If you want to understand where Avendesora came from you need to read the past of rand reviled to him in the aiel city ... Avendesora came from a sampling of the last tree in a city during the breaking ... Someshta was the one who made these sampling and gave to the aiel before the started their traveling the aiel planted Avendesora wile the city was being build ... the reason ; maybe the presence of the ogiers This is the part where the sampling where brought away : A hundred came to meet him, men and women, the representatives demanding word of whether the Aes Sedai had granted leave for some to stay. “No,” he told them. Some frowned reluctantly, and he added, “We must obey. We are Da’shain Aiel, and we obey the Aes Sedai.” They dispersed back to their wagons slowly, and he thought he heard Coumin’s name mentioned, but he could not let it trouble him. He hurried to his own wagon, at the head of one of the center lines. The horses were all nervous with the ground shaking at intervals. His sons were already up on the seat-Willim, fifteen, with the reins, and Adan, ten, beside him, both grinning with nervous excitement. Little Esole lay playing with a doll on top of the canvas tied over their possessions-and, more important, their charges from the Aes Sedai. There was no room for any to ride but the young and the very old. A dozen rooted chora cuttings in clay pots sat behind the wagon seat, to be planted when they found a place of safety. A foolish thing to carry, perhaps, but no wagon was without its potted cuttings. Something from a time long gone; symbol of a better time to come. People needed hope, and symbols. Alnora waited beside the team, glossy black hair tumbling about her shoulders and reminding him of the first time he saw her as a girl. But worry had etched lines around her eyes now. He managed a smile for her, hiding the worry in his own heart. “All will be well, wife of my heart.” She did not answer, and he added, “Have you dreamed?” “Of no time soon,” she murmured. “All will be well, all will be well, and all manner of things will be well.” Smiling tremulously, she touched his cheek. “With you I know it will be so, husband of my heart.” Jonai waved his arms over his head, and the signal rippled down the lines. Slowly the wagons began to move, the Aiel leaving Paaren Disen. Rand shook his head. Too much. Memories crowding together
Janduin was not following the Way of the Leaf when he left for the blight. The man who ran him through was Luc, brother of Tigraine. He looked so much like Janduin's dead wife he would not raise his spear to defend himself.
How do you decide how much info to give and when is it too many spoilers? While I think you may have skirted the line a bit lol I don’t think that without more context it will spoil anything major to any new fans. Where do you draw the line in the info to give? That would stress me out
i figure anyone who is interested in history and lore is at least open to minor spoiler. but where to draw the line is a tough call. i actually went further in this one than i had originalled planned in terms of mentioning galad and janduin. but i had to mention janduin since he was the leader of the aiel war, and since the focus of the video is on the war rather than family trees, i suspect that some people may not make a connection that is implied in this video. and i specifically cut the ending right as it goes into a really cool plot twist. but the twist is impossible to deduce for the words in the video. but yeah, its stressful. bc everyones opinion of what is spoilery vs non differs, and i dont want to ruin the reading or watching experience for anyone there are some videos ive been working on where i already scripted in very explicit spoiler warnings. but unfortunately, when people click on videos, hear the spoiler warning, then click off, its basically telling the algorithm to not recommend the video to anyone. so my goal is to try to make it clear in the titles of videos that are geared towards book readers so that only they click on it, elsewise, the video will forever be effed with the algorithm
@@bridge4 damn i never connected the dots on the spoiler warning and algorithm thing. So that’s why everyone waits to announce their spoiler sections for the later half. Ya that is a really good point actually it’s a specific set of fans who watch these. That makes alot of sense. I’ also think it’s very helpful because they just flat out can’t go as deep on the lore like this on the show. Prob the reason for the animated shorts as well. And anyone who wants to get deeper in this stuff can find it. Also love this vids for me as well cause i forgot a lot of specifics so this is very helpful
yeah, people may do that so that people dont click off right away. i dont like to eff around with boring intros, "hit subscribe and ring the bell," and that kind of stuff. and id feel unethical to lead people on for half a video only to give them a spoiler warning. (granted, sometimes, that makes sense). so unfortunately, i often screw a lot of hard work by making videos where i mention spoiler warning right away, and then the video is screwed lol and thanks for the kind words, ser!
