Just to confirm this exact same sleeve fixed my gop 10.8v eventhough it wasn't listed separately on the Bosch parts website. Same sleeve from pmf also fits gop . Thanks for the video
Hi just completed a fix on mine it is quite easy to slide the connectors off the motor so you can separate the two halves making motor extraction easier, . Thanks for the info probably saved me a few bob .
I'm guessing would something similar to dismantle a worx 20v multitool. The lights work but no motor sound so I'm guessing a motor replacement required
Hello is that a modified/ updated collar ? If it is`nt perhaps bosch should make one....obviously a weakpoint in the design I have one of these seems to be okay at the momment.. i guess i need to order a few collars then :(
Hi Ultimate Handyman, I was removing tiles today with my Multi tool and it just stopped working. I checked and then changed the fuse, that was okay, so I'm totally in the dark with what could be wrong with it. Any ideas? It was working fine one minute then nothing. :(
Unfortunately no, the beast is over two years old and I haven't got the receipt.....My search of the internet suggests that Bosch DIY range multi tools have a tendency to just give up the ghost and stop working. I wouldn't know where to start with taking the thing apart and finding the problem so I think I will just take it on the chin and buy a better product next time. Thank you by the way for your videos on installing a new bathroom. I live in a 1930's house and very little work has been done on it over the years so it is a challenge. Your videos have helped me a great deal, thank you.
+Perma Allotmenteers I know a guy that had a similar problem, so he went and bought a brand new one and kept the receipt. He then took the old one back and claimed under the guarantee and sold the brand new one ( the cheek of some people ). You could try checking the switch. I have not done a video on a multi-tool but I have done a similar video on an angle grinder- th-cam.com/video/t3JX_kBZ89I/w-d-xo.html The Bosch Green multi-tools do not seem at all reliable, which is a shame as Bosch's motto used be something along the lines of "we would rather lose money than our reputation", or similar words! I'm glad the video have helped you ;-) Thanks for the comments ;-)
Carrefour in France are making expensive Grundig household appliances availabe with sticker coupons for a reduction in price, when I saw all the new cartons being unloaded, "Made in China" was marked...we are no longer assured that a top brand is what it used to be?
Yes, it's not a great idea. Some of Bosch's power tools have been designed really badly of late. One of Robert Bosch's quotes was "I would rather lose money than trust", it seems that the people running the company now, have forgotten this! Thanks for the comment 👍

Excellent video. What can one do if the blade nut will not change with the Allen key ?
Hex nut jammed. Can not open with Allen key. Can not change blade.
Nice fix, thanks for the upload 👍

Yes it will be similar.
I've never worked on Worx stuff, so I'm not sure how easy it s, or how available the parts are!

would some lubricating grease on it help to prevent excessive wear from the friction? as it looked dry.
I have a similar problem. The tools power seem to go low after a few seconds. I did the part replacement and now it goes well. thanks very much
Thanks for the comment
Awesome, mate. Thanks for sharing this.
Can you tell me the part number or give me a link where you bought the sleeve please? thanks.
HELLO I HAVE A TOOL EQUAL TO THIS BUT I STOPPED TO USE IT FOR A FEW YEARS AND NOW IT DOESN'T WORK, YOU KNOW IT CAN BE
It could be a few things, is the battery working?
If it is, then the saw could have a faulty switch or motor etc.
Thanks for the comment 👍
Looks like the Bosch "Green DIY version"?

Is it still under warranty?

What would you say the total assembly time is for this product?
Not long, I would imagine it would just be a few minutes.
I wonder what Bosch would have charged to fix it!
hi do you have a link for the part please
Part number 4 on this page - www.powertoolspares.com/bosch/multipurpose-tool-pmf-10-8-li.m/3603a01900/spares

Anyone ever tried using JB weld instead of another plastic piece?
🤔
Great explanation
Makes me wonder if it's not so much the place where it's made, but built in obsolescence. Purposely designed to fail.
VERY USEFUL VIDEO :)
Thank you
Awesome. Thank you :)

£6 postage!!!! did the queen deliver it herself rather than stick a picture of her head on !!!!
It sounds like a tuned scooter.
I would be better if that coupling was made of metal instead of plastic.
I'm not sure why they made it from plastic, metal would be a much better choice!
Thanks for the comment 👍
:)
Ridiculous design hinging on one small plastic component. Remind me not to buy one!!
