I know I've thanked you guys and youtubers like you before, but I'm going to say it again. My health is a constant struggle, and recently my heart added to that. It's material like what you guys do that help me get through this. Family can be there all they want, but eventually have to go home. When I'm stuck in the hospital, it's all these videos that are my friends keeping me company. It reminds there's a world outside my bedroom or hospital room. It helps me stay focused on getting better, and getting back the outdoors. So thanks again you guys, for helping keep my spirit up. It's a powerful thing to affect someone's life when you may never meet in person. Here's future adventures, exiting trails, and healthier days for all of us.
I'm sorry to hear you're going through such a rough time. Having an emergency surgery a mo th ago I kind of understand this as I was in the hospital for 3 days. Giant hugs.
For me, Elsa, you are a gold standard in video storytelling. From your content, to the great music, to the thoughtful transitions and edits. I love it. Thank you for sharing it with us!
I love (and am always shocked) that you guys still make an effort for an actual meal out in the cold when most of us would admittedly open up a can of ravioli and heat it up part way out there, say screw it after a minute, run back in and eat it half cold. Much love from Ontario, Canada where it's also been dang cold! xxoo
Hi I have been following for awhile but never replied. No reason I guess we I’m like “ I wish I would have been brave like Barron and Elsa when I was their age” you may have mentioned it in pervious videos. Do you have plans on the home you want to build? You guys make my dad each time I watch one of your videos.
After camping outside for 2 weeks in January and thus cooking and cleaning, I’m SOOO impressed that you guys have been doing that for years. Doing dishes is so hard when camping. Honestly I would find a video on how you guys wash your dishes very helpful and interesting
I started watching you two July 2020 when I had ny Thyroidectomy...you were the first camping couple I'd ever watched and...I learned from Barron..that you can.cook spinach leaves since I didn't eat spinach I never knew you could cook it until I saw him cook it.now I eat spinach!
Not sure why, but something tells me it may be time to build a little shed kitchen. No matter how simple the build would be, it would be nice to not have to deal with wind, snow, hot sun, etc. while cooking. It will be sooo worth it!

I’m so glad I kept watching because your guys content now is much more sustainable and insightful than any other makeup channel that could ever exist! Thanks for all that you guys do, and I love this idea of life you guys live! I know it’s hard and all I want is for it all to work out for you guys :)
We lived in a Geodesic Dome for 35 years on the Eastern End of Long Island. They have come along way. Rob and I also built it ourselves from a kit...the building never ended. Through all the ups and downs we loved it.

