I'm sad that the pink one wasn't comfortable because it looked great on you. Totally your color! In my experience, kurtas which have a mix of cotton and viscose/rayon fabric just flow better on the body. I like just viscose/rayon kurtas too but because it's a thin fabric, you need to wear seamless bras for a clean look. Brands I personally like for a comfy fit are Max, Westside and Ajio's indie picks!
A line dresses, A line kurtas with tight leggings or straight pants, tiny polka dots, tiny flower prints and prints with vertical lines, Dark colourd cloths, v neck or china collers are curvy girl besties postpartum. Been there done that ❤
Hey Satshya, I also had a hard time buying new clothes for my postpartum body. I recently shopped for the same and I must say oversized T-shirts and short Kurtis in larger sizes have been a life saver and made me feel much better. In terms of bottom wear I feel like Blissclub pants were the only bottoms that I felt good and comfortable in. I’ve decided to get other bottom wear later whenever I end up losing the pp weight.
Fellow heavy chested girl here. My no 1 tip is to invest in level 1 padded push up bra. It makes a lot of different in how to bodice of garments fit and look on us. Of course it can be only worn when you are going out and not have to worry about feeding. Front opening push up bra might help.
I can relate to the frustration you feel after putting on a dress that you dont like. I visit shops try on dresses none of them fit, i return heartbroken and frustrated. The next 2 days are hell, i feel like shit.
U should apt for a line kurtas as they always spread towards the bottom making ample space for the tummy ....n fit feels apt too..do try few a line kurtas n not straight fit ones
Watching this video was seeing myself , it was so relatable… , I am also going through postpartum phase where nothing fits or doesn’t feel good. I found a few good Kurtis from Melange brand , their sizes are usually a little big.. but loved that you were very raw and shared your thoughts..
U believe u should try more tunics/ short kurtas they really suit u and also they are more comfortable in my opinion!!! Like the lavender one u wore towards the end 💜
So relatable, I was unpleasantly surprised by my jiggly pp pooch and yes, the bigger chest. One year later, I've made my peace with it. 😆 Now I just try to get clothes that are comfortable and make me feel confident.
Hi S, first of all I have really grown into liking your TH-cam videos. As someone who gained a lot of weight and couldn’t find clothes of her size and shape. I would highly recommend getting pants that don’t have ruched know string kind of situation instead get the one from Blissclub the size is inclusive have maternity support pants too, they look really amazing. I like to avoid clothes that have pleats around breast or on the waist coz they tend to highlight stomach or breast area more making you look bigger than you are. And about Kurta I highly recommend trying Anouk, Sangria, Kalini, Sassafras and Rangmanch
You earned my respect for the first day I saw you and subscribed.. Still it is increasing day by day.. usually I don't follow woman for these type of content.. but i maid right choice with you.. you are so real.. I like you.. 👍
As someone who has 0.1% knowledge about all these fashion things, I would give my "audience" opinion that the pink one was really really pretty... Please do consider buying it if u find the next size... Other than that I agreed upon all ur choices made me feel happy as well when something looked great on u😅😎 easy🙌
During post partum, I think the safest bet is ANARKALI tops- synched at the waist and flowy from the waist-down and bottom 💯 And if they are feeding friendly 🤱🏻 then that’s an absolute win-win👌🏻
You must go to stores IRL and then vlog the trials once you’re home with your chosen clothes. I’m sure things will feel better that way and you won’t feel sad because clothes not fitting just puts a damper on your mood. Also Libas and Biba have decent clothes :)
Try wearing skirts or like loose dresses, like longer pieces for India. They are very comfy perfect for hot weather and modest also, easy to style and looks very nice!!!
Same! I have two kurtas with this silver/gold triangular thingies and I hardly wear them coz they irritate my skin. I'm planning to take the kurta to a tailor and get the silver trims removed
@@nehalgamit Uniqlo and cotton on is where I got most of mine, but honestly just going up 2 sizes in any cotton T-shirts work great (eg if you’re S wear L or if you’re M wear XL)
I bought the magenta one 3 days back 🥺 I just cant figure out how to style the dupatta as it's not that deep and the dupatta is not looking well 😭 I really loved the blue kurti on you ❤
No offense but everything suits on you every suit/kurta was looking nice. It's just that you are from south that's why maybe somewhere it's difficult for you to liking the Northern style. The anarkali suit and the pink chikankari are very trending especially in delhi (please take it as a suggestion not as hate i love watching ur videos)
I can feel ur hesitation with black top am just 18 but am overweight am not insecure about my body but when I go outside I think like that I think I like you honestly it happens to me either I work on my weight or choose good outfits 😂
Haha oh gosh I feel you!! I learnt to reassess my body type now and see what is most flattering to that ☺️ I hope that helps - I know it’s very easy to say love yourself but when you don’t find clothes that love you it’s harddddd 😭😭
The purple, hand block print kurti, looks so flattering on you, short kurtis are best and trendy right nowadays. ❤️✨✨ Pink one was also looking very pretty, only if that was comfy enough to wear, also yes, blissclub is greatt✨✨. I immediately open your videos, love your reviewing and all types of videos🫶🫶✨ Right now, i know with baby you can't do to and fro, for shopping but i would really like to suggest, for best chikankari, try going delhi haat, ITO, the best place for ethnics and also the cotton dupattas😂, wrote so much already😂🥹, hope, you had a good day ❤❤

Ooh I’ll put that fabric as a filter next time :) and so sweet of you to suggest brands! Thank youuu
Idalia and libas are also good. Idalia has good bottoms in their kurta sets unlike most other brand which have shorter length bottoms
One of the ‘most honest’ haul video I’ve seen in a while, Satshya!

The blue bandhani kurti looked great on you Satshya🤩
Westside is really good with both fitting and material

Westsides utsa has the best kurtas so make sure you visit that someday🥰

I feel like Westside has some great comfortable well fitting clothes. Utsa has some really comfortable kurtas
I agree ! Utsa is the best
Few people liked the pink kurrta. But I would suggest if u wear it around your baby, the sequence on the kurta can be uncomfortable when u carry her.

I would try Utsa and Westside they have a fantastic collection of kurtas good luck, you look pretty in the pink one and the blue loved it
Try the melange collection from lifestyle. Honestly, they have the best cotton rayon material kurtis..I use it for daily wear.

Those maternity pants seem similar to Phoebe’s maternity pants which Joey wears to eat Turkey😍 #comfortableteam
