This is such a feel good song, often overlooked in favor of 'wake me up ' 'I'm your man' & 'last Christmas '. It's always been my favourite. So glad they are finally being recognised for their contribution to music (the 80s were full of legends Prince, MJ, George, Whitney and off course Madonna at the top) she's the only one left. We should rejoice her while we can. Anyway your reactions & input are uplifting and fun 😂😂

Hey, Rickk, Try FREEDOM 90/MTV 10TH ANNIVERSARY SPECIAL. After writing this during his solo career George ended all of his concerts with this song. Not sure if anyone commented. Wham! made history by being the first western band to ever preform in China (1985). That is what this video was about. It was down to either Wham! and Queen. George Michael was also the first "white" artist to win an American Music Award for Favorite R & B Male and Favorite R & B album for FAITH. That was in 1989. So, George Michael made history twice. At least twice.
For their performance, they were paid in bicycles. Lol. George in an interview said it was insane because what were they going to do with hundreds and hundreds of bicycles. So awesome they made musical history by being the first western group to perform in China. Wham!, like George had many firsts

This song was banned in china and they were invited to china to do a concert but only if they didnt do this song because china is communist and guess what? They did it and got banned from ever preforming in china ever again. 🤣