Halo as in the game? or there is a show coming out? which station? i havent read Sandman (yet). but i am definitely planning on watching it. and ill produce content if i either read first and learn it and have ideas to share. do you know if it has an official release date yet or is it still just 2022?
@@bridge4 Halo the show, looks amazing, Paramount truly went all in. Re Sandman, Netflix only post a 2022 date along with shows like Stranger Things or the Witcher Prequel, it wrapped in the Summer, so maybe in the Summer of 22.
word. i'm not too well versed in Halo since i was never a gamer (outside of Ocarina of Time, GoldenEye, Witcher 3, and Last of Us). a show like that is probably going to have thousands of people covering it. so ill definitely be watching it, but doubt i'll be entering the discuss (unless i read some of the books i bought over the years lol. i may get addicted if i do that) i aveguely recall the Sandman trailer looking awesome tho. pumped for that, stranger things, and witcher prequel =))
***Book 2 or Book 1 after Season 1*** Book 1 has a lot of stuff in it that Season 1 did not. History and Lore type stuff, magical explanations, etc. So at some point, you will want to read book 1 to get that information. I could see how it might not be as fun a read coming directly after watching Season 1, but there are a lot of differences, so you may still find it enjoyable. As an example, do you recall that scene where Mat and Rand met a Darkfriend at Breen's Spring? In the books, their adventure together takes place over a few chapters. My friend who read the book before season 1 didn't like their journey, but I love it. That type of mysterious adventure in a book 1, when I'm new to the world and the kids are outside their village for the first time is really fun for me. So I would say to read Book 1 before Book 2. But ultimately, they get to the same "Eye of the World" type ending. Actually, you know what ... the books and the show are going to be massively different. It looks like they are going to be combining multiple books into single seasons, and thus, they are going to pull characters from an arc in one book, and have them do their arc in the next book while other characters absorb their roles for the other arcs. So considering the differences, you may want to read Book 1 first. It'll feel similar, but there are a lot of differences (you meet Min much earlier. and her visions are different and very important) =)) ***New Spring (prequel)*** the prequel was published after book 10, so that's the safest place to read it. and i've seen some fans state such. i've never been able to figure out why though. the prequel is relatively safe after book 1. the reason you wouldn't want to read it first is because Moiraine is new to the kids and the reader in book 1. so we dont know yet if she's good or bad since the kids are scared of her and have doubts (as we saw throughout season 1 as well). and if you read the prequel first, it's pretty clear that she's a good guy. so that's the main reason you want to read the prequel after book 1 (or after having watched season 1) but there's a new type of darkfriend introduced in both book 2 as well as the prequel. and personally, i think it'll be a more fun reading experience to learn about that type of darkfriend in book 2. so i'd recommend saving the prequel until after book 2 some fans say after book 7, since you meet a character in the prequel that doesnt appear until book 7. but im not sold on that. so apologies if i am wrong, but i think after book 2 is safe ***** no matter what you choose, enjoy te ride =))
I think you could probably skip them. The only things of importance missing from the show I can think of are the introduction of a couple of important side characters and the demonstration of Rand's power. *Minor spoilers below* Rand meets a princess, the daughter heir of Andor when he falls into their garden along with her two brothers Gawain and Galad. Like all heirs to that nation she is going to the white tower to train and her brothers are going to study with the warders. They become more important later in the books. The second thing is Rand destroys the Trolloc army at the end of the first book and that is where a key dilemma of the second book and onwards is established. Rand isn't just a guy who can channel, he's not Logain, he's an apocalypse event way beyond every other channeler around. Our boy is tearing apart mountains and not only does he have zero control, he will eventually go mad and possibly wipe out everything, but even if someone does manage to kill or gentle him that might mean they lose the final battle against the dark one. That problem is really important and effects alot of the main characters going foreword. Cant think of anything else you would need to know. Hope this helps :)
@@bridge4 Words cannot express my gratitude for the detailed answer. Thank you so much. I’ll be reading The Eye Of The World and go for it in order. duuuuude. when "medieval" type fantasy has wolves, im also sold (a series with a cool wolf in it is "Farseer Trilogy." as many times as ive tried, i dont like the final book. but the first two are fun, especially because of a wolf lol for what its worth, the time period of The Wheel of Time is supposedly Renaissance, not medieval. i'm not too well versed in the differences, but i figured i'd throw that out there in case you are smarter than I (which is likely lol)

i dont know if i can answer that. not because of spoilers, but because I'm not sure. i'll say this though ... blood often plays a part. In book 1, there are already clues to future reveals other than Rand. I won't say who, but VAGUE SPOILER BELOW if you are interested . . . . . he added, “We must obey. We are Da’shain Aiel, and we obey the Aes Sedai.”
