- Carrie bursts out at first as Mr Big comes into her life whenever he wants , but then in Paris ,she understands that he has changed and she is with him again...
this is my favorite scene so far, when she says "you and I nothing!!!" is so epic because, she waited a lot from him for so many years, and he even got married with another woman, she just couldnt take it anymore

@@Crazygurl1211 I think it came from her profound need to fill the space in her heart. She is a serial monogamist and is completely incapable of being single. Even if she is, she is dating someone casually.
When she had the Russian, she didn't want Big anymore. But as soon as things with The Russian went south, she went out looking to fill the slot in her heart again.
Idk if this is a west thing, but honestly most characters in most sitcoms are serial daters. They get out of a long term marriage or relationship and simply jump into a new one. They don't even take an year off for themselves, to enjoy life and explore things. They just dive back in the pool even if they get widowed.
Love it when she says it: “It’s never different. It’s six years of never being different” she demonstrates how love can be: rude and selfish but, at the same time, beautiful, in front of the eyes of the right one.
@BlackCatNightmare But the thing is, Carrie was in love with Big. She didn't feel the same way for Aiden that she did for Big, regardless of how much nicer Aiden treated her. Carrie has unconditional love for Big, she clearly didn't for Aiden... You can't force yourself to love someone, no matter how good they are to you.
I was soooo happy for her when she finally stood up to him, he's always tried to come between her and who ever her significant other was at the moment....GOO CARRIE!!!!!
I don't know how realistic this ending is, because in reality Big wouldn't have come back around. He would have continued to string Carrie along or just end up marrying some other 20-something girl. But I do like the way this is written. Big didn't just settle for Carrie, he genuinely realized that she was the one for him and only wanted her. He had only REALLY wanted her all along, it just took a bunch of screwups for him to realize it. They were still happily together at the beginning of the first movie, four years after this moment, and the movies show that Big truly did see Carrie as the love of his life.

You can just see the look on Big's face when he hugs her.... That "OMG I almost lost her look", he really loves her in that moment and can't bear the thought of losing her.
DAMN...that "I DONT LIVE HERE ANYMORE" was profound...she's basically saying, the old Carrie is gone and you lost out buddy! And when Big says "It TOOK ME A LONG TIME TO GET HERE.." we know what he means...6 fucking years!
SO BEAUTIFUL! I WILL LOVE THESE TWO CHARACTERS FOREVER!

I can literally watch this ALLLLLL day long. I think she deserves every award ever invented for this part!!!!! I love her soo much, (character ) i love " You and I NOTHING"... Heck, I love the whole scene.

i couldn´t agree more with Carrie. He was playing her over. He thought that he could have her anytime back. That was not ok. She had to say these things so that he could realize that no one must be taken for granted Once he realize that, he can really enjoy her presence and they can be happy :-)

I remember when in first season of SATC, Carrie wanted to hear from Big, that she's the one, but at that moment it was impossible for him... It took him six years to say it, but it was worth to wait for " Carrie you're the one" which was said straight from his heart. Carrie and Big - perfect movie couple ever! :)
I always thought this and the second movie cemented why they were meant to be. After putting her self on the line and him fucking up royally. They both grew up, figured their shit out and made it work. I personally would never want a relationship like theirs mainly because that shit was just way too much drama but I do love the ending

No matter what she said, it was always all about Big for her. She could get engaged to Aiden, tell Berger she loved him, move to Paris with Aleksandr...but in the end, the MOMENT Big decided she was the one, she fell right into his arms and was his forever.

Not a good example. You and I nothing...yeah. And later on she marries him. Love, hurt, jealousy, betrayal, conflict, forgiveness are part of life and relationships. One of my friends went through so much with her ex and later on when things started fading away she deeply regretted the fact that she didn’t stay with him because they have a child together. It’s hard. When we are young we dream of these perfect lives just to realize later on how difficult and complicated life is. we all make mistakes.

u know big loves Carrie, but he messed with her for years. for whatever reason. what I want to know.....is why in the hell, If u love someone so much as big loves Carrie? why in the hell would he mess with her mind? was messing with her mind a fun game for him? I have this exact same relationship with a guy I know and it makes me wish they hadn't gotten together in the end. After a little less then a year and a half I cut this guy out and took Carrie 6 years?!?! Come on. I wish I could say these things to my guy.

there are many moments during the series where i hate Big ... especially when he was with Natasha and Carrie was with Aiden. but when you think about everything that's happened between them, and this scene ... they belong together
I love Carrie finally saying enough is enough with Big's BS. I wish they had not put them together at the end because that's not the way that would go for an egomaniac like him, but it's great to see Carrie setting healthy boundaries.
