I got a bunch of these after I saw them on here. I love it. Makes everything look clean and neat. Helps organize the wires for my stereo builds I’ve been doing
I go through a TON of it, I just used 2 rolls today! I've been going over a bunch of wires under the hood of the Wrangler to shield them from the heat.
does anyone know the name of the tape used in engine compartment ? It's black, thin plastic, not cloth, barely sticky , barely reusable. I don't know, maybe it's reusable, and maybe a little sticky if fairly new, but not after many, or several years. it doesn't make a gooey mess. I think it's a little thinner than typical electrical tape, and I think it doesn't stretch as much.
I know the tape you're talking about, but have no idea what it's called or who makes it. Hopefully someone else here will know. Thanks for watching though!
the good tesa stuff doesnt tare ..dont get cheap stuff... Real Tesa tape will cost you about $10 a roll... Why people go cheap with this is beyond me... do it once and do it the correct way...Me personally I would use fiberglass wound and weaved Split loom ...Then wrap it with tesa Especially when it's near the engine

Glad I found this since I needed something for a few wiring harness I'm making for some Audi vehicles
That seems like some really cool stuff. I need to get some to try
This stuff is great!
I see you use that all the time I need to get some....
I need to start ordering it in bulk!
Would these work inside a car engine bay to wrap the wires etc??

Can I use this tape on a char griller to seal any spacing to hold the heat inside? Will it be functional to the heat that the grill can reach?
um this is for electrical wire harnesses not for cooking
Man I always wonder what kind tape I would find on stock wires never new the name or where to get it thanks man.
Once you start using the stuff you'll never stop! Thanks for watching!
what is the temperature range?

Tesa tape is dookie, the real oem stuff is called Coroplast Tape, and you can't tear it with your hand. It's real tough stuff.
