I hope whoever designed the invisibility section of this stage stubs their toe on invisible objects every day for the rest of their life.
This tip will help. Put a post-it note where Mario stands in the middle of the screen, when moving to the right Mario will stay in the same center area. ( This is someone else's idea ) but I put one where Mario is and one at the top of the screen that way I could always know where Mario was. I held the run and jump buttons continuously while panning to the right with the joy stick.
With the Bloops when the pink one is blowing up run and jump right around the time it has its fourth pump, it will blow off the wall with the fifth pump but you need to be in the air by the fourth to land on the Bloop. Then unlike most videos that show beating the level I only jumped on the Pink one twice and only jumped on two of the green ones. Remember to keep holding run and jump. The whole time be very careful not to tap down or you may ground pound where you didn't want to. I found its better to move aggressively through the Bloop section, try not to twirl on the last green Bloop you jump on and just keep holding the run and jump button it should give you enough momentum to make it to the right platform.
Before when I followed the videos exactly I kept coming up short and just missing the right platform and saw myself slowly slide down the wall to my death. Keeping the momentum going helped me clear the distance to make it to the end. All the sections before the Bloops you can just pace yourself and take your time. Just pay attention to when you hot the bumpy rubber thing and then twirl in the air to see your position. If you are on a flat rubber thing you don't have to hold left or right and you'll keep bouncing there for a long time, you can use this to rest and plan your next move.
skill issue
jk this level took me and the boys over 200 lives 😂🤙🏼💀

@@meatinurmouth64lol
This thing wasn't a test of skill.
It was a test of SANITY.
I definitely lost mine
@@LadyNoir-bt9uy My condolences.
I was seriously considering just eating the game if I kept losing
@@Gemidori Would probably go good with a side of fries.
I made it. I hear voices that aren’t there now. I still consider it a win.
My condolences to the people who made it to the end and missed the flag top! (Yes I had to do the level twice)
thank you. I nearly lost my shit when that happened to me
5 times...
Am done for real :c
I knew it was gonna happen i just accepted it 😔 atleast I know I have enough skill to get through it
I did that too. 😂 it seemed harder knowing that’s all I had to do. If I beat it, I may still fail.
Easiest way to beat the Invisible Section is to emote to see where your character is. You can’t press any buttons though while you emote so do it while jumping.
Nice to see you here Lex
You sir, are a legend. Thanks!
LEX!!!!!!
The camera follows mario so if u just visualize him in the middle of the screen it's alot easier to hit the balloons
Thank you!
The spring jump part made me rethink my life choices
I kept a power up for that part and cheesed through it taking 2 damage. No regrets
@@integrantedavidanoturna reading this comment makes me wish I would've waited to use my power-up for that part. I wouldn't have felt like throwing my switch out the window if I did that.
The reason I am here is to figure out how to get past the spring part, can't get the timing done and my thumb is getting sore from breezing thru the crouch and wall jump sections
Here's a tip for the spring jump section for anyone else struggling on it. For the last part of it, you do not have to land on the second-to-last platform. You could actually bypass it and land directly on the last narrow platform. You may have to spam the midair spin, but it is possible! That way, you'll only have to time the fire bar for one platform instead of two.
I used Yoshi at first but then cleared it a second time as Luigi for reasons that involve it being impossible for Yoshi to lose in the dolphin kick section
Bro the invisibility section was eating me alive 🤣😭 really wish they put a checkpoint right there bc going back and doing 3 rooms before the invisibility made dying so much worse 😭😭😭
I think what makes it worse but funny is that if yoy keep messing up, you start to make rookie mistakes such as failing to jump on time during the jet run or something that makes you keep on messing up more and more, just because you get anxious since you know how to do it. I kept messing up during the grappling vine section even though I had done it perfectly before, but man this level is brutal, I'm so glad I did not fail to get the top of the flagpole that was my biggest fear after passing the invisiblity section lol
@@eduardoalonso701 I had such a hard time on the jet run level. 30 years of playing Mario games it's really had to get used to running off the cliff then waiting a second before jumping. It’s just unnatural
@@eduardoalonso701that exactly happened to me. I was so frustrated on why I suddenly kept messing up at the sections I previously completed with ease.
