Ive been researching the past 10 days on getting an SUV. Skoda is a make Id never thought of. I came across them when looking for 'reviews' of other makes. I have to say the Kamiq is a great car!! Looking at its quality, drive, comfort, price (of course) etc, the kamiq comes out on top! Already reaching out to buy one. :)
This video is hype. The facelift is just that. The same engines, same dimensions, same equipment, same umbrella, same ice scraper compilation tool, etc etc. The video also uses a 69 year vehicle. Overall the pre-facelift had more choice and is, at the price a half decent car, if only all the equipment worked. On mine the intermittent wipers don’t work, the media system doesn’t play MP4 videos, the ventilation system doesn’t work properly, the Drive Mode system is missing, the connection to my iPhone keeps disconnecting, and there’s more. It’s OK, about 90% OK. I’m beginning to suspect that my Skoda dealership is incapable of effectively rectifying these problems.
My 2021 Kamiq works properly. I can play MP4 from an iPod and Android Auto works fine. Small problems were solved by my Škoda service. This is a minor facelift, you're right
I never drive locked in my Kamiq. Doors lock system can be disabled, I did it. My Škoda is only locked when everybody is outside. I got a small hammer inside for emergencies, it can cut the seatbelt too (bought by me).
@@daveview1743 Check on your owner's book the function for automatic lock when you drive and function "SAFE" too. If it don't works properly, ask your Škoda dealer.
@uKBaZ84 The Kamiq has an Automatic locking system where by the car doors lock automatically when it reaches a speed of 15km per hour. On previous models this facility could be overriden on the computer. It can be overriden on the dash button but continously goes back on consequently the driver is locked in 5he car and emergency services or anyone could not gain access to assist the driver in an emergency situation. Skoda have confirmed in writing that their technical team are trying to develop a programme to download to the vehicles to allow it to be overriden. So currently it's a potential deathtrap. And not fit for purpose.
Salud y felicidad.
What do you think about the All-New 2024 Skoda Kamiq? Let us know!
It's not all-new, it's just a facelift.
This vehicle is a deathtrap dont buy it .
@@daveview1743why what do you mean

I've had two Kamiqs and the only change I would make is to get rid of LKA completely, and on all other cars also!. Brilliant car otherwise.
Prezzo il 1.5 benzina, con cambio manuale?
Per questa configurazione, il prezzo indicativo è di circa 36.000 euro.
Amazing its got a ticket holder but its not got a Automatic Locking System that can be overriden which makes it a potential deathtrap, dont buy it .

@FcoDguez The override button on ,the dash continually goes back on when the cars slows then speeds up again, it's not fit for purpose.

@FcoDguez If you happen to collapse and go unconscious no one can gain access to assist the driver as the car automatically locks .
This vehicle with an Automatic Locking System which cannot be overriden is a potential deathtrap ,dont buy it .
