Have taken cues from the vertical operations in Thailand, Bangladesh & one company from Myanmar (Aung Moe Khine). The companies there have positioned themselves well. India is in need for farmer entrepreneurs (not just farmers) to make this model successful. What's also best is that since the supply is limited, the control will be in the hands of the farming community (you can logically ask for the price when negotiating with an already established exporter). I have done crab culture and did few experiments....a) firstly though income is good as explained in this video...when done on an large scale it's not practically possiable to monitor all boxes. B) feeding is another challenge....for fattening procrrss we need to feed twice a day...you can't expect Labour to bend down daily and aim directly into hole and feed each crab twice a day.... c) again I explained about summer issues....d) few more but can't express ...so guys think twice before investing... I came out with best solution for crab fattening addressing all issues above ...am currently doing pilot test, hopefully it should be an success scenario....lets c