They saved the invisible section for last for a reason. They wanted players to really be on their toes or else, back to the jet boots section. They knew what they were doing. But yea, that invisible section is such a pain. At least I finally got past it.
@@MrDarksword123 i only had a chance to retry it for like a hour yesterday but playing as yoshi kinda helps with his floating ability he starts sweating and you can get more of a idea where hes at. I keep dying at the green inflatable things. Ill get it eventually
I never want to experience anything like that in a game again
For the Badge Marathon, I turned on a 2nd character, which rode on the back of my main character, Yoshi. Yoshi can't take damage and has the mid-air flutter. Since the 2nd character is on his back, Yoshi has the crown icon above his head, which solves the invisibility issue in the last section.
This is genius.
Thank you so much I finally beat it that way!!!
Yoshis make everything better.
I loved this level. Apart from the spring section, that was a complete monstrosity and made me so miserable
I honestly got through that part on my 2nd try, it was just the stupid invisible section at the end that kept destroying me. I could get there flawlessly and I would die over and over and over on the jumpy balloon part right before the end of the stage and it was driving me nuts. I got through it by pure luck after playing this level over and over for like an hour.
The invisible part is by far the most annoying. At least with the spring section you can have a power up in reserves. So if you get hit you can use the invincibility buffer to your advantage to rush through. Not with the invisible part though. They saved that one for last so if you die, you have to do the same 3 sections again and again.
The invisibility section is absolute bullshit
The spring part is kicking my butt! I can't get passed the final part of it.
I just wish the spring section wasn’t the 3rd after a checkpoint. Having to spend a minute each time to try and tackle it again is so annoying.
The invisible part is making me want to smash my switch….
Edit** I made it!!! ❤️
Yes, but for me the worst was the auto-bounce badge, the timing was so frustrating and didn't have any power up to begin with.
What I did was… damp a teeny tiny bit of Kleenex in water, barely as big as Mario on screen. and stuck it on the screen roughly in Mario’s position when the camera follows him.
Gives me an idea where he would be, at least horizontally. And it helped A LOT.
I drew with permanent marker where mario was on my screen so I could always see him. Even when the games not playing hes still there. Forever.
@@Sefirosu88 I managed to cheese auto bounce by having a power up ready lol
It's dumb AF, it should've been put immediately after the checkpoint, I'm sick of repeating 3 areas before getting another chance to practice the invisible part
I had 100 lives going into this level. I finally made it through on my last life. Idk if I would have had to strength to start over if I hadn’t made it.
Honestly you make it through pretty fast in future runs after doing it thousands of time 😅
But the extra lives' maximum is 99.
@@MarioTrioNumber199 extra lives plus the one you have going in. Then all the lives you get from coins while playing which is a lot. All in all I probably used over 150 trying to complete that level.
Completely understandable. This is for sure up there for hardest Mario level ever. This gives “the perfect run” and “champion’s road” a run for their money.
Skill Issue
This level made me hate the invisibility badge sooo much 😭
Yeah that's where I gave up. No idea that was the last one, if there was a checkpoint before that level or at least the one before it I would keep trying but this video is good enough
@@JoeFpocyeah the invisible one is the last part. The crazy part is that you gotta hit the top of the pole in order to 100% complete the level..and yeah with the invisible badge it’s not that easy.
@@Wano-Kuno I’m going to give it a second try later today. Was practicing playing with the invisible badge a bit and will probably use yoshi so his floating ability might help with the pole. If i dont get it after 200 lives then its not meant to be lol
@@Wano-KunoI got lucky and got the flag pole first try. I can’t even imagine not getting the top of the pole and having to do the whole level all over again just to get that. That’s where I would rage quit lol.
