UPDATE 3-2023- If your using external amp, there is issue with volume control. Apparently their working on it, but who knows how long that will take. Stock, and stock B&O Amp works without issues.

Install was pretty straight forward, very minor hiccups along the way.
Instructions were pretty good, just followed their TH-cam video instructions and had no problem installing. They have 3 videos step 1 to 3.

Great video. Best car stereo replacing sync 3 on my f150. Everything works fine, boot time is very fast. E10 retains all functions on my vehicle.

I brought one 3 weeks ago! They had to upgrade the software, I have a 6 speed Manuel. But it works great and look stock! 2016 mustang!

Thats great, send Yulu a message to see if sub issue was resolved, last year they had a issue with volume control for sub wasnt working properly, barely getting sound. I dont have one to test, so before you do I would just double check so you dont waste money on one for now

Best video for this unit by far. Thank you! I currently have a linkswell gen 4. I began with a Phoenix px6 and that was a nightmare. I have years of experience installing car audio and right off the bat I knew that unit was defective. The kept stringing me along so I decided to return it before my 30 days were up. Then went with the linkswell gen 4. Yes much more money and I hated losing my physical ac controls. The first unit had a defect with the ac controls. All protocols were set properly. Exchanged it and the 2nd one worked properly. I've had it over a year and it's running Sergey's firmware. I have it connected to a dsp before my audio control amp. I have it sounding pretty good but it just has never sounded as good as the Sony sync 3 did attached to my aftermarket amp. The E10 has optical output, I've heard it has great sound regardless of the optical output. I'm eager to get back my HD radio stations. I detest the audacy app. I truly hope this is an upgrade from my current setup. You're right, these units are way overpriced and I'm not happy at all spending this kind of money again, but I hope to sell my Gen 4 and recover some money. The E10 firmware looks more polished and the 8 core cpu plus more ram must be felt when compared to my unit.
Yes you are correct, I believe for the specs this unit runs pretty smooth, and i haven't had experience with any of the other radios aside from extensive reviews I read and watched before I decided on the E10, and am very happy with my decision so far. Although im not a big sound guy, I do believe the sound this thing produces is quite good, and definitely comparable to what I had with stock B&O sound system. I also found a setting to increase the stock amp output which made it even louder with more bass. Overall im happy, few quirks I worked out, and hoping it stays this way. Let me know if you have any common issue, if something I already experienced I might be able to help. The last issue I had was the front camera setting was not sticking after the radio being off 20 minutes or more, I do not want it to automatically open every time my car stops or slows down to 4 mph, it was getting annoying. I just installed a mcu update which hopefully fixed the issue and it worked like stock front camera where I can push the camera button on demand as long as im below 8mph as this is controlled by factory ECU and no workaround. I guess tomorrow morning I will know if this fixed it or not, but even with that im happy.

@@rey_1178 ill know tomorrow morning for sure being off overnight, before it only took 20 minites and 360 camera settings would revert back, wierd only that one app, no other issues like that.
@@rey_1178 This seems to have fixed my problem, no more auto opening when i disable the setting, and my button works on demand like stock.
@@TecYimBroke man so far I have a lot of issues. Today when I get home I need to start with finding the correct wire that'll turn on my amp. Once I get sound going and I hope it's good, I have others to hammer out. I finally got android auto to connect and it's a small screen. Also they claimed I'd get back HD radio since I was putting back the parts of the oem radio yet I don't see how the HD channels can be accessed from their radio app. I hope these issues can be hammered out.
So one drawback at the moment I found out is regarding the FordPass app. So if you have forpass already setup and install this radio it will work good. However as of rite now if your installing fordpass on a new phone or need to reauthorise ford pass on a phone there is no way to do this. The manufacturer advised they are working on a popup request from fordpass, they are trying to access the data required to make this possible for future update.

Sorry if you answered this already... I have a 2018 F250 XLT with sync 3, and have been contemplating this purchase for a while. Can the YULU be added to your cell phone provider with a SIM to be on the cellular network, or is this like all the other aftermarket head units where it is Hotspot only? How hard is it to add the SIM (if can be put on cellular network) after install?

