My grandad always had cortina estates so I’ve watched all of these videos so far, I like watching budget builds as it shows we can all have a go, it inspires me to get my own classic project in the future 👍🏻🙂

Find a piece of tube and weld it on ive done that with my hammer I've had for 25 years but it's a big heavy hammer that bulk head looks alot better not easy welding up that way for you (not me) but im experienced and have a the proper stuff and better welder lidi do a small welder small and simple £90 flux wire and wire is £4 a roll one just do it when you can afford to mate its alot of work and a struggle for you but keep on it don't need to rush do it right the best you can 👍

I had a lump hammer detach and hit me on the head I reattached it and used a small metal wedge and hammered it into the end then I soaked hammer in a bucket of water so it swelled up hasn't come off since. Keep up the great work bro. Your certainly making great progress 👏
Thanks bro yeah my stick broke on the end lol I think as its a old hammer wood was rotten lol some one as gave me a idear to weld a metal peace of pole to it
coming on great there buddy, i would go replacement floor pans too, saves you a massive amount of time, yeah i know you like a challenge like us all, but you got to make life easier for your self and put that challenge into something else on the car, you have done a fare whack with that bulk head. Also no harm in taking a break on getting your stock up, Ie investing in some rust treatments on ebay. Some are in the 5ltre etc. Also POR15 blows hammerite out the window too, its pricey but its well worth it. So you could use on the inner bulkhead. I used it on my dads Defender front end, and its a lot stronger than hammerite.