@sammyshehole That exact scenario happened to me.
Choked on the bounce trying to get the top of the pole.
Finally got my 100% about 30mins later(WORKING WITH OTHER PLAYERS MAKES THE WHOLE STAGE SO MUCH EASIER!!)
For the invisible part I like to put a rubber band or hair tie around my switch to visualise Mario’s horizontal position. It’s still pretty hard to estimate where he is vertically but it definitely takes a lot of the difficulty away from
The spring section made me want to throw my switch out the window. My dad was telling me to take a break when he heard me stomping on my bed in rage.
And that invisible section was rough. I hated dying and then having to wait another several minutes to retry it. I was SO relieved when I got to the pole, AND so happy that I got to the top of the pole the first time I beat the level!
The spring jump section gave me worlds of trouble until I figured out you could jump directly over the second-to-last platform to land on the last narrow platform.
As for the invisibility section, only the area with the balloon fish was tough. Still, I had no major troubles with it otherwise.
Everyone’s talking about how hard the invisible section is, but I can’t even make it past the WALL-CLIMB JUMP
💀
Same
Same here. I will try again tomorrow.
It's actually very easy with Yoshi. No big deal for me.
@@KyloZach Yoshi is like easy mode
After so many tries. I MADE IT 😭
I came here because I was having trouble with the Grappling Vine section, and you mean to tell me there's an Invisible section right after with no checkpoint? Yeah, I think this level can qualify as a form of torture.
Update: I did it!!! It took me several hours and leaving the game open overnight so I didn't lose progress, but I did it! You couldn't pay me to do that again.
Update, The Sequel!: I can't believe I didn't even think to say thank you for this video. Thank you! This did, in fact, help me get good at the Grappling Vine section.
Yeah I don’t think I’ll even do that level again in future playthroughs. Just knowing I managed it already is enough for me.
The vine part for me was also a pain, but the invisible section, I pass it on my 2nd try
It’s actually kind of good there was no checkpoint at the invisiblity badge, since the Jet Run section up to the Invisiblity section give you plenty of coins to give you a life and lose lives slowly. As long as you aren’t dying a lot before the vine or invisibility part, you shouldn’t have to worry about lives, especially if you have plenty to spare.
The vine badge challenge starts off hard, then gets easier. The invisibility badge challenge can rot inside a black hole. It starts off easy and gets impossible to do solo.
For the invisible part use the spin jump instead of the normal jump! You can see it better
Funniest and least serious final reward i think ive ever gotten in a video game ever 😂😂😂
It’s up there with the giant golden turd BOTW gives you for collecting all the korok seeds.
Reminds me of the Dead Space foam glove.
@@a3f32r2way better than that, at least there's some functionality to this one
It was that or a poster saying “Thank You!” 💀💀💀
@@a3f32r2Its so much better than a golden turd. This badge at least has a use lol.
This makes me wish there were more actual levels that forced you into certain badges, there is a lot these movement options could enable in level design. As it is, most badges are used to make some tasks easier but they could be used for much more!
That would make it so much better, imo the badges are pretty useless in this game and can feel like just cheating or playing easy mode
I was just thinking the same thing, hoping this is addressed in the next Mario Maker. 🤞🤞
Would be better. I beat 99.7% of the levels with the cap parachute badge.
Same with the Elephant suit. Barely any levels used it in a meaningful way beyond maybe breaking a wall or watering a plant
I finally got to the end, timed my jump perfectly for the top of the flagpole, then of course I missed the top just barely.
SAME
LMAO 😂 me too
I'd have probably yanked hairs out of my head had I missed that flag pole. After who knows how long of trying to get past that final area that would have been the ultimate insult to injury.
I missed the top too. Brutal. Don't have it in me to try again yet.
I did it, but I never felt such anxiety in a game before when I saw the flag pole.
I just went with it and somehow touch the top
After spending 300 lives and yelling at the camera over and over for killing us, me and my brother finally made it through this stage in co-op. It was how we ended our night and was incredibly satisfying to wrap the game up with something this difficult.
