a 275/40 R20 tire seems excessively large, its 44mm larger in diameter, 58mm wider and 6.3% larger in circumference then the original steel wheels that come with a transporter... Do you have any trouble? Like any rubbing or are your traveling faster then your speedo? I like to fit some Yokohama Geolandars AT tires on a T6 4Motion (fairly cheap, load rated, and one off the most universal tires available not good at anything not bad at anything from wet to dry, from highway to dirt road), the best size this load rated tire comes close to the original tire size is 235/55 R18... But I have some doubts about the larger size.... Your tire is about 12mm larger, 38mm wider and is about 1.8% larger in circumference, it looks like you have original VW rims so offset should be less then a 5mm difference... If you don't have any problems, mine would be an easy fit... Could you inform us about this? Thank you!

Got the Yokohama Geolandars G015 A/T fitted, they drive as expected, no rubbing (not even close). 235/55r18s drive good, a bit more comfortable then the previous 235/50/r18 Nexen summer tire the wheels came with. Quite, maybe even better then the Nexen summers, and the Geolandars are winter rated (3pms and M+S) and is a all terrain tire (about 70% street / 30% offroad profile blocks)... Grip in wet weather feels nice, feedback is fine, and they look fairly good on it... How's your speedo though? When driving a 100km/h the analogue clock shows exactly 100km/h. The digital screen is kinda off with the clock, it shows 98km/h while driving 100km\h... Did you fix it somehow? your wheels on my T6 would show 95 while driving 100 on the analoge clock... Anyway, thanks man you made my discussion so much easier!
Easy way tell a quality garage: A) Fire all the wheel nuts back in with an air gun, making sure them buggers ain't coming off at the side of the road. B) Spin the nuts back on with a wheel brace and use a torque wrench to tighten them as intended by the manufacturer. I'll go for option B as it shows they give a ....
So they did not use a torque wrench did they not? I also did not film them offering to make me a drink.. Also proof of a garage that does not give a whatever word you did not type! Think before you assume. 🙂👍
Newbie here, but I do remember AVON, we had them on our bicycles too, but in USA,,you won’t find AVON, the brand here is owned by COOPER TYRES, CHEERS FROM NJ..USA🏴🏴🏴🇬🇧🇺🇸
To most people tyres are a grudge purchase at best, but are actually one of the most important components of any vehicle and should not be overlooked Nice vid which good info👍
AVON very bad tires. Dangerous for driving in the wet and in the dry, the grip of the tires is terrible😧😱 Inever buy cheap tires for my VW van. only reputable and proven brands are considered.

Try castlerigg campsite Keswick amazing views fellow t5 camper and I would get a poptop seen u crouching makes a big difference