They dispersed back to their wagons slowly, and he thought he heard Coumin’s name mentioned,
but he could not let it trouble him. He hurried to his own wagon, at the head of one of the center lines.
The horses were all nervous with the ground shaking at intervals.
His sons were already up on the seat-Willim, fifteen, with the reins, and Adan, ten, beside him,
both grinning with nervous excitement. Little Esole lay playing with a doll on top of the canvas tied
over their possessions-and, more important, their charges from the Aes Sedai. There was no room
for any to ride but the young and the very old. A dozen rooted chora cuttings in clay pots sat behind
the wagon seat, to be planted when they found a place of safety. A foolish thing to carry, perhaps, but
no wagon was without its potted cuttings. Something from a time long gone; symbol of a better time to come. People needed hope, and symbols.
Alnora waited beside the team, glossy black hair tumbling about her shoulders and reminding
him of the first time he saw her as a girl. But worry had etched lines around her eyes now.
He managed a smile for her, hiding the worry in his own heart. “All will be well, wife of my
heart.” She did not answer, and he added, “Have you dreamed?”
“Of no time soon,” she murmured. “All will be well, all will be well, and all manner of things
will be well.” Smiling tremulously, she touched his cheek. “With you I know it will be so, husband of
my heart.”
Jonai waved his arms over his head, and the signal rippled down the lines. Slowly the wagons
began to move, the Aiel leaving Paaren Disen.
Rand shook his head. Too much. Memories crowding together
Thank you! ⭐
thanks, Jessica =))
@@bridge4 I love the lore, and I can't wait for more from you!!
Such a great voice and content! 🤩
There are so many similarities with the song of ice and fire
Well done!
Janduin was not following the Way of the Leaf when he left for the blight. The man who ran him through was Luc, brother of Tigraine. He looked so much like Janduin's dead wife he would not raise his spear to defend himself.
That mountain range is so square it looks like a zone boundary in an MMO.
If you have not read the books, they aren't doing to bad with it.
If you are a fan, eh
How do you decide how much info to give and when is it too many spoilers?
While I think you may have skirted the line a bit lol I don’t think that without more context it will spoil anything major to any new fans.
Where do you draw the line in the info to give?
That would stress me out
i figure anyone who is interested in history and lore is at least open to minor spoiler. but where to draw the line is a tough call. i actually went further in this one than i had originalled planned in terms of mentioning galad and janduin. but i had to mention janduin since he was the leader of the aiel war, and since the focus of the video is on the war rather than family trees, i suspect that some people may not make a connection that is implied in this video. and i specifically cut the ending right as it goes into a really cool plot twist. but the twist is impossible to deduce for the words in the video.
but yeah, its stressful. bc everyones opinion of what is spoilery vs non differs, and i dont want to ruin the reading or watching experience for anyone
there are some videos ive been working on where i already scripted in very explicit spoiler warnings. but unfortunately, when people click on videos, hear the spoiler warning, then click off, its basically telling the algorithm to not recommend the video to anyone. so my goal is to try to make it clear in the titles of videos that are geared towards book readers so that only they click on it, elsewise, the video will forever be effed with the algorithm
(granted, sometimes, that makes sense). so unfortunately, i often screw a lot of hard work by making videos where i mention spoiler warning right away, and then the video is screwed lol
and thanks for the kind words, ser!
Are you going to do reviews for Halo or Netflix´s Sandman?
Halo as in the game? or there is a show coming out? which station?
i havent read Sandman (yet). but i am definitely planning on watching it. and ill produce content if i either read first and learn it and have ideas to share.
do you know if it has an official release date yet or is it still just 2022?