I cannot get past that invisible part and I know if I do I'm going to miss the flagpole.
for the first part of the level i would recommend you doing the spin jump
Same
I just beat this and it truly was a test of skill, prob 30 deaths to complete it, most were from the spring feet and invisibility. I’m just so thankful Nintendo was kind enough to add checkpoints otherwise this totally would’ve been harder than The Perfect Run
30 deaths my ass
I missed the top of the flag and just called it quits
F
lol
Yep, same 😂 Finished it pretty easy a 2nd time tho
I just missed it for the 3rd time.
Oof
I got so freaking lucking with the green balloon part of the invis section, god this level alone took probably over 200 attempts. Did it all without power-ups though since I didn't wanna loose my place with all the purple 10 coins
This made me break my no nabbit streak
Fr.
You can use Nabbit? Well why didn't anybody say so?
@@SalvadorButtersworth Nobody's said because everyone's too proud to either do it or admit to it, except fuckin me.
@@aceyspud551 my game's been running for 3 days, I keep going back to try again for a few minutes at a time. I have 2 10-flower coins already, but I don't think it's worth it anymore. I can't use the switch for anything else unless I exit the game, and life's too short to keep dying like this.
So if I do it, it'll be with Nabbit.
This invisible section is kicking my ass. I always lose track of myself at the green balloons or accidentally ground pound in my panic
I had to edit my ground pound to not just be DOWN ... I was doing the same thing
Once you get to the green ones, brake mario. But dont do it too much otherwise you wont have enough momentum. If you lose even just a little, you will not make it!
I finally beat this level. I probably died over 300 times, trying to beat this over several days. I appreciate the challenge, it was at a completely different level to anything else in the game. It was interesting to see myself get better each day through all the practice.
at least you're honest. There are people in thw comments saying that it only took them only 10 or 30 tries and you know it's bs.
Nah it's not BS. Most of us are just better than the rest. For example, mine took about 13.
It doesn't matter how good you are. When you combine being invisible with bouncy platforms and bottomless pits it's no longer about skill.
@chesspunk489 You realize that makes no sense, right?
Once you get used to how things work, the previous sections will feel like a breeze. I technically got passed half of the level at this moment and time.
I got so lucky with the invisible part: I basically died again at the perfect jumping but when I died I was a ghost (played online for assistance) and somebody placed a stand at the end of the level. bro I was so happy when I managed to reach it and someone was at the same level with me at the time. And luckily I managed to hit the flag at the top. It felt so good but the reward wasn’t really..that great.
You have to hit a stand before you can use it to un ghost yourself. You probably hit the other player which is even more lucky. Fuck that invisibility section
wait how i do that? can anyone online help me to beat it? pls tell meee
@@chriscavanaugh1697WAIT FR? damn that’s hella lucky then. I think I can remember someone being there and I barely hit it
Yeah I think a better reward would maybe have been the ability to equip two badges at once or something. But I’m satisfied just beating the level.
Ok i got some advice for the invisible part:
I) The clouds are there for a reason. It tracks your movement.
2) once you get to the purple balloon, wait till it goes out a little bit. Then get a running start then jump on the balloon
3) brake mario at the green balloon. However dont doit too much otherwise you wont have enough momentum to make it.
6:46 the “woooo!“ is so enthusiastic it’s awesome
The last section has nothing to do with skill. Playing invisible could be a fun challenge but in that part you have to have the right momentum and it’s impossible to gauge.
agree, cause of invisible part this will be my first mario game that i am not able to 100%
D-regulus, i dont know if you will ever see this but thank you for carrying me through this hellish level!
When i finally beat this level, i missed the top of the flagpole. I started it again and beat the entire level beginning to end on my first attempt only to miss the top of the flagpole again. Then after 2 more deaths i finally got it
For me I got the top of flag pole, but I miseed the Second 10 Coin
same bro
I had literally no idea that you could ground pound the platform in the second area to make it move faster and longer!!!
