Jake, I see myself 30 years ago. Great to see the flexible, make do lifestyle is still being lived by people, with modern twists, and it’s not just about being a couch potato and staring at screens (which, albeit, still has its place in lieu of old fashioned timetabled telly).
Hey Jake, nothing compares to Van life, it gives a feeling of freedom, independence and living closer to our environments, although their are the downsides you mentioned, the water is a big one. Our councils in Aussie have removed most tap handles, and it can be a dilemma to fill our tanks between caravan park ammenities. So we have to buy plumbing tools ( tap handle) to attach to use a hose to van in the dead of night, 🤬 as they’ve corporatised our water. I know your in a cooler country, but I also use a yoga mat under foot which is softer and easier to clean, I do have rugs, but don’t use those in our summer 🌺 heat. I wish I could pick up your van and land you in ozzie, we have so much to see and do for a lad like you. Bec would love the hiking and water holes including 🎣 fishing.
I like to put stuff away as soon as I have finished using it. If I leave one thing out, I l theneave another, then another and the van is a mess. A tidy van with no clutter feels a lot bigger. Get yourself a little, collapsible washing up bowl. You use far less water doing the dishes.
Went to puregym and the closest you got to a workout was sliding the van door open 😂 Great channel, and the quality of your video production has come a long way since you started the old van shenanigans. Keep em coming Jake.

Ditch the bananas if you don’t like spikes. I’ve listened to a lot of Tim Spector this year and really improved my gut health. He’s got an audiobook but has appeared on a lot of podcasts with lots of the same info. Based on what you said you might like his approach 👍
A couple of things, the park up for the months you were away; I presume this is someone, who allowed you to hitch your van up securely? And how was the van battery when you returned? Dead as a dodo, as you have a fridge freezer etc Or does this need to be emptied before you leave? Looking forward to seeing your next adventure.