@@bridge4 Halo the show, looks amazing, Paramount truly went all in.
Re Sandman, Netflix only post a 2022 date along with shows like Stranger Things or the Witcher Prequel, it wrapped in the Summer, so maybe in the Summer of 22.
word. i'm not too well versed in Halo since i was never a gamer (outside of Ocarina of Time, GoldenEye, Witcher 3, and Last of Us). a show like that is probably going to have thousands of people covering it. so ill definitely be watching it, but doubt i'll be entering the discuss (unless i read some of the books i bought over the years lol. i may get addicted if i do that)
i aveguely recall the Sandman trailer looking awesome tho. pumped for that, stranger things, and witcher prequel =))
@@bridge4 well, i know of two shows that you´re definitely covering, the juggernauts of 2022, House of the Dragon and Lord of the Rings :)
100% =))
Plus it was only four clans of the aiel not even the whole country
i know right. the wetlanders would've had no shot. the Aiel are too gnarly =))
gitara was not the keepr when tigraine left to the aiel waste for what I remember, she was at that time the advicer of the kingdom
Give us all the lore!!!!!!!!🤗🤓
hey Mrs Duncan the Small. hope you are having a great holiday season =))
I have a question please : Can I read book two right after finishing the first season Or do I have to read the first book and the prequel ?
***Book 2 or Book 1 after Season 1***
Book 1 has a lot of stuff in it that Season 1 did not.
It'll feel similar, but there are a lot of differences (you meet Min much earlier. and her visions are different and very important) =))
***New Spring (prequel)***
the prequel was published after book 10, so that's the safest place to read it. and i've seen some fans state such. i've never been able to figure out why though. the prequel is relatively safe after book 1. the reason you wouldn't want to read it first is because Moiraine is new to the kids and the reader in book 1. so we dont know yet if she's good or bad since the kids are scared of her and have doubts (as we saw throughout season 1 as well). and if you read the prequel first, it's pretty clear that she's a good guy. so that's the main reason you want to read the prequel after book 1 (or after having watched season 1)
but there's a new type of darkfriend introduced in both book 2 as well as the prequel. and personally, i think it'll be a more fun reading experience to learn about that type of darkfriend in book 2. so i'd recommend saving the prequel until after book 2
some fans say after book 7, since you meet a character in the prequel that doesnt appear until book 7. but im not sold on that. so apologies if i am wrong, but i think after book 2 is safe
*****
no matter what you choose, enjoy te ride =))
I think you could probably skip them. The only things of importance missing from the show I can think of are the introduction of a couple of important side characters and the demonstration of Rand's power. *Minor spoilers below*
Rand meets a princess, the daughter heir of Andor when he falls into their garden along with her two brothers Gawain and Galad.

Words cannot express my gratitude for the detailed answer. Thank you so much.
I’ll be reading The Eye Of The World and go for it in order. I love everything about this world, it tickled all of my medieval fantasy turn ons, from the space time dilemmas, to light magic, to warlocks and the wolves… I think the wolves are the number one reason why I’ll be reading these series, in the first season they’ve gave me just enough to thirst for more. The wheel weaves as the wheel wills.
May the Creator's hand shelter you ! ❤️
@@oussamabsn5016 If you loved the wolfs and Perrin in the show, your going to LOVE them in the books. They are done even better in the books and with way more detail.
duuuuude. when "medieval" type fantasy has wolves, im also sold (a series with a cool wolf in it is "Farseer Trilogy." as many times as ive tried, i dont like the final book. but the first two are fun, especially because of a wolf lol
for what its worth, the time period of The Wheel of Time is supposedly Renaissance, not medieval. i'm not too well versed in the differences, but i figured i'd throw that out there in case you are smarter than I (which is likely lol)
More WOT videos!

So... the Aiel Waste is basically Death Valley, CA?
never been there, but yeah. i think thats about right with one exception ... Death Valley doesnt have massive clans of badass people running surviving on it :-P

Do most people reincarnate, near where their former die?
i dont know if i can answer that. not because of spoilers, but because I'm not sure. i'll say this though ... blood often plays a part. In book 1, there are already clues to future reveals other than Rand. I won't say who, but VAGUE SPOILER BELOW if you are interested
