Everyone keeps going on about the "outdated" interior. I don't know anyone that has bought an XR or FPV and had even commented on the interior. Myself included. I have an FG-X XR6T and I can tell you now, I did not purchase it for the interior and when I upgrade to the XR6 Sprint I'm still not going to care about the interior. Although if I had to state my opinion, I actually like it, including the subtle changes in the sprint. Sync 2 is a great system that works really well, the cabin and seating is comfortable and roomy and apart from that I don't care about much else. If it ain't broke don't fix it!

The cars aren't built good, the diff bushes fail prematurely since the BF which tells you how little development it has had. look on my profile my gearbox and window wipers failed within a week. Shame really as Ford gave Australia a terrible budget to design the car hence the poor quality
+Ash Cosmo what a load of shit. If that is true, you have been unlucky. My F6 makes over 300kw to the wheels, has done nearly 100k and has had zero issues. The build quality is excellent. Maybe not as modern as some, but excellent.
This review was focused upon the xr8. Why? The xr6 turbo sprint is known to be faster than the xr8, to me it sounds better (I have a weird grudge on v8's lol). I think you guys should have incorporated more on the xr6 turbo, because that's what some people are looking at - me for example

lol at dcx i have only ever owned xr6ts and i have raced many stis which all there owners approached me to race and i never lost. For a AWD and being lighter it is a heap of shit in a straight line and would take a taxi any day. Im sure an sti doesnt sound like the sprint manual 8 i ordered either.

Hi there New, I absolutely agree that Ford produce fantastic world class cars here, very very sad day when they close up shop and exactly why we have ordered the XR6 Sprint , I sold my FG XR6 turbo a couple of years ago to buy whatever would be the last fast Falcon, since then they announced the Mustang's arrival and I jumped on that immediately....... since picking it up and putting 9000 kms in it I can honestly say its faster,has better handling and better equipped than my FG turbo was ( and that FG was sensational ), when our Sprint arrives I do think it will have a definite power advantage for sure but it will be interesting to see how they stack up against each other. But as Molly says - "do yourself a favour " and go drive a new Muzzy before you trash it, because they will be around far longer than you predict....7000 on order so far. In 5 months time I will have the Mustang and the Sprint in the garage and I'll let you know exactly how they stack up.....I really don't care which is better , I just wish Ford was still producing in Australia.
Wish I could find one of these low milage vehicles that hasn't been thrashed or involved in an accident. Didn't have the opportunity to purchase on.....white, metallic grey or victory gold in auto...they sold too quickly and outside my state.❤👍

How many times have i seen falcons on the road as its a common car. How many times do i see these cars squeek or rattle even the falcons thats 3 years old. 5 year old falcons or falcons reaching 80,000 km start rattling just when the watranty ends. I dont see much camrys rattle maybe when they are 20 years old. Dad had a 89 camry. Had it till 2012. Till the time he sold it , it never rattled. Didnt have squeeks too. No joke. Ive seen a commodore ve about 3 to 4 years rattling. Im not sure about the camrys now. But man that 89 camry was free from trouble. Only thing needed replacing was the coolant fan.
The majority of those who will be purchasing these motor vehicles aren't going to give a rats arse about the interior. The only thing that matters is what's under the bonnet.
Blame the fucking unions , why they can't afford to pit better interior in that car at that price . The unions drive up labor costs , that business pass onto us so in the end we pay more for much less

Unions are just there so the employees dont get treatedlike slaves like many jobs out there with no unions, they are like police. Useless unless needed.