I use youtube quite often for helpful videos with various tasks that have greatly helped me accomplish things, So I figure I could help others by simply offering some of my knowledge which can help someone else.
And for your question, yes it supports 4g services. I use it on my Verizon plan as a tablet addon, the best way is to either have a active tablet sim card, or activate it with another compatible tablets sim card then just insert it into the radio which comes with adapter sim card slot. The IMEI # from the radio itself is not recognized by Verizon so that's why you need another IMEI # from another device just to get the sim active. The sim card adapter that comes with the radio is not the best, and will take some fiddling to finally get it to recognize that a sim is inserted. Took me a few tries but finally got it working.

No unfortunatly it does not, it only works with a certain navigation app, I dont remember the name but its not available in U.S so it will only show compus on dash in US
I just installed mine today will be tinkering with it tomorrow one thing i can't find is control for steering wheen heater don't need it yet but hope I can figure it out by winter
If you had stock and worked fine, from homescreen click on the area above fan settings display which opens up climate menu, then up top scroll to right and you will see heated steering wheel icon, I did notice sometimes when you press it doesnt seem like it activates but mine does, most times lights up normal

Hello, its a hit or miss, some people had to replace because the quality was low, but they will send you a free upgrade if needed, and also I have a video on how to run cable to the rear of the truck like i did for the trunk release, same process, pretty easy.

Hello, one of the holes is reset button, and the other is internal microphone. Yes you click on climate screen and can scroll to the heated steering wheel

I would love to talk to you about wiring. I have a fully loaded 2017 Raptor and can’t seem to get 360/reverse cameras or CarPlay working.
Click on Apps from homescreen, select Car Settings app, scroll to Vehicle selection and make sure you have F150 Sync 3 selected and not F150 B&O. Once selected and saved, wait 1 minute them restart the radio, see if this changes anything.

Do you get to keep the Wifi that is provided in the truck and does the Apple CarPlay load up automatically or do you have to click the app in order to load it up every time?
So the cell service is not accesible through the radio, you would have to add the radio itself to your account and need new sim card for it. I got it on my verizon account as a tablet and its $10 a month on my plan. And once you setup apple car play initially your phone should automatically launch it each time as it did this with my android auto, but I do not use it as I have all android features I need on radio so i turned that off. I would recommend buying from amazon of you do for the ease of return in case it doesnt work out for you.
got my self one and already installed, back up camera needs to be replaced its not compatible on my 2015 f150 xlt. also all of the units are sold out at amazon. so far i like it.
Awesome, yeah it been 1 week since I installed it, I love it so far. Very few minor things i didnt like definitely is outwayed but all the features this offers. Yeah I read multile comments different sites that state stock backup camera if you dont have 360 in your truck needs to get updated, but good thing they send it to your for free.

I had a nano simcard that was never activated from another phone.
I called verizon told them i had a tablet i need to activate. The device IMEI will not recognize so you will gave to use anothe imei from a tablet either old one you have laying around or verizon moght be able use a random one like they did for mine just to trick their system to activate simcard. Been using it for about 4 days works flawless.
I like having the Navigation on my truck on full screen. I haven't seen anyone comment about what the E10 option is for viewing the Apple Maps? Can the map be displayed to expand the entire screen?
@joenowaczyk2944 im not sure about apple maps since ive never used it, but on the device itself whatever navigation you select as your default it can be viewed in full screen mode or split screen with whichever other application your using.
Great video, helped me a ton! Today I installed it on my 2018 F150 raptor. It seems working ok.
Minor issues so far;
- 4g sim detected, connected.. but no internet. Provider is sending a new simcard. Hopefully this works.
- Auto opening cams at low speeds. I Cannot find any settings to disable this. Very frustrating!!
- Volumebar missing for audio.
- speed and fuel in miles. Cant switch to kilometers.
- button frontend camera not working.
hello, glad most of its going good, send me your email, I have a file you can flash that should help fix most of that, for the volume bar. Open the car settings app from app list, and turn on High with meter control option, this will resolve that.