This level is insane
I was happy when I cleared the Final Test, and then I saw there was a Final-Final Test. I can't even manage to pass the water electric water part, so I just gave up and decided I won't clear this level. To this day I still haven't beat any game by 100% (except for NSMB2), not even my favorite one, because I always came just close to it and got stopped by an insanely difficult challenge.
Really unfulfilling, but I don't want to get even more mad trying to 100% a game.
Mario games are always hard to 100 percent complete except for the first gameboy game.
Just play as Yoshi or Nabbit. That section is actually the easiest as those characters.
Thanks for the video, had no idea there were checkpoints and I almost quit right at the start but then kept going and the only really hard one was the invisible part.
Cheers
After dying for over 600 times, I finally finished this level. 😅
I came here to see how far I got before all my deaths... not even halfway.
That stupid auto-bounce badge with the firebars. I don't have any power-up to just boost through. And the sections after look so easy.
Why isn't the checkpoint at the spring badge instead of the duck jump
Use the purple guy so you take 0 damage
@@Legofromthelowerlands020 Feels cheap, but that's just me
If you don’t wanna use Nabbit or Yoshi to just bypass them, the bubble power-up is very useful since you can just use the bubbles to bounce in the air and go right above them.
This level is literally that one scene in the Super Mario Bros movie where Mario tries to finish the course and he goes on forever.
After 6-8h and 300-400 lives later I DID IT! Without using yoshi, the other special character or online help! But… I missed the top of the flagpole by a small bit 😢😮
What an experience! That feeling of “one more time and I’ll do it” is very rewarding.
This is peak game game design. Only Nintendo could do it. You start by thinking it’s impossible but every time you try you improve slightly (or at least you find out how to do it better) and eventually what was impossible before, turned to very difficult and with time turned again to easy.
A few pieces of advice for those struggling:
- take 99 lives with you.
- try to get lots of yellow and purple coins. You will need the purple to buy 99lives more when you loose them all (350 coins) and the more yellow you find the longer is your run. You can easily turn 99 lives into 150-200.
- take a power up (any) and use it before the last stretch at the infinity bouncing level. You can get hit by the fire bars twice. It turns it to an easy part.
- I also needed a power up at the last part of the underwater level. You can get it from the beginning.
- on the invisible level I left my TV remote vertically at the bottom of the TV just left to the middle where mario stands. That made it much easier to know where my jumps were landing.
- as others said at that same level wait for the 4th inflation of the pink ballon to start jumping, then align the TV remote (or whatever you are using) to the ballon and you are safe.
More importantly. Have fun!🎉
It felt very satisfying on beating this level and getting that final badge especially after how intense and difficult it is
this level made me want to cry and scream and throw my switch out the sun porch
I FINALLY BEAT IT! To the blue Toad that stuck with me to the end 👊 You a real one!
You are a Master Mario player, you have the best rhythm in all badges throughout. Love watching this vs me playing this insane level. 😅❤
The most fun part of gauntlets like this, is how by the end, you can basically speedrun it.
I was SOOO relieved when I got to the top of the flag pole at the end 😭!!! That invisibility section is the most STRESSFUL part!!!
Thanks for showing the ending too. I got too bored of playing the level to finish it. Onto other games!
this will be the first mario game ever i won't beat 100% cause of that invisible part..rip i wasted 100 lives on it and died
You 100%ed Sunshine?
yep@@JamesNerdMan85
This level is worse than The Perfect Run in Galaxy 2
I beat Wonder a few days ago. Sunshine is now the only one I played that I never beat. Too many blue coins.
Try using the little emote sticker thingamabobs, they will help you know where you are.
This level gave me PTSD. Even after beating it and getting the flagpole, there was no sense of joy.
This takes me back to being a kid and struggling to beat the Animal Antics level of DKC2
Screw the second part of the invisible area. I probably died 150 times before finally beating the whole level. And the very end trying to calm myself to make sure I got the top of the flagpole.
