Exclusive interview with Gambian President Adama Barrow

Gambian President Adama Barrow visited China last week, with both China and the Gambia vowing to boost bilateral ties in various areas. The two countries resumed diplomatic relations in 2016 after their severance 20 years ago when the African nation was engaged in a so-called diplomatic relationship with China's Taiwan. Earlier, Tian Wei spoke to President Barrow to find out what he hoped to achieve during his time in China.

Dear Mr. President Adama Barrow. As you have stated pertaining to where the "strength" of the Gambian people lies...in Agriculture!
You claim to need two things and which you appear to be 'begging" from the Chinese...Expertise and Money to develop mechanized farming.
This commentary begs to disagree with your view point!
You need neither money nor expertise from China.
Senegalese and Gambians are "The Original Rice Growers of the World" and you can easily check on the veracity through the Africans stolen and brought to the Carolina's of North America....The Gullah Geechee people of the Low-country region in the USA.

Quit being so dependent yet claiming to be independent. Go to your counterparts in Tanzania and Rwanda and ask them how they are building up Africa with their own wealth and manpower.
Your lackadaisical approach of dependency leads to "Corruption" widely spread throughout Africa. This trepidatious deportment is a big hindrance preventing appreciable growth and development on the African continent.
Know yourself, as to...Do-For-Self!
Invest in your most precious resources...Invest in your people through Research and Development just like the ingenious people do.
