Flash Longplay [2/2] Kung Fu: Remix

- Recorded sometime in 2009 for a longplays site and upped to their TH-cam channel (cubex55). We (as in, the longplays recording community, didn't have as high standards as we have today, so it's bleh quality). I re-encoded it to 720 to preserve the details.
Here's my comment from the longplay on their channel:
"This is a remake of the Nintendo 8-bit classic "Kung Fu". This remake was coded in Macromedia Flash in 2004. It was never 100% finished, as the game still has some bugs, graphic glitches etc (about 98% was finished)... but it's still a fully playable game.
I play a bit rusty and die the first time I fight Mr.X, I forgot the pattern of his colored balls :P. Not played this game in years. So... one life was needed to get through it.
At the end of the movie I added some extra clips from various things in the game, like the continue, password and jukebox screens. Also showing a cheat code. This game has 5 cheat codes, giving full health, full stamina, show jukebox, all 3 levels of the power gauge AND the final one: allowing any special to be used on any stage.
For some reason I couldn't get my recording tools to record this game in smooth fps. Doesn't matter even if I played the game in 10x10 resolution, the recording would still get jerky scrolling. But while playing the game, it's smooth... it's weird.... I've seen other people upping clips of this game here on youtube, check out their results :D... here's a couple of them:
• Kung Fu Remix Part 3
• kung fu remix プレイ動画 ステージ2 "
And now I'm adding an extra one. Someone "let's played" it :) • Lets Play Kung Fu Remi...
So, yeah, I coded this, just like the other Flash longplay I uploaded (Ruff 'n' Tumble: Mashup).
I didn't put in the timestamps back then, so, some guy (Jack Holleworth) did it instead in a comment. I'll paste that here:

What is the song where you are about to start a stage?

My favourite arcade game is now even better . Excellent

Hahahaha Battletoads music, TMNT boss music…. Dude this IS. A jewel 💎
8:05 I never knew you could do that!
just looked at this longplay again and for some reason it has sound delay. I'm 100% sure it didn't have sound delay when I first uploaded it and watched it. TH-cam must have done something to it some time after that, meh.
Here's my Kung Fu animation parts:

0:27: Game Start and DANGER INCOMING!!!
Never understood why there wasn't a decent follow up to this game by official sources.
Item did a sequel but only released in Japan as Spartan X 2. Translated Roma exist for it out there.

Yo lo he jugado y termine perdiendo
en que pagina estaba este juego?

I can tell you really liked TMNT4 for the Snes lol, is the music from the first stage an original theme by you, or is it from somewhere else?
No music by me, just from other games. I think I mostly used music from arcade games, like Turtles, King of Fighters etc.

I used to love this game. The first stage music is still a banger, wonder where it's from? I know all the rest of the music is mainly from Ninja Turtles.
Yeah, and I don't know myself as it's been too long. Most of them where from arcade games (like Turtles you mentioned), some were from SNES, like the ultimates were from that spiderman game, whatever the title was... EDIT: Maximum Carnage was the title. I'm sure if you go to some gaming or retro gaming section of reddit and ask, you'll get the name of the game of the level 1 music.
I did some digging and found out what games the music are from, I posted them in a new comment and pinned it.

Is the game offline?
I'm curious to test it!
Yup, not online anymore. Main reason is browsers stopped supporting Flash games.
@@iamironclaw Oh! it was made with Flash. OK. I understand.
Too bad. It looked really fun...
Where download
Nowhere. Download has not been available for many years since the Flash Player was stopped being used by browsers.
@@iamironclaw Can I get the file?
@@JeremyOpIt's long gone. I would have to dig out the source code and reinstall the program for it, and remove copy-protection code so it can run from a hard drive and then compile it into a new .exe file (or Flash file). Too much work so won't. Sorry.
