I just wanted to say it’s 2023 and this video helped us. Thought we were doomed and we keep the USB near the TV and whenever it acts up we just pop it in. Thanks brother
Thank you! A few things I thought were worth calling out: 1. Use a Windows machine to set up the USB - my Mac wouldn't recognize it as an .img file the same as the Windows machine did. 2. After you download the .zip file from www.sharpusa.com/Support.aspx, extract it to the newly formatted USB and make sure it is the ONLY file on it 3. When I finished extracting to the USB, the file type will show as 'install.img_secure_v3.6' or something similar. I had to rename the file to read exactly like 'install.img' before it would be seen as an image file, which is what the TV needs it to be. Hopefully this helps someone else.

@Adrian Dunevein Hey, yeah if you still have the file could I have it please. I'm dealing with this problem now
Thank you! Great tutorial and fixed my issue right away; longest part was waiting for Sharp to email me the firmware since it’s not on their website anymore. I also changed the file name to install.img like others mentioned and formatted the USB to FAT32.. it installed successfully on the first try; thanks again!!
Great news 👏 👍 🙌 you are welcome

Just watched one of your videos. I have a sharp tv 55 in Aquos lc-55p6000u. Purchased two yrs ago. What I've been getting in the past week is a blue loading circle. Like a buffering screen that overlays the homescreen. Remote will not respond nor will the controls on the unit. Reset button don't respond. I think your vid gives me the best idea since trying to get repair. Hit me with some feedback if you've run into this problem. And I need the link to sharp support
Look at pinned post and it will lead you to a few ways to get exact firmware for your model. I have no doubt it will fix your issue.
Quick question. I did this but the green bars load thorugh twice and on the third time, the green bars freeze/stop halfway through the loadd process. Is that common?
I never heard this 🤔. I would delete and reload everything . Let me know what happens
@@juliopadilla1222 I downloaded the wrong one, for different model #. I found mine and the TV is up and running! Thank for theh help!
Do you still have the firmware zip file? All the links in the comments are either not working or for my model. I will really appreciate it if you could post maybe a google doc for the firmware of LC-5n7004u. Thank you
Hello friend, mine is 60" Sharp Aquos smart tv LC-60C6600U.
Boothing stuck at the SHARP LOGO.
I tried the procedure with this method, and it didn't work.
(When I in-set the flash drive and plug in the power cord, it does not booth itself.)
Can anyone help me find firmware for 65n7004u? Is my best bet to call Sharp support? I cant find it at their support website. Thanks in advance.
Just had the same problem! And it worked perfectly thank you for sharing this !
Can you please, please provide the exact path to locating the firmware files
I have sharp aquos 2T-C50AE1X. How to hard reset if it has only power button? No channel or volume button or not even input button. And may you have firmware link to my model?
So my sharp is doing the logo loop. Do i need to replace the mother board
Same. Loops logo about 3 times then off
I had high hopes, but it didn't work for me. I put the USB in and it didn't do anything. Thanks for your help and I'm glad it worked for everyone else.
Done any work on the 70's with the same issue? Dig your style. Thanks
Hey I just did this with my TV after going through every other method. Everything seemed to be fine, I found my model on sharps website, and booted it up using a 1GB flash drive which initiated the Firmware install sequence. But after it's done installing the firmware it gets stuck on the sharp logo again... I have no Idea what to do anymore.
Thank you, Julio! got a call today ( Xmas Eve ) from a friend in a panic because his TV had this problem. This solution worked! 👍

great video, thx! question - Sharp Aquos 70C6500U bought 2013. acted up a few days ago, sound out first, then weird color pattern flashed on screen tv would go out. later it would work, then started going out more often to the point now we only get the Sharp logo screen which then goes out after a bit. Power light blinks 3 fast, 1 slow! watch videos, possibly power board, service manual say main board (communication). Doesn't seem to have firmware update for tv, only serial #'s starting with 4, ours doesn't. Any ideas/advise?
I would change motherboard and call sharp and have them send you firmware update via drop box. Then try my tutorial. I think it will work like a charm. Let me know
@@juliopadilla1222 thx! already called Sharp, they said no update for our tv, update are from 2014 and up! Our tv is 2013. Hate to change main board if it's the power board. I know service manual says "main", but several youtube vids indicate power board
@@davidaustin4579 you have power to tv it's not power board.
@@juliopadilla1222 Thx for responding! According to Sharp service manual the 3 slow 1 fast power light blinks mean a communication issue with the main board, if not what then? Issue is in the initial post.
When I looked at my tv model it says archived along side it is that going to not work now because of it?
Hey bro, I have Sarp lc43cfg6352e, for the Polish market, can't find drivers. Can you help?

Sorry for late reply but it sounds like the USB key is not for.attrd in my opinion. Try refor.atting and try again. Good luck

Hello refer to the pinned post here . It gives you multiple ways to find firmware. U could also call Sharpe and have them email you the firmware. Good luck 👍
I just so happened to buy this exact model today as a secondary for a bedroom. It doesn't do this stuck logo (yet) and hopefully it never will but I'm going to get the flash ready for when it does. Hey man I have lc-52sb55u, the green light flash TV won't come on I unplug it hold the volume button down and input TV cuts on and then cuts off, replace the power board and the LCD converter I'm sinking money in it do you think it's the t-con board or the main board
When it turns on the picture comes on for like a Split Second
Mr Padilla do It is very hard to get firmware is it any way we can get a copy of it from you? I love my tv and want save it
Unfortunately all firmwares are different. Look at the pinned post someone posted where and how to find it. Sharp is trying to make these tvs end of service at this point so its difficult.
Hey there, I have a similar issue with a sharp lc-65n7004u. Tv turns on light flashes 4-5 times then shuts down. Do you think it might be a software issue?
Thanks in advance
Hi this sounds like a software update will do it. If you have a had a recent power outage or eliteical.short of some sort it will cause the issue. Good luck 👍
@@juliopadilla1222 I did notice the sharp logo (the S part is slightly more dim...) you think maybe the led strips need replacement?
Thank you for the quick reply
@user-ol6wn8iw8w yeah , it's a cheap fix as well so won't hurt to change them if you think they are out.

What do I do if I forgot to format the flash drive? I put it in the tv and it started the process with ‘please do not turn off the power’ and won’t go any further. Can I take out the flash drive, format it and try again? I’m currently afraid of turning off the tv
Yes I would unplug tv then take out