Hi guys 👋 I can’t even begin to say how much Ive missed these videos of yours! Elsa at the helm cooking. Barron cheering her on and not wasting the ice cream. And Kamp making his intentions known. Jeez I’ve missed this 🥰🥰🥰
You are the cooking 🏆 Champs for freezing your Arse off, and making special entrees in a snow storm!! I can't believe you both have lived in the Scamp for years, during all seasons. Loved your 🎶 music, walk with Kamp.
Keep introducing yourselves to people! It opens the door for them to introduce themselves to you! And Elsa, I found you through the face awards. It’s been amazing watching your journey and meeting Baron. You’ve introduce me to a whole to world and I’m forever grateful 💜
I remember my parents used to say, "You'll look back on these days and remember them as the best days of your life". I look back at hardships I endured and somehow get it, though not sure if they were the best days. My parents were right, as I look back on "difficult times" and how we endured became sweet memories of the past that I learned from and never repeated.
I smiled Elsa when you were talking about your makeup (cosmetics/ paints) life and how it feels like another life. I feel we get to live several lives in one life and seeing your face when you thought about it made me smile. We are blessed to live every year but those who get to have several lives in this life feels kinda magical 🥰 Been watching y'all for years and I feel grateful to be apart of your journeys!
This is one of my favorite video’s I’ve seen in the past year. Love the day-in-life content and so happy Barron was more involved with this content/video.
The wife and I have really enjoyed your adventures over the last few years. We are part time truck campers so at least for our short trips we find your stories very relatable.
Elsa & Barron, I have been considering a dome home for a number of years now and I can tell you from all of my research that the cost savings among many other issues is a very sweet alternative to normal home building. The quick time in which you can occupy the home, the creative interiors are endless and in area of high wind, it's a natural choice. Also, they make connections from one dome to another, so you could easily connect your home to the green house dome. Now that would be so cool to enjoy!! Good Luck!!
Gosh, I can’t live like this I would be in a constant bad mood. I hate been cold. Elsa you must really love Barron to go through all this!!! Time for you guys to build a tiny house. Admiration to you.
Next building project - a cabinet of sorts that has doors on it that opens up to a cook/stove surface with shelves for storage above that. It would give your out door kitchen a roof and wind protection for the burners!
Loved to hear Barron say he was unthawing the water. With the cold brings harder ways to get things done, but interesting at the same. Stay well and warm.
I live in Chesterfield Va. and we hardly EVER get snow.. I love it when it snows.. Its like the whole world is fresh and calm.. It has a peaceful feel to it!! We had a very small snow, maybe an inch and my son lives 1hour and 15 minutes away and they had a lot.. Trees were down and a lot of them lost power.. I get snow days by watching videos on yt!! Lol, I've got to get it some way.. I love it when it snows where you are.. I get entertained and a snow fall at the same time..
omgosh the camp shots in the snow....joy! My doge goes all happy and nutty after being stuck inside during snowfalls and then FREE DOMMMM outside...doges rock my world! (I have a camp space pin!)
It's honestly refreshing and so reassuring to hear y'all talk about the hardships of the way you're living. We're living in a REALLY tiny tiny house in northern New Mexico and have similar winter struggles, like a very small kitchen that has us cooking outside more often than not, and keeping our water supply from freezing every night. I feel ungrateful sometimes when I find myself thinking how bad it sucks to cook in freezing weather, or dealing with no space. But sometimes things just suck and it's all a part of the journey...I know I'll appreciate my kitchen that much more when we build something bigger. So, thank you for the relatable feelings and being honest! Love watching y'all, and can't wait till you get the garden started!! It's hard to find garden content in our zone on YT!!
Having such a little place makes me feel good about my little apartment, although small it gives you a cozy feeling and easy to heat. So glad you both are not caught up in the rat race and rather enjoying life the way it was meant to be. I Envy you guy's. Goodluck.
I can't wait until you guys have a good kitchen area. Y'all deserve it so much! I always dreamed of living on the road/off-grid but when I actually did it, cooking/washing dishes was the BIGGEST struggle and made me decide, hmm, maybe this isn't my dream life, lol. I have major respect for the challenges you both face living in the Scamp, but just like Elsa said, someday soon you guys are gonna look back on these times with nostalgia! :) It's such a gift to be able to watch you both grow and evolve as humans through this channel.

Just love your videos. So glad you have your home. Its so nice to see 2 young people in love and now married and enjoying life together. May your journey continue into the sunset and snow.
im not sure what your plans are but, have you thought of building a small barn around the scamp? we live in a small casita that we park in a small metal building that has enough room we can step out of the casita and live in the barn with a kitchen there and small living area but, all inside the barn.
I love your cooking videos. I know it is totally wrong of me to find your video so relaxing as I sit in my warm house. But the beauty and ruggedness of your life makes me excited about what you'll do next.

We do a LOT of our cooking out side but we live in a 40' 5th wheel. It's just so nice being outside and cooking, dunno how to describe it. We also have the same wood stove but I think ours is the bigger version. It keeps our trailer in the high 60s to low 70's in during the 9 months a year we burn. Rather burn the wood than the propane. Have been really enjoying the content of the hunting, cooking, and property management you've had on. Keep up the great work!
Best ice cream in the world is Graeter’s Ice Cream from Cincinnati. Also sold at Kroger’s. Sent some to people as a thank you. They are still talking about it.
Growing up nomadic living in the luxury of having running water a toilet that’s inside is all thing I really do like and am so grateful for now in my life. I still miss the nomadic life and will someday go back to it.

