    as an aspiring 3D artist i will gladly torture myself with unnecessary details that will most likely not even be visible in the final render

    8:10 “Finally I have everything to compete the scene and it’s all mine”
    Truly a rewarding feeling this statement gives

    that's how you can be proud of your creation. The internet is full of "artists" that just shove other people's assets into their projects and show off. i'm not saying that in a production environment that is not the way to do things fast and well, but when doing art, i appreciate someone who does it all.

    This is outstanding. Thank you. Also, I love that you add details to the scene that no one will see. Either by a lack of planning or as a perfectionist, this type of thing affects us all :)

    Hello, I am a Japanese who is studying computer graphics.
    Sorry if my English is wrong.
    I just recently started to touch the blender and was wondering how to adjust the camera, so this was very helpful. Thank you very much.

    great scene. so this is not considering topology right? just for good output. that's why it can be done so quickly

    •  ปีที่แล้ว

      I honestly don't understand the comment? Where is topology not taken care of and why do you think it would be slower otherwise?

    • @KeanusReal
      @KeanusReal ปีที่แล้ว

      @ um if u subdivide this models, probably most of the shapes will be broken isn't it??
      Since topologys are not consisted balance and edges as well.
      Iam asking Cuz retopology will take tones of time to work.

  • @AurrenTV
    @AurrenTV ปีที่แล้ว +2

    It seems so obvious now;
    But keeping the render viewport open to see how the render will look as you're building it, even from blocking out is such a powerful method.

    • @travisyee7278
      @travisyee7278 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I usually partition the viewport screen into two halves, one with object view and one with a render preview.

    • @AurrenTV
      @AurrenTV ปีที่แล้ว

      @@travisyee7278Yeah, I've started doing that now. Already helps a lot to cut down on making unnecessary bs that you're never going to see.

    • @GiJoe94
      @GiJoe94 ปีที่แล้ว

      Keep in mind If you don't have powerful pc keep the render window smaller it will render faster because of fewer pixels

    hi !! well done your work it's amazing 👏👏👏, but i have a question : how do you do to make so realistic lights (the glow is amazing) wihtout compositing !! do you use a pluging ?

  • @johnathanlim
    @johnathanlim ปีที่แล้ว

    A simple question about the FOG, do you just use the normal way creating a huge box and put in a Volume Scatter shader in the cube that's it? Because I notice your fog have somehow feel like is only at the back of the scene and slowly blend in. Can I know how you get that?

    •  ปีที่แล้ว

      You can control the fog in the compositor with the help of color-ramp, or in post-processing in any program if you use the mist pass. I talk about it in the tutorial, if you are interested you can find it in more detail on Patreon.

    How did u do the breakdown in the beginning Sir?
    Do u have to not save the file and just Ctrl Z/Y the whole time?

    •  ปีที่แล้ว

      No. I simply duplicate the same file, deleted everything except the camera.
      After that, I copied part by part of the scene from the main file and saved the render. In 15-20 minutes I have a nice slideshow.