Hello, awesome, its great radio, hope it works out for you like it did for me. Couple things you can try quick. From home screen click Apps up top, then find the "Car Settings App" Once in there scroll down till you see Sirius Switch, click on it and Turn on, next scroll to either "Switch 6" or Auto Parking, click on that and click On, then "Switch 5" or Memory eq, Turn On. Then reset your radio by pulling down the top menu and click reset. Let radio fully load, then try out xm radio. if these do not fix the issue, then its something simple programming wise,

Can you insert the SIM card after install, or do you need to take the dash back off if you don’t install the sim at time of install?
The sim card tray is connected with a cable and the tray itself is placed in your glovebox during install so you can access it anytime.
I just put in the same E10 unit in a '16 F150 Plat. Noticed that your weather also is defaulting to Dongguan as well. I had to do a factory reset to get it to then use my location. Front camera worked out the gate on mine, but the 360 camera view is definitely a bit different now. The outline of the truck from the overhead view seems to have a border around it that obscures a bit of it. Have you noticed this too?
Mic quality was also horrible from both the built in unit and the included mic. Ordered an Enfig mic to replace the factory one and hoping that improves it. Also lost folding mirror options, but that can be changed with Forscan. Having the larger screen and carplay was worth it, though I do wish it were a higher resolution screen.
Nice man hope you enjoy, still going good for me. Weather, haha never noticed that its fine now prob after i configurated all my information. Yeah I had to do some workaround get 360 going. The truck outline is actually normal, that black border is there on stock as well just smaller screen so not as visible. I had no problem with folding mirror, my stuck. And screen resolution not the best but definitely enjoy more than stock.

Hello! Did you have to run the separate line for the tailgate release and camera or would your camera work without it?
Hi, you do have to run a seperate line for the trunk release. Stock camera you do not need to run a line, only time you need to run for camera is if its a third party camera.

Usually with issue like this, you probably will have to install the audio box that came with unit. Should be wiring instructions included, simple addon, then u gotta enable it in car settings.

How is brightness at night. Does it go into night mode like the oem screen or does it stay bright?
Good question, I havent really been paying attention as it has not bothered me, ill have to see next time I drive at night if it automatically adjusts, as there are no visible sensors on the screen itself so only way is if it taps into Ford sensors.
before I buy this unit, it says that it has stereo outputs. Are they buried in the harness or are they hard mounted to the radio? I see the spif connector on the back of the radio, but not the rca jacks! I wanna add an amp for subs to increase bass. Also buried in the settings is there a seperate bass adjustment setting in the eq? Thanks if u can answer these questions.
Good question. Now that you mention it, I don't recall seeing RCA jack, but definitely AV connections. I really dont want to take apart dash to check, but if I end up having to do it for some reason, Ill fill you in. I dont use any after market amps, stock B&O enough for me, I usually play on lower volume anyways.

We had conversed on here a couple of weeks ago after I bought and installed this unit.
I have a couple of questions for you.
I have a 2017 F-150 Platinum with almost all available options including 360 cameras, massaging seats etc...
I'm having a couple of problems
One is how do I get the sound to work on the media for Bluetooth for my smart phone to stereo music etc? When I get a call there's no sound as well ?
The other big one is that I went to an At&t store and got a Data only sim card that they activated using the info from the stereo that I gave them and it still says, no sim card detected and offline ?
Is there a way to make that work correctly via setting or something?
My back up camera does not work while backing up but does work via that annoying screen that comes on while slowing down every single time .
Is there a way to get the OEM back off camera to work ?
One last thing is as mentioned, the screen going to the cameras when you slow down to a light etc.. every single time you hit the breaks and slow down almost to a stop etc...
That is a pain in the butt for sure as well.

Thanks for checking in. I had sent my email address to you and never saw anything from you ? I ended up having to install the Audio Box as I had no sound when trying to play music etc.. from my smart phone . Now I have to conquer the sim card not working correctly and when making and receiving calls the people on the other end can't hear me and I am unable to leave a voicemail as the people's voicemail system said voice not detected? I was hoping to not have to run the physical mic wire etc.. but may have no choice.
They (Yulu support) sent me a couple of new SIM card holders and cables to install of which I am hoping works? I also may need to go back to the At&t store and use an old phone's EMEI number as I did give the person at the At&t store the EMEI (top one as there are actual two) number of the stereo and the sim card is still undetectable. They also sent me a link that is supposed to help with my back up camera not coming on while I am backing up? I'm tech savvy but not a computer wiz so downloading that into my laptop and then into the stereo will be challenging I'm sure? I really like and need that feature as now when I back up, the screen goes black with just guidelines ! Very annoying as the back up camera actually works in the mode (which is annoying to me) where you see the 360 view on the screen when slowing down or just starting out ? That's an important feature that I need taken care of. I have a 2017 F-150 Platinum and literally all available features other than park assistance. Thus, I have the 360 camera and all luxury features even messaging seats etc..
Now I don't have a back up camera! Lol
Nonetheless, still working on getting all features up and running but still no Navigation because the sim card won't work, no back up camera view when backing up and no voice when making phone calls. It was roasting hot hear where I live for quite a while so working on removing, wiring and reinstalling the stereo the multiple times I have was not pleasant to say the least because you can't run the AC while doing so. Plus, each time you remove all you have the risk of scratching the dash, center console and so on. Just very annoying and disappointing to not have all just work period as I installed all exactly how it should be and now still have to remove and work on it again .

