I believe the last glitch occurs because the animation of moving icicles in the editor spawns so much new “entities” (the tilting icicle, the water drops), and they just didn’t take in account that people would move them in such large quantity, so the game overloads and crashes.
Yeah, i think the game now dislikes loading more than 500 objects/sprites loaded at once at the same time... 😅
It's because the game has many objects with animations rendered in causing the game to crash
The glitch with the enemies getting stuck in place is really cool! I love it!

@@lekakyoin2984 It's quite simple. Place a Cheep Cheep and a Yoshi Egg in the Night Forest theme, then have Yoshi eat the Cheep Cheep.

maybe because they're 2 tile wide? So it makes the game think there's twice the amount?
@@Spazticious9591 It's probably the amount of entities being rendered. You have one for each icicle (it needs to have an entity to wiggle smoothly like that) and then several more for each icicle (the water droplets) and the game is not very fond of rendering more than 500 entities, thus, the game would crash.
Honestly, these gliches make this game slot more interesting than it already is, not that its boring though
So, we know that you shouldn't drink 621 cans of Sprunk in San Andreas Definitive Edition, now we know you musn't try to move 286 icicles in Super Mario Maker 2.

If I were to guess, I’d say that the crash was caused from the fact that moving icicles causes them to drip/shake. This means that the game would have to load over 500 objects at once. Leading to the crash.

First time I hear the castle version of Yoshi drums in New Super Mario Bros U.
Are NSMBU castle levels with Yoshi that rare?
Can the game only be crashed by moving lots of icicles, or does it work with other objects?
There's no castle levels in NSMBU with Yoshis in them; The accompanying Yoshi drums are original to the Super Mario Maker games, much like the music and assets for Super Mario Bros.' Ghost House, Airship, Forest, Snow, Sky and Desert themes.

Its most likey, at one point, Yoshi would have appeared at least on one jungle level in the entire game. 😅
they made a good decision when they said they'd stop adding major updates to mario maker 2

Icicles trully are aliens in the SMM2 world. They aren't considered enemies and thus, don't increment the entities limit. They also affect Blooper RNG just by being here (I made an auto level a while ago, with a Blooper, it was working well, and simply putting Icicles at the end completely changed Blooper movements even thought they were very far away !)
And adding to that, they apparently have their own limit which is huge (more than 286). Most elements with a separate limit like Bowser, Bowser Jr., Boom Boom, Snake Blocks or Koopalings have like 7 max per section. xD Finally, before a certain update, they were global grounds which is a unique and rare property.
