- Join me for an overview of the interior design principle of balance while focusing on the similarities and differences between symmetrical and asymmetrical balance. You'll learn about the design term visual weight, how we use the design elements to create balance and cohesion, and how many times we use both asymmetrical and symmetrical balance to help organize elements and create a sense of equilibrium and balance to a room.