Hello, yes within a couple days, this was an isolated incident with the 360 camera harness that came with my radio.

Hello, I have not had any major issues. Just had minor software issues which simply deleting and reainstalling certain apps, and restarted the radio fixed them, as far as hardware I have not encountered any issues.
Great video just ordered my E10. Did they ever issue a update to fix your front camera. I have a 18 f150 with 360camera and I don't want to install mine if they haven't.

Yes it does, and it is enabled by default
Like Mer Din said it does but I got rid of it. Since it's always on it would do random things. I assume it was hearing things from listening to the radio itself like playing podcast and so on.

Go into the settings then apps and check make sure it has location permission enabled, otherwise it will block app to satelite access
I have been thinking of getting a unit like this, I like this one because it retains the havoc buttons. If you do not want to do the tailgate function, do you need to run a cable to the tailgate? Do you need to run the cable for the reverse backup camera? Also how has been the performance? I appreciate you making this original video. This would be for my 2019 Harley Truck, which basically has the Plat package in it.
Hello, no if you do not want to use trunk release then you do not need to run the wire. For me it performs well, im comparing it to other android units ive had preveiously which were quite a bit slower. You cannot expect it to run as smooth as top android tablets, but does fairly decent for the specs. I love it since I have youtube premium and that is how I listen to all my music video's, I rarely use radio or other music apps. I also use netflix and youtube tv for travel, works great, but you have to sideload netflix app fairly easy to do by apk download through browser.

Yes sir, button is digital on screen under climate control once you click on it near bottom of home screen. Massage seat has to be turned on under car settings app.

So to do this from home screen, click on Apps, then find "Car Settings" app. Once in there is usually like the 3rd option down. Most units it will say "high with meter switch" some might be worded different, its the odball option prob 3rd one down. Turn that on

@@mohammedsultan3055 under apps go to car settings app, make sure under vehicle selection you have the rite sync selected, and there should be another option that seas something like Sync button make sure turn that on for ur model

Great and helpful video. I just bought this unit and have been rehearsing the instructional videos numorous times prior to tackling the installation. I have a 2017 F-150 Platinum so installation will be exactly the same as yours as you have the 360 cameras etc of which I hope they take care of the issues that have been found.
I also have auto climate control that I believe I will be losing which is a great option as it literally heats or cools the vehicle to whatever a comfortable climate is within the truck when you remote start the vehicle including heated steering wheel.
That I will miss big time but having the bigger screen is what we all want as the stock 8" was out of date when the trucks came out hense why the new ones now have 12" stock screens.
I wanted to ask if you have found any sites that make a screen protector for this unit ?
When I first bought my truck I immediately bought a tempered glass screen protector of which not only protects the screen from wear but the tempered glass feels much better when using the screen.

Hello, thats great, its awesome radio, all have its flaws but the few minor things definitly does not outweigh the benefits over stock. And I do not believe you lose auto climate control, your whole climate module is moved over. My truck still has my cooling seats and ac running in hot weather. Obviously cant test the heat part as its not cold enough to auto activate it on remote start, but I believe that will work as well as this is controlled by the climate control module and not the radio api module, but I guess time will tell this winter.

@@steved8563 hello, for backup camera first thing you can check is under apps open up the car settings app and make sure back view is turned on. Unfortunately the next step for both is checking the wiring. Make sure the gps antenna is not cross threaded and that the little pin inside is not bent sideways and not making any contact. Hello, only thing I lost is ability to provision a new phone to the ford pass app, as long as you already have a phone setup on it then install this radio it works fine. But if you buy a new phone then you will have to temporarily plug in factory radio just to approve the popup on the screen to alow the phone connection. Other than that I have everything else including Park assist.

