Here's why you may want to consider installing a heat pump in your home

As the temperatures get cooler, you’re probably focused on heating your home. A heat pump offers an efficient solution.
“It is electric, but it’s transferring energy,” said Branden Audet of Energy Technologies. “It’s either transferring energy in the wintertime from outside to inside, or in the summertime, it’s transferring energy from inside your home to the outside.”
A heat pump increases energy efficiency and is both heating and cooling. It helps regulate the temperature across your entire home and offers up to 400% lower operating costs compared to heating with oil or electricity.
“The heat pump is the most consistent, smooth heating and cooling you can get,” Audet said. “Think of it as a Tesla.”
It can also add value to your home. A recent study using Zillow data found that, on average, homeowners saw a 7% increase in property value when they added a heat pump.
