265 and 266 are my favorites... But you already know how much I love Grizzles! I was given a pied grizzle dark checker YB from one of the guys in my racing club and immediately thought of you! 🤣 And the bird has the broadest chest I've ever felt on a bird that young.
whines quietly in vertigo and budget... well... you know i'll still be around next season, one hopes with a budget suitable to getting some of these beauties in my loft! (seriously one of my best pairs i couldnt get a band on the best chick because i missed the window) right now i need to re home before i can get more... (even assuming i had the funds)

Hard to say what is going on with limited info. How many pairs? Are you certain you have equal number males and females? Are the hens getting enough calcium and other minerals? Those are the things I’d check. Best wishes!!

It seems to me that nearly every grizzle I handle is well muscled…wonder if there is a genetic component with grizzle

Always so frustrating when I miss a band on a youngster 😢 Last year I missed two.
