@@Jacket-Miami1989 for real lmao once i beat it once and got all the stars i was able to do it again pretty easily I think… its been a while ago now lmao if you have the Cat Mario amiibo, use it. You wont even need the other two abilities, everything dies when you touch it :D
I think I’ve played this level 400 times and I can’t get past the part after the second star.
Yeah that annoying part. For some reason Rosalina doesn't jump high enough & I need her because if you get hit with her she can swing attack her without any power ups.
@@tonyp9313 I usually play as peach bc of her float ability but rosalina is a good one too!

After months of trying I've finally beat this level with all five characters!
400+ deaths later, I’ve learned to be happy enough with my life to understand that I’ll never beat this level and will one day die with this gaping unfulfilled game hanging over my head, and that’s ok. It’s ok… it’s.. ok
Same here. I've probably gone through 500 lives trying this, and cannot do it. I've had to stop 3 or 4 times to go collect more coins, to get more lives, and I'm finally just giving up. I don't have any more patience to deal with this level. Whoever designed this level needs to get punched in the face.

Several controllers
Get the tanooki leaf and the bronze cat bell. Also save when you get these so if you die you can just reset the game and not have to get everything again.
This game is so poorly made. The majority of the levels are not hard because of good level design but because input lag, slippery movement of the character and literally impossibile sections. Some levels cannot be beaten with certain characters unless you carry with you special items from previous worlds or you use more than one controller. Not considering the extremely poor choice of forcing you to play all the levels with all characters just to obtain 4 stamps. That s just messed up. This was one of the mario games i disliked the most and i almost gave up completing it just because of the nonsense frustration and boredom that the developers force you to go through. Imo this game s not worth its price and is one of the few mario game i rate 5/10

@@yalalz mario sunshine is also full of issues BUT not at the level that mario 3d world does and you gotta consider the year sunshine was developed and the device you were playing it with. For the time and standards of those years, you can close an eye on some of its problems. A thing that you cant do with 3d world. As i said you cant force people to replay every single level 4 times at least (not considering stars, stamps and flag poles) just to get 4 extra stamps. And you cannot make a super long level full of half difficult parts without checkpoints just to make it feel difficult. This way you force repetitiveness, frustration, and boredom. You cant make me repeat 20 stages of a 25stages level just to make me retry beat the 21st. Just like you cant put a stamp in a level for which you need to have a powerup only obtainable in a world before or by luck in the toad house. And lastly, you cant put a star hidden in a crack for which you have to stomp on it to obtain. That just doesnt make any sense, especially if this game mechanic is nowhere to be seen if not in that single level. That s just poor level design and 3d world is half made of this crap.

A lot of practice & many a lot of luck. I beat this on the Wii U. Now I can't beat this on the switch. I don't know why they made such an impossible level. That & you can't use the white Tanooki suit.

I went from 60 lives to zero and haven’t reached the first green star
fun fact theres a unlimited lives cheat in world 1-2 grab a koopa shell and put it in the doorway when you first enter the game and just hop ontop of it as your mini self youll get as many lives as possible instantly

Been at this level for 9 years and here I am still struggling with the climbing controls on the ants and Piranha plants lol
edit: I made it past for the first time and then died immediately afterwards as I got stuck on the pipe in the water and wouldn't go down
edit 23 hours later: I beat the game after finding a helpful video that uses items lol

HUGE TIP!!! Have two tanooki leaves on you. One you’ll wear already and the other on standby. I recommend playing as Peach because she can float even though you already have a floating ability as a tanooki but whatever. Then you play and every time you fall or die, just remove the little game cartridge and put it back in so you don’t have to risk losing lives and trying to regain the tanooki leaves. It’ll respawn you back to when you collect the tanooki leaves the first time. I get my leaves from World 3-7. There might be a better level to get the leaves that is closer to World 👑-👑 but idk

I can pass only using tanuki leaf for every character, and it helps a lot cause it can float for 2-5 second.
Honestly, this area is very tricky, you must need to be patient and lucky

This level is insane
The part with the water is maybe the part that I will lose the most lives because in super Mario odyssey in mushroom kingdom there’s a well inside of the well there’s a 2d section were I died about 50 time just to get the normal moon and the secret moon which took about 100 more deaths it took about 1 to 3 hours

Once you beat every level with all five characters each you unlock those last stamps they're missing here.
I beat it after 20 ish full deaths (I lost all lives) talk about a lost 4 hours
