Ok, so that's a pretty cool place to live if you're a baby spider. That's a good mom. Some great close-ups shots and sweet editing in this one.

Thanks, really appreciate it! Tried to refine our editing technique a bit in our recent month+ break from posting 😅

Such an awesome video and spider species to highlight! I’m going to be on the look out for them!

Thanks, Pisaurids are possibly my personal favorite spider family and these nursery webs they build are only a small part of that! Hope to feature them more in the future!

Nursery Web Spiders are really cool little arachnids, I would love to film the babies in a nest one day! Those macro shots were incredible, how did you get those? Really great work Andrew, I’m always impressed with your editing and your messaging is top notch. I think a lot of people will come away from this video with a newfound respect for these spiders, great work!

Thanks guys! The macro shots were tricky but the main nest was open enough to gently push the phone-mounted macro lens into a bit. I could then press it against the webbing and push in gently to get the right depth to pull the spiders into focus. The webbing is quite strong and not overly sticky so I was able to get the footage with no damage to the nest, leaves, and no injured/displaced babies!

Saw your video on Yellow sac spiders, but comment turned off. I just had one in their sac on my kitchen cabinets. My research showed they live in eastern North America. I am on the west coast of Canada. I’m 99% sure it was a Yellow Sac spider. Is this unusual?

As always Andrew I was thoroughly invested throughout this entire video with your awesome story telling and presentation skills! Your really good at drawing in the hook and making me interested in whatever animal your talking about! Really enjoyed this video, are nursery web spiders found in MA or RI?

Thanks Satchel, really appreciate the feedback and kind words! Yes, nursery web spiders are actually found all the way up into Maine and Canada - and all the way down along the Gulf Coast!