Hello, so theres multiple factors, make sure vehicle selection is the rite vehicle and sync version. Also make sure on your phone under the bluetooth device setting make sure phone and media is enabled. If your getting sound from radio station but nothing on bluettoh or videos, then you might have to install the included sound module. If you have that module installed, make sure option 4 is enabled under car settings app, if still nothing maybe you dont need sound module, check installation instruction with car options that came with package. it tells you exactly what needs to be installed based on sync version.
I believe you need to open the bluetooth app on the E10 and there's a tab for media streaming from phone.
My truck has wi-fi installed in it will it connect to that?
Unfortunately you lose control over the wifi settings, your wifi radio still works, but you cannot adjust or see any of the settings. In theory if you leave it on and swap out radio then it should still be on, you just cant adjust anything, and if your truck batteries dies or gets unplugged at some point that wifi might reset, and you wont have a way to turn it back on.
Could this screen be put in a 2018 ford expedition?
Hello, I dont believe so. Only Ford vehicles listed is F- Series, Everest Ranger, Mondeo, Mustang, and Explorer. Im not sure how big of a different the dash setup is between Explorer and Expedition, i'll reach out to them, and get back to you when I get a response.

Hello, I am not 100% sure on apple as I have no apple product to test, I know you can mirror android to android there are multiple apps available, maybe a app for iphone to android, check app store. Whatever your using on iphone to stream movies it might be available to download on google play store and watch it on the device itself and not have to use iphone at all

Hi, it will automatically connect as long as hotspot is enabled on your phone, I used it that way for one week, then got it added to my verizon plan.

@@Berber210 it comes with a cord that is placed in the glove compartment that has 1 usb, and it also connects to you truck stock usb plugs. On my truck I have 4 stock usb 2 in front center console and 2 in rear, then the one that comes with stereo in my glove box

Hello, Personally I love it, just got back from trip 10 hours total drive, and navigation, and TH-cam premium, running simultaneously worked flawless. I used Maps driving out, and on way back used Waze, both worked great with radio. All minor issues I had with the unit were all resolved by programming, no hardware problems yet. Now you gotta understand this is a basic tablet, its not a powerhouse android tablet like a Samsung or asus, this is meant to run baseline specs just like our stock radios, so don't expect it to jump through hoops. But what its used for I think it works great. You will need wifi connect which you can use hotspot from your phone, or subscribe and add the unit to your cellphone account like I did through Verizon 4g, and works great.

Hello, no unfortunatly the stock modem functionality is programmed into stock radio, you can either connect to hotspot off ur phone or you can add it to your cellphone account, I added it to my family plan as a tablet addon and on my plan only cost me $10 a month with discounts, you will need new simcard. Only runs on 4g network, works great with verizon coverage in my area.

No, It comes with a gps antenna that mounts under your dash top, and comes with a external Mic which is not as good quality as stock one, I contacted yulu and they sent me a free upgraded one which goes in same spot as stock mic works little better
Although there are adapters for the stock mic you can order, but I havent tried it and not sure if it will work, gps been working good, even though on google maps seas acuracy low but its spot on every time.

That is tough to answer. So personally, no I do not think any of these radios are worth the price range they are in, but that is the issue, since the market for these is so inflated, even before the past 2 years, this is the normal price.
Considering what's available in this price range, I personally think this was a very good option and choice even with minor quirks. To me its worth it just because of the main features I wanted in my truck and that is being able to watch videos, and use of android perfect for passengers and kids watching while going on trips. Overall, the radio performs well for the specs. I guess it all comes down to personal preference, I think everything is working better for me than stock, aside from Bluetooth voice quality is not as good, sound from callers sounds bit distorted, but still good enough to have clear conversation.

Under apps then car settings, there should be an option to change between miles and km, and another setting when you click on settings from home screen through that menu as well. Let me know if you cant find it I will get exact location from my radio.

@turkey4850 glad you firgure it out. Usb might be releated to the connection. There is a dedicated plug in the harness where the stock usb should be connected. Just double check make sure the rite ubs was plugged in.

