Here's the definition for storage of a restricted firearm, "An individual may store a restricted firearm only if; rendered inoperable by means of a secure locking device and stored in a container, receptacle or room that is kept securely locked and that is constructed so that it cannot readily be broken open or into," You can build this room, but make sure your home insurance covers the $$$$$ value of them. @@hardrock1826 what's the line between a container/safe to a room that is a safe? That seems hard to enforce... something like this is a conversion of a room into a safe. How does that work along the lines of these restrictions you and the OP are referring to?
@@omgMBP This gun room access just looked like a couple of hinged book shelves. Locked or not, that's far from secure. As the fellow was standing there, I could see light at the top of the door from inside the room. And here, a room does not constitute a "Safe." You can have guns locked and stored in a locked room closet with a locked door made of secure materials, like solid wood, not a curtain or bi-fold type door, etc. But there are limits to that. And ammo needs to also be stored in a secure locked containment apart from firearms. Safes are usually made of steel, in most houses, rooms are contained with wallboard/drywall. Hard for most to penetrate a safe but most people don't have much trouble penetrating wallboard with something like a hammer. That's why a room or closet on its own is not really secure. You can have a safe enclosed in a Man Cave Gun Room, as long as the guns are in the safe. Mind you I'm sure you could have a Gun Room like in the video with your guns on the wall. When we built our new house the front porch now has a 8 inch thick concrete reinforced (or ceiling as it were in the room) floor and everything under the porch is hollow we weatherproofed it. We sprayed foam on the walls and ceiling, it's like a cave but it's about 20 ft long by 10 ft wide and that's where I have my gun safes. it's also a storm room we didn't put a big vault door on it but I do have a steel door and then you swing the cabinets out similar to this video there's the steel door which is just a basic steel exterior door with the deadbolt on it it's very nice but not as nice as this one. A buddy of mine built a similar room in his house but it has a safe vault door as an entry door I'm a little too paranoid and claustrophobic for that I'm not going in there and shutting that big door behind me LOL.
In my opinion, A generic steel door is better. Draws less attention. People do not realize but modern carbide blades in a worm-drive saw cut these safe doors up like butter. The blades are designed to cur 1/2" rebar all day on job sites. A safe door is no match.....

I've been around commercial construction sites and worked in a custom cabinet shop while I was in college. Never once did I see a single professional drive screws with a drill. I see Joe Homeowner do it all the time, but usually because they've been using the same drill since 1998. Also the only screws I've ever snapped were crappy sheetrock screws. That doesn't happen enough to cause any logical person to choose a battery drill over an impact to drive screws. Also, if setting the screw flush is important, you would use a countersink and set your driver to low power.

I thought I had a gun room, that my friends is a gun room.
Life goals.
Do you have sufficient information ?
Where can I get these panels ??
Thanks for shorting out my keyboard from the drooling...
Never thought I'd see a actual gun addiction 😂😂😂
What are these panels called on the walls
They are simply called wall panels see: www.secureitgunstorage.com/product-category/gun-storage-accessories/gun-room-gun-wall-panels/
his ready for the first wave of zombies
I GOT THIS FEELING that this guy will go in the first 5 mins of a zombie outbreak!!! and all he is doing is KEEPING "MY" GUNS IN STORAGE FOR ME.... THANK YOU!!!
Every time I hear someone refer to a precision rifle as a sniper rifle I can hear eric (Iraqveteran8888) losing his sh!t in my head lol
What would a couple rifles that you consider a sniper vs a precision? Im not into any long range shooting so i don't know
@@chacedelaney7282 There's no such thing as a sniper rifle, hunting rifle, or a target shooting rifle. Sniping, hunting, and target shooting are the intended uses for those precision rifles. He doesn't like when people classify rifles like that :P
@@intox69 that's completely fair though. Most larger caliber rifles you would use for hunting or.. 'sniping" have an intended use. They are made for exactly what they are made for.
Heard him say we a lot but only saw one do it.
Said the same thing. Lol
Love it sir thanks for the ideas .
I want that Mark 19 GL
Incredible!
I would love to wake up to this armory. 🇺🇲✝️🇺🇲✝️🇺🇲
theres a gap above the door
Nice video. Awesome room awesome job!....just one thing, sorry to tell you...but bad guys watch these videos too. So yeah, thanks for telling the bad guys where the guns are. Again, my apologies, but these videos should be shown at discretion.
Where do you buy your replicas at?
How many guns can you shoot at one time and when someone does a home invasion...how quickly can you get into that room..............
What a dumb question, no shit you can only shoot one maybe two guns at a time, but that doesn’t mean i only want one or two types of firearms to take down to the range for some fun
@@TNoStone Why don't you teach your children to shoot two guns at a time as you shoot multiple guns...what could go wrong???
No retinal scanner to access it? Disappointing!! LOL.
Why am I always bothered when I see someone using a drill to sink screws instead of an impact?
Drills are actually the better option as they have a clutch so you dont snap heads off the screws or over sink them.
Also, if setting the screw flush is important, you would use a countersink and set your driver to low power.
that's the difference between cabinet makers and framers
@@crashfields14 so you use a battery drill for framing? I don't get your comment.
@@denniscooper6328 it was a metaphor, drills (for me) are more forgiving, surgical than impact drivers on more delicate surfaces.
Very goood, Sir
Business must be good..👌👌

Is this at your house?
Ohh man that is awesome.

Nikos Vithoulkas you aren’t from the USA right
unfortunately...
Nikos Vithoulkas the guns are not real they are replicas for the company for shows like this but you can own guns in the USA
I live in Greece, and here you can easily buy only shotgun( two barrels, side by side or pump action). I wish to visit US a day.
@@nikosvithoulkas9602 You 're welcome here anytime if you don't cause trouble. Plenty of gun ranges you can rent guns from and shoot all day.