My trick for the last section is just setup: stand at the corner of the slight uphill to the horizontal section, wait for the balloon thing to almost be released (fourth fart noise), and start running. Aligned me pretty well, ymmv.
The auto-bounce part took me EONS to get through
Toim toim. Honestly the classic sound effrcts from SMB or SMW would be better than that toim toim voice making the sounds.
I was at that last part of the last level with the invisible balloons. I was struggling and couldn't get it even though I had numerous opportunities to retry, but one game a Japanese player stuck with me, even playing the preceding stages over and over again If I couldn't get back to the cut out in time until I finally succeeded. All he could do was run through it and look back and hope for the best, but it was enough. Major kudos to that person
I found that Yoshi was the best person to play as for this level - noting that when he does his little flutter jump, you can see the sweat/water even on the invisible part 😊
I played almost the entire game as Daisy, kinda want to finish as her too. :/
For me Yoshi is tricky, once he takes damage it takes a while to reset. Hard to reach the end with Yoshi for me.
Each to their own, I died so many times as Mario and I finally got a breakthrough with Yoshi
I died so many times, but finally, I made it to the end with 34 life's
Wait, does yoshi count as a character to finish the level?
The invisibility section was just pure evil
I honestly didn't find the invisible part that hard. It just came down to feel for me. The bouncy part was the hardest part if you use non-Yoshi/Nabbit. If you use Yoshi/Nabbit it's basically free since you have invincibility.
-it took me 4 and a half hours- 😀🔫
Why does nobody online help with boards?
Whoever made this courses has played and mastered Kaizo Mario Games! I died over 40 times up to the spring jump badge part where I got stuck in! 😆
I just beat this and I got SO lucky with the invisible part. It took about 7 attempts on that section and 0 skill was used. I just jumped around frantically and managed to land on the balloons. I wish I could offer advice to anyone else struggling with it, but you just have to persevere until you get lucky. You can kinda tell your position based on how the clouds dissipate but that only gives a general idea of where you are. Really wish there was a checkpoint at the beginning of that part...
I tried lining up where I wanted to land with the middle of the screen. It worked really well with the stationary targets, but the balloon fish messed me up severely.
Nope. I'm not gonna try this level. I'm just gonna wait for mario rpg.
I might just have to do that. I'm stuck on this damn level!
I think this may be the new hardest level in all of 2D Mario. I finally got it after hours and most of my sanity wasted.
Does Impossible Pack count?
You can also play as two-players mode: the main player has a crown to show your location.
I hate the invisible section so much but at least they made the first half free. You just hold right and count 3 Mississippi (or just jump from the edge, counting makes it easier for me than guessing) then jump and hold right and you should automatically make it to the balloon section. Sometimes the second to last bouncey thing throws you over the last one so to ensure you make it across everytime do a big bounce on the second to last one and you can just launch over the final bouncey thing to the platform with the balloon
Write ✍️ a dot on your Tv screen using a marker on where Mario stand and you will find yourself easily.
Took me about 20 lives to get through this, I can't imagine the frustration of some people here
Oldschool trick for the invisibility part: Get tape and place it where Mario is centered and then just concentrate on that. It still takes some attempts, but it´s quite manageable.
The spring section was the hardest by far if you don´t have a spare item to tank a single hit.
The worst part is when you're trying to learn the invisible part and you start messing up on jet dash / or the vine shot sections
Playing the invisibilty part on 2 player is 100000% easier. I beat in 2nd try that way. What makes it so much easier is the little crown that goes above lead player stays there on screen even though your character is gone. You are a mini crown going accross the skies!
Oh yeah true, I actually used the crown icon to get past one of the invisibility challenge while I was playing with my siblings, I probably should try it on the final level but it would feel like cheating lol
I must have played the invisible section 80 times before I realized you only need to bounce off like 3 of the green balloons. And twirling several times while in the air obviously helps as well. It's best to get a sprinting start. I lined up just above the pump and started running right before the balloon leaves the pump.