Do you have B&O system? If so chose the Sync 3 setting instead and not B&O option. If you checked all connections. And restarted radio as well with no changes. Contact Yulu rite through facebook messenger, usually take 12 hours to respond. Or you can call them but hard to understand unless you speak Chinese

@@davidhoydic7068 as far as im aware, yes it should keep same id because the audio unit is kept intact during install. As far as the upgrades go im not sure on that since I have not used sirius xmuch aside from when i had free trial.

Hi, your video is really helpful. I installed the radio and it was working good. The sound is good if it is xm radio or fm radio. When I use Bluetooth, apps, TH-cam etc. the sound is distorted and really low. I connected the audio box. I thought it was the wiring so they sent me additional wiring. I redid everything and the sound is still muffled and low. If I disconnect the audio and barely touch the connect lets the sound is as it should be and a little distorted but louder. Once I connect it is low and muffled. Any ideas? I followed your comments and changed vehicle but still the same. You seem to know a lot about the radio so I thought I would try to ask.
Hello, that is a bit odd. Are you getting bad audio by playing things off your phone only including projecting you tube sound through bluetooth or actually getting issue through youtube app on radio itself? I only get a little poor quality on bluetooth calls, other than that works same for everything else.
Thanks for the reply. It is anytime I use Bluetooth (Apple Music, Spotify, TH-cam etc). It worked when I had it installed then stopped. Sound with the xm app or radio are perfect.
@BryanBohanan-qp7pv this definitely sounds software related. Go to apps menu, click car settings and check following. Usually 3rd option down, High with meter control switch. Turn on. 2. Like #17 Sync button tone, turn on. 3. #28 usually, memory eq turn on. Now go back to apps menu from home screen. Click original car audio. In there reset to default settings. Now from taskbar pull down menu click reset. After reset let me know if any difference.

How’s the volume? Some of these are low in volume.
For me, volumes been great, I usually do not listen to high volume music but had it turned up and its quite loud with the b&o ford system. I did however have to spend some time messing with equalizer to get it to my likings.

Hello, yes everything is working. If you have the B&O sound system, in Car Settings App under vehicle selection, make sure to select Sync 3 and not the B&O option. Give couple minutes after selection then restart the radio by pulling down the top menu.

I just put this in 2 days ago, I haven't been able to get the sim card that I put in to be recognized. Any help would be fantastic.
Is it nanno sim card size?, did you use the adapter that came in the sim tray? Its a little work to get it to sit just rite in the adapter so it properly touches the connectors, once you think its in there properly then restart the radio.
@@TecYimBroke yeah, it's reading it now, but it still says I'm offline. I just got the SIM card yesterday, I may need to contact my provider to see if it's activated.
@@calebcloud3577 yes you are correct you have to call and activate once you recieve a new sim card. In case if they cant recognise the imei # from the radio, make sure tell them its a tablet and might need to use a dummy imei or from another device just to activate sim. Good after that

Yes, no restrictions while driving. Just follow installation videos, and you should be good, might run into few common issues like most of us experienced, but easy fixes for most like 360 camera issues, sound, volume. Going on almost 3 months now, and love it.

@@justindavis6888 ahhh ok, so when you get to part in vehicle settings app, under vehicle selection, dont choose sync with b&o option, just choose whatever sync # you have as its not programmed properly and causes issues with cameras, also if you dont like the auto front camera activation when your coming to a stop, and turning it off in settings for most of us did not stick after radio being off 30 minutes it just turned back on, I got a fix for it if needed. If setting works then your all set

I havent used it recently because its an android unit that has alot more than android autos limitation, I really found it pointless.

@@sghitza1 No, none of their apps are in play store, you gotta email them for any updates they send you the app apk file, and some apps you can check for updates directly from app. Yeah yhe only thing is you might have to open the launcher each time u turn on radio, and it stays during that session, I use theirs, so I havent really messed around with trying set a different launcher as permenant one, but im sure theirs gotta be a way so it default each time radio turns on

Hello, factory reset will remove all settings and some configurations apps from Yulu.
Go to settings then system, then reset factory. Code is 7890. But contact Yulu via email service@yuluautomotive.com so they can send you proper configuration after reset.

