Right. Some people are addicted to coffee, sum sex, others food, social media, clothing...everyone has a vice.. Just need to know how to enjoy it and control it, not let it control you and make you miserable

The euphoric preoccupation with death and power comes with the warrior caste and male bravado- a self induced altered state of purpose and self assuredness in the face of death. Only now the passion for living in the face of death is replaced with dope and death comes with no glory for the warrior or the tribe. Recovery reinvigorates this cause and effect drama between life and death with modern weapons of defense that restore a healthy balance between the quality of life and death of the people for years to come if they remain comitted.
A lot of their customs seem similar to indigenous Taiwanese, too, but the Philippines are (mostly) Austronesian speakers coming from Taiwan, but the Wanchos speak a Sino-Tibetan language.
This is one of the most beautiful cultures I've ever seen! How tragic that this is happening even in the most remote corners of the earth. Chickens coming home to roost. I was hooked on opium poppy pods for several years and it was the hardest opiate I've ever withdrawn from. But it's not hopeless. Sometimes the brain is changed so much by opiates that it's necessary to use substitutes for the duration of one's life, or at least many years. It's a shame kratom isn't available to them or medications like Suboxone. Anything that would allow them to lead normal lives.

I actually shed tears I couldn't believe how much more impactful and morally just their government is. A true inspiration right here folks 👌✌
