I find anything I do mind numbing. I think it's adhd. I'm 52 and have slowed down a wee bit nowadays.

Instead of throwing away products, why don't you donate any leftovers to the homeless or shelter???