@@lezhaaa1 yeah it will be grayed out until it detects sim, are you using the adapter that came with sim tray? I had to trim my sim very slightly to get it inside the adapter, if it sticks out wont sit properly on contacts, try messing with that and each time you got it just restart radio to check, i had to do mine like 3 times and finally got it. Make sure sim tray is also connected in back of screen

hello, yes everything is working within 1 week of installing I had everything working properly, its all-configuration issues since this is a complex programing system so it can access all ford features. I had to install some configuration updates they sent me.
My Google maps stays in day time mode even if I set it to dark mode full time! Iv been trying to work with them on this and front camera. Sure love to get they update files they sent you!

Hi Mike, no I did not have that issue, are you accesing it through media screen then radio? Pull down menu from top of screen, click clear memory, then again pull down and click restart. Try it again after system starts up

Also check switch 4 is off if ur not using audio card, try changing vehicle selection, then change it back, I fixed most my initial issues messing with settings, I believe at first some dont stick or take a bit to go into affect. And yes I did get and update last month as well mcu file update which they fixed my front camera setting always turning back on even though i shut off auto front camera, was getting annoying. As of today I have no operating issues, only thing I noticed is the weather on the launcher little display above the vehicle shows totally different temp and forecast than the acurate one once you click on it and it opens weather app.
@@TecYimBroke My connection on my 21 F250 is square so the audio card will not work for me it has a flat rectangle connection I am assuming that the older models had. I will try the switch 4 tomorrow. I have a camera in my cab lights aimed at the bed and the camera button doesn’t work so I can’t change camera views. Really appreciate the help.

@@quancyteal4423 thats usually not controlled by the radio itself, your vehicle has to provide power to the radio while in accesory mode, did your stock radio have power in acc mode?
If so then you might have blown a fuse, check your fuses, there should be 2 different fuses that feed power to radio, one is the regular ignition and acc. Prob blown fuse
So before I installed this unit I was able to press the volume button at anytime and my radio would work. Now that the volume button is no longer there, I was asking if you could turn this unit on without starting the truck or at least turning the turn on as if you were starting it.
@@quancyteal4423 yeah accesory power should turn radio on just like your stock radio, when you turn the ignition to acc or on position without turning truck on. If this is no longer working then it could be a blown fuse. There is at least 2 fuses for the radio. One for constand ignition, and another for accesory only. Check make sure acc fuse is good

Did not need the audio box, and they sent me an upgraded mic which replaces the factory one.
@merda85n I need help and the customer service is just ignoring me... I have no audio whatsoever... installed in my 2018 ford f150 raptor...tried both with and without the audio box... customer service told me to remove the audio box but still no sound.
@Alphabreed2121 Check and make sure none of your pins are bent on the connectors. From home screen click on apps. Then car settings app. Then go to vehicle selection and chose f150 Sync 3 option, do not use b&o. Then after about a minute, pull down menu from top and click reset. Wait for everything to load up and test it out. This was my original issue when I hooked it up.

@Alphabreed2121 go back into car settings and vehicle selection, choose sync 2 save, then back in choose sync 3 again, then reset radio. If this doesnt work I got another fix for it

No, I have the 360 cameras in mine, but based on some reviews users did replace because of poor quality if you do not have the 360 system, the seller will send you one free if this is the case.

Yes, it works good, only thing its not immediately on the homescreen u have to click on the climate control panel on bottom of homescreen and it opens up full climate menu.

@Mer Din also you know when you drag the screen down. They have the brightness and a volume button. That volume button come back to zero no matter how far I drag it. It just goes back to zero

I wanted to make mention that I just got the new Samsung Z-Fold 4 for the Fold 3 and the Ford Pass app is very simple to implement to use with the new phone.
You just need to use your credentials that you used to first enable using the Ford pass app such as email and password etc.
I am very happy that still works as well as the auto climate feature as I had looked at getting other big screen units and most did not allow that feature any longer.
That is huge when auto starting in the winter and summer.
I just really need the back up camera to work of which the maker engineer of whom has been awesome in regards to communication sent me a download to load into the unit but I am a bit confused on how to exactly do that.

lol, thats just the location settings for the android radio, does not work for the sync modem installed in the truck. Still no fix, but there is absolutely no need for it as I have been using google find my device which tracks where the truck is, and awesome feature god forbit it somehow gets stolen. Does not affect the FordPass app at all even though it shows my location as antarctica on the fordpass app haha.
