I have been trying to balance my Sony A7IV with a small lens without any success. Also tried the Sony RX0II, same situation. I was hoping to keep this gimbal, but it seems like it's going back to Amazon as a return.
I can NOT for the life of me get my Lumix GX85 to balance lens up. To get even close I have to put the plate all the way back, and attatch the plate to the camera in the backmost position. I really wish I knew what I was doing wrong
@LilRabbitMane During the balancing process you still only have a small window before the camera falls either direction. You just need to get it to where it holds then lock it down.
Lol, last step.. right or left heavy, it looks everything is fine, but u do weird balancing, i am sending this thing back cause you cant do propper balancing video
I can't get this to work at all. Followed this video exactly "Error 03". Follow it again ,, "Error 03". Try with my phone instead, "Error 03". I give up, i'm returning it.

I was able to balance my Fuji X-H2 pretty easily on the first try with an 18-50mm lens fully extended. What axis gave you the most trouble?
Im struggling even with an iphone mount! I gave up after an hour of stuffing around with it.
@@frankmat Which axis were you struggling with?
finally managed to figure it out next time around... with a different instructional video.@@Rholmes2010
Watch the video and check the weight the problem I have in portrait mode sony A7 iii ICP mode can't turn the camera.
im not sure what's worse the narrators voice or this video
Make sure the first thing you balance (tilt axis), the camera lens is pointed UP, not forward.

Apparently error 3 is incorrect balancing.

That means it’s not balanced correctly keep trying to balance the camera/phone on the gimbal. I had this same problem until I got good with balancing
Why the annoying music?
This company is out of touch with reality.
