I am married to someone from a different culture to mine. My husband is Polish and I am Jamaican. Before we got married, I learned about his culture and he learned about mine. I learned what was expected of me as a wife, and he learned what was expected of him as a husband. We spoke about religion and how many children we wanted and what faith they would be raised in. Maybe I'm in the minority but those types of conversations should be happening before the wedding. I also Googled things about his culture to understand more of the older generations expectations so I didn't clash with my in-laws.

This is one of the worst and most delusional couples on the planet. Kimberly is Clair-cray-cray but TJ totally scammed her into coming there. He lied about literally everything and withheld the truth about major things she wouldn’t have married him over. For him, his mom and brother to drop the” you’re gonna change”trap door on her the day after they were married was insane. Kimberly’s reaction wasn’t crazy enough on that one. Not to mention, the mom cleaning the dishes with doo doo was why Kimberly constantly had diarrhea. She shouldn’t have ever agreed to move in with his family. She should have told him to be a man or stay with his mommy.

as someone who lived and dated abroad, I genuinely feel for her. it's not easy at all, especially with a drastically different culture, language barriers, etc. (I was also in Asia). I was originally overseas for my education but got so stressed I abandoned both my studies and relationship after two years and retuned home. I hope she's in a better place now.