It's sooo good to see you guys flirting and laughing around 9:17...!!? ....And to mention my guys Tyler and Todd and all the work they have put into their geodesic dome?! *Chef's kiss*
Sending so much love and support, small town gal in NH ✌️❤️😁-Stephanie
You both look very happy and relaxed settled I like it
Hello Karen how are you doing
Hi Maria how are you doing?
Growing up nomadic living in the luxury of having running water a toilet that’s inside is all thing I really do like and am so grateful for now in my life. I still miss the nomadic life and will someday go back to it.
your videos bring a smile to our faces, Elsa and Barron! (also early gang
I've always thought you both are amazing to be Cozy Warm inside & then having to go Out Into the Cold to Cook......
It always Looks Good & it's so Cute for all 3 of you to Eat together on the Bed.....
Thanks.... I Enjoyed watching....
I saw that Bakers Creek seed catalog off to the side. It’s a dangerous rabbit hole to go down 😂 I made an excel spreadsheet listing all of our seeds!
Hello Stacy how are you doing today
Have you ever thought about building a roof over the Scamp to keep snow off of it and around it?
Or covering the table and stove with a small tarp
@@sandrareyes3131 a 2" binder clip fits perfectly on the belly band. Insert a strip of shelf liner for no slip grip. This would hold the top edge of the tarp in place.
They have an awning. Why not just wind it out while they're cooking?
@@tanyaclark3474 the wind would rip it off.
@@sherrypeterson1842 don't put it up in the wind. You only use it when the weather is ok but I'm sure its not windy all the time. I have one on my camper and use it to cook under and its great. Even in snow just put it out while cook.
You should make some soups, curries and chili to keep in the freezer. Imagine having frozen berries in the summer? I bet you can't wait!
I actually found your channel way back when you did the face awards and I’ve been here ever since. I remember when you posted the original scamp video and thinking wow, I could never do that (I still do lol). But I love watching these videos every week. They’re so peaceful. I can’t wait to see all that comes next!
I miss the Scamp days! but I am so happy for you all now!!
I adore all of your content. You are both my TH-cam bestfriends and I'm so excited to see where this journey is going to take you guys! So much love ❤️ ❤️ hopefully your journey finds warm kitchen space for you soon! 🤞🏻
I already said, but I will say it again, you guys rock! Barron you are an inspiration for me… Keep on posting those fantastic videos… Cheers from Portugal
The easy listening flute music when the situation called for emo! That just cracked me up. You have a musical sense of humor!
the cocktail lounge music is a trip LOL! Kamp makes me smile. Tx, Rich
I love that song. My favorite travel guy uses it as well. So dreamy! That spaghetti looked yummy!!
I was counting down 🥳 you guys are such an inspiration 💓
Thanks for watching!
I have watched you guys for a while now and I live it. Your so funny sometimes...I mean that in a good way. And you guys do so well together. Camp is hilarious. Thank you for sharing what I can only dream of having. I can live it thru you. You are beautiful people.
Hello Lynne how are you doing?
@@austinhowland300gmail. good thank you
@@lynnerowe2642Okay Where are you chatting from?
@@lynnerowe2642 Hello Lynne where do you live?
@@austinhowland300gmail. I'm sorry but that's not info I am free with just at the drop of a hat. Hope you understand.
I love your cooking videos the most, it doesn’t matter what you’re cooking, I just love them lol 😝
I love seeing this side of you guys! In fact, this might be one of my favorite videos in a while. I love seeing your silly/casual sides. Seeing you two shrug off the not so glamorous stuff and still being happy, is what inspires me the most.
So many of us (including myself) found you through the NYX face awards and stayed! I’m so glad I stayed around, bc besides an innate talent with painting you are such a multifaceted woman !! It’s amazing seeing what you’ve taught yourself throughout the years. Also crazy to think how your life could’ve been if you stayed down that path of beauty and makeup….
I so love watching you guys. You inspired me to buy a Scamp but the reality is when you try to go it alone the journey is twice as hard. I sold her to a couple that had each other. Keep us in your journeys. Your viewers love you!
Hello Jane how are you doing
Tyler and Tod's dome is cool. Camp loves the snow
I started following your channel during the makeup years. LOL watching some of the body paint art you did was what got me hooked on the channel! Came for the body art, stayed because I love your personalities and watching your journey really inspires me! Thank you so much for sharing and creating such amazing content! Can't wait to see how the land progresses!! Keep up the great work!
Y’all seem extremely happy to be together. It’s good to see.
Hello Helen how are you doing?
I love you guys and your cooking tutorials!! I've been following you for about a year now. Your new life is so exciting to watch! It's like you're starting all over in some sense.
I love that you guys went out in a snowstorm to get ice cream from the bush freezer 😆