I popped off so hard when I finally beat this monster of a level!
Imagine doing all that and missing the top of the flag pole
this level is so annoying. Yeah, I pretty much have infinite retries if I make it all the way to the invisible part. But the invisible part is AWFUL and skill-less. It could have been any other badge and it would have been fine. There's just no reason for that badge. And I can't even quit out to go buy stuff with these flower coins, cause I need to clear the level first.
I BEAT IT. FINALLY
I find the rest of the level pretty fun. Even the auto jump part has a rythm to it that can be figured out. I usually still die a few times to it but that means I eventually clear without getting hit as a small character.
It's just this invisible part that is complete bullshit. I still haven't cleared the level and I'm dreading missing the top of the flagpole.
Skill issue
Omg the spring fire part was making me want to slam my head into a wall!! The only reason I got past it is cause another player did it and saved my ghost
I was extremely fortunate to get past the invisibility section in just 2 tries, but the springey section was the part that I really hated.
This stage is a nightmare
I watched a video of someone beating this and it took them a while to even with 99 lives and you’re making it look easy
Currently doing this and OH MY GOD THAT SPRING PART IS SO F ING HARD! I am literally so bad at timing my jumps😢
"See ya!" Proceeds to be invisible.
I don’t think I’ve ever been more certain of death, than after taking two hours to complete this shit 💀💀
I'm so happy I FINALLY finished this level 😭
The invisibility section with the fish is the most obnoxious thing I've ever seen in a Mario game. I enjoyed this game, but now I wish I hadn't played it
Got through the invisibility on the 4th try....but holy hell did take 20+ times to get through the first three consistently enough to try the invisibility four times 😂😂 just got in the zone ❤ ended up watching this video a ton as a guide. Ty!!!!
That final invisibility badge section is the reason this is the ultra final level, isn't it? That badge's II level to open up Special 6 was rough enough (and don't get me started on anything involving wall kicks).
I spent about 2 hours or more on this and had such high blood pressure from anxiety and anger.
The hardest part for me was the second to last. In the final section, I was lucky someone left a standee and saved my life.
Easiest way to beat invisible level is with Yoshi and then do 2 players. Have 2nd player jump on yoshi and you will have arrow over you entire time.
I know its probably considered cheating but my friend and I are going to use standees to help each other out with each of the stages so we won't have to restart.
We beat the entire game from start to finish with each other so it only made sense for us to do it with each other.
this level is the perfect example of hell
Kept dying at the pink balloon fish, but once I got it I made it past the green balloon fish on my first attempt! The amount of sweat in my palms and other parts of my body was so overwhelming because I HAD TO reach the top of the pole....
After emoting and staring at my screen to time the last jump ....I MADE IT!!
The loud "YESSSS!!" I screamed scared the whole house, but it was a HUGE relief finally finishing this level. I guess now that I don't have to have my switch suspended on this level I can play other games lol
Legends say that after designing invisibility badge, the developer mysteriously went invisible himself and never returned to normal.
Though that wouldn't explain the very visible blood splatter found near where he was last seen.
Your "reward" for beating that nightmare is creepy. And also a nightmare.
I went in blind without using guides.
After burning through 70 lives I finally beat it.
...Bowser can vacuum breath away the accursed invisibility badge so it never sees the light of day again. Outta sight, outta mind.
I'm at the 4:13 mark. It's nice to know I don't have too many levels left to go. 😅 Although, I'll have to do it all over again to get the first badge I missed.
Update: I made it to the invisible section. Having a hard time with the ballon part. lol.
Update 2: I MADE IT! 💓
It's so dumb how there's no checkpoint at the start of the invisibility section even though you just completed three prior sections.
Really hoping Nintendo patches this in because a lot of people have complained about it.
The thing I like about this level is that you can use nabbing. Reason is 2 things, he's impervious to spikes electric bolts and burning lava rocks. Plus he sounds like r2-d2 when he falls off a cliff.
