I am here after watching your trek to Everest Base Camp last night. Once again, another beautifullly made video showing your humility and appreciation for nature. It was good to see your guide Teeluk again and I remembered his special Nepalese song. He is such a sweet and caring soul. We all need a Teeluk in our lives. Namaste 🙏
Well done on this series (Nepal)! I feel like we need more content like yours. Someone who shows genuine respect and interest not only in the country they visit but its people. I feel like it's a rare thing to see a travel channel with someone who genuinely loves and invests in the places they see and telling the stories of the people they meet. Your story-telling style is so watchable -Keep it up!
i have never been to ABC yet but visited Annapurna Circuit back in 1997… trekking up to the spectacular and wondrous mountains really make us realise how small and insignificant we are… Be humble, be kind to one another. Namaste 🙏
I trekked to ABC a few years ago at 68. An experience of a lifetime and the toughest thing I’ve ever done. I then declared “never again”. But after watching some of your videos, I think I might be up for it again. I’ll have to train for a year just to make the decision, which will be a good thing whatever happens. And, as you said many times, Nepal is a delight. I’d love to visit Pokhara again, even if I’m not up for a hard trek.
12:02 takes me back man.. I remember doing this exact same trail for an exclusive school trip back in 2018 with a group called Antipodeans. Actually turned 17 at that very base camp hahahah
Thank you so much for sharing your adventures with the highs and lows, it feels very genuine and as a viewer I am cheering you on. You have a great team there. 😊
I hope Dad enjoyed the trek in such high altitude mate.U r a soldier u will be fine.u guys got super bonding as a family.keep it up mate and enjoy the rest of time in Nepal
Thank you for taking the time to create this. I am going to do the ABC base camp next week and this has really helped mentally prepare. Fingers crossed I make it to base camp and altitude sickness doesn't get the better of me
Don’t push your body too much and take lots of short breaks along the way, as many as you feel like taking. Also buy some dry fruits in pokhara and make trail mix and munch on them along the way. Wish you a safe and happy journey.
It was so wonderful to see this video of yours with your dad and the ever smiling Napali guide. ... so inspiring and real.... I like to do this hike too but not sure if my knees will be strong enough for it....
Love your videos. How lovely to have your father along. To me, ABC trek looks much harder than an EBC trek. There didn’t seem to be a lot of trekkers here. I gather EBC is more popular.
I am really proud of being one of best country i born from.. Nepal is best. One of desired country who one to visit here. Love it how all the people liked one they travel over there.
Is Tloc (I know I probably butchered that spelling) the same guy that you trekked with up...I wanna say Everest? I honestly can't remember now. But I also feel like the song he sang in this..we've heard before on another video? Either way, what a good man he was. He was so caring and sweet. Almost like the way a mother takes care of their child when sick. The people in so many of the other cultures you've shown us are just so amazing. The way they care so much is beautiful to watch and I'm sure even more beautiful to actually experience. You sure are a trooper Jordan! Idk how you do it sometimes! I'm glad your dad seemed to be ok and didn't experience the sickness too.
Thanks for sharing your journey with us. Any tips for us new hikers on the trail to annapurna? would bringing altitude sickness medication help and eating veg food as well? Lastly, when is the best time to hike to annapurna? :) thanks bro!
Awesome video, really enjoyed it. One cultural reference. "Namaste" is to greet someone, like "Hello". If you want to thank someone, say "Dhanyabaad" as in "thank you".
i liked your videos. Its very informative and as if im experiencing it myself. i love watching himalayas mountain documentaries and yours is one of the best. i hope to see u doing k2 base camp. thank you for your videos!
Love your videos!! I will arrive in Nepal in about 3 weeks. I'm soo excited. I'm planning on doing 2 big treks and 1 small one. Will stay in Nepal for about 2/3 months :) !! Also a little afraid of getting altitude sickness. Is there a way to prevent this? Do you have tips? Keep up the good work!!
You’ll be fine, there are plenty of rest stops along the way. But as the commenter above said, take it easy! It’s not about getting to the top either.. there is so much beauty to see if you slow down :) ❤
Nice video. I hope you are feeling good. I think Tilak gave you bay berry. I don’t think that’s strawberry. You went all the way to base camp but didn’t go to Tilicho lake Jordan. 😀
Love u from Nepal It’s my biggest desire to visit mountain base camp specially mt. Everest We can get lots of info from four video. Thanks a lot. Really enjoying videos
Hi:) awesome video! so looking forward to do a trek my own. From which „company“ is Tilok? I would love to do a trek with him because he seems so generous and friendly. Would make a great guide for me to feel comfortable:)
Thanks! I am leading a trek with Tilak to EBC in October if you’re interested! The link is in my bio on Instagram to fill out a form of so. Or If you want to go on your own another time I have linked the company here in the description /)
You did excellent in EBC trek. But why did you suddenly get unhealthy in ABC? For a moment, I was very afraid that something would happen to you. Thank god you did well at last. Thanks to Tilak and your Dad too.
I want your guide! The way he stayed with you and rubbed your back when you felt sick is amazing.
Nepal is door step to heaven 🇳🇵🇳🇵
We welcome you from our heart
Thank you so much for promoting Nepal ❤️❤️

I was hoping he would sing again! 🎉❤
I wish you'd trek Upper Dolpa as well. Not many youtubers have gone there but I think upper dolpa is one of the top trekking site as well.
Great! Tell me, please, what seemed harder to you, ABC or EBC?

It was the same guide they used on their trek to EBC ... and I remembered the song too.
😁spelled as “ Tilak” . The accent makes it sound different like with all of our names .

your mountain trek to ABC is very inspiring, planning to do the trek by the end of the month but seeing you had mountain sickness made me worry
Take it a little slower, I am going to take a rest day to acclimatise when I go there. 😊

Great documentation bro!!May I ask what month did you went?
Bro you didnt drone at annapurna base. Was it not allowed to shoot with drone there or what?
Any idea of how the weather is in late June- mid July?
That was probably the same flock you bumped into in town on the first day trecking
Cool trek bruh. Great job🙏🇳🇵
I did this same trek last November 2022. Almost similar experience. I stayed in the same room at chamrong. Room 5.
Incredible 🙌🏽

he is really funny guide you got as well. love from nepal. keepitup
Don't you have to acclimatise when trekking over 8000ft. You can avoid altitude sickness that way
Love the series ❤️❤️❤️

Thankyou for Vloging & exploring our country Nepal #Namastyy🤟🙏🙏🙏
Thats 4130m altitude and that peak is at 8000m altitude. Cant believe 4000m looks so small when you are looking at big mighty himalayas
nepal dont have highest or big buildings but himalayas are really cool
30 minutes of travelling, and you feel like you are in a new country.
It is so bizzare.
Great vlog from the Himalayas of NEPAL! Always welcome to Nepal!
When you visit Nepal again?
what time of year was this?
Please do annapurna circuit after this if you plan to visit nepal again
Its the most adventurous of them all
Make sure to visit sarangkot
It’s on my list!!
I recommend you to go to the national museum if you return to Kathmandu, trust me I know you will like it

Too much altitude in one day. We broke up what you did in this video into 2 days. One day would have killed me!
