  • Her oncologist said “you’re the longest living person I know of” and the doctors don’t know why?
Diagnosed with Stage IV from the start, Lori just completed her PhD and was ready to begin a new career when cancer entered her life. Lori’s ambitions streamlined into one goal and that was to live as long as possible.
Congratulations Lori, 25 years and THRIVING with metastatic breast cancer. Lori says she is the luckiest person she knows, showing the world how to thrive with MBC.
    This is Lori's legacy.
    What’s yours?

Yessss Lori. I’m trying to be just like you. I’ve lived with it for 8 years now with Mets to my ribs, hip, spine and lungs and I too saw an article that said some 5% of folks live longer than the expected 5 years and even can live up too 20yrs. I vowed that would be me. I wholeheartedly agree that this is a mindset game. Keeping goals and continuing to live is top tier priority for my life. I still work as much as my body allows, I still travel, make plans, and eat live and laugh. It’s what keeps me going. I go for treatments every month and I’ve still been able to maintain my first line treatment thus far. My life isn’t surrounded by cancer, cancer is in the back of my mind. Thank you for showing me that it’s possible to live long and I plan to achieve that. Thanks for this kind reminder. ❤

I have stage 4 breast cancer which of course is metastatic. I started chemo again on 8/24/2023. My oncologist put me out of work for the next 6 months. I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2012. It was stage 2B. In 2017 it came back and was stage 4. My doctor put me on estrogen therapy drugs. Herceptin, lbrance, femara, xgeva, and faslodex. Unfortunately these medications stop working according to my most recent MRI and PET Scan. It’s been a journey but what other alternative do l have? Jesus is still good and faithful and he’s is what gets me through on a day by day basis.

Years ago, I read dressed to kill and stopped all deodorants, I quit tight clothes and yes mammograms. Including perfumes, lotions, grains, sugar, oils, and processed foods. He believes anything tight isn't good ,and when i quit sweating, his advice was excellent, and it's served me well . I eat olive oil and Mediterranean Diet. No stress is huge and allow your feet ,bare feet to walk ,touch the earth. I watched The Grounded Movie. ❤❤❤

My SIL and her sister were both diagnosed in 2004. I'm not sure which type they had. They both did chemo, double mastectomy, reconstructive surgery, and more chemo. 5 years later, SILs returned with a vengeance. Her scans too, "lit up like a Christmas tree." It was everywhere. She did everything, but it took her in 2014.
Her sister remains cancer free to this day.

If cancer has given you a "gift" it is that you have lived your life the way we are all meant to live our lives- never taking one day for granted and prioritizing what is important to you every day. Bless you and may you have many, many days of live and love. ❤❤👍👍

Hello. I'm 62 and 14 years ago I was diagnosed with stage 3 BC. I had mastectomy, chemo, medicines and full check ups every 3 months for 3 years then it was every 6 months for another 2 years. I am well today and thankful.
What was extremely important is to hv psychological support and healthy eating (avoid fried, fatty food, sweets) & stick to the exams.. I was advised that vitamins are a no no! Dont know why but they were forbiden.

It's like she said - the doctors don't know why. And I'm sure she doesn't know why either. She's just one of those extremely rare medical mysteries that happen on occasion. If nutrition cured cancer - we would see a LOT more people cured.

Where did it start? How long did it take to go from one place to another so that you could teach other people like me that is just being diagnosed with cancer can you make the rest of your videos say I have this type of cancer small cell or large cell this is how long it took to go from this place to that place and that place did that place and tell us what you are on are you on chemotherapy or radiation because they’re only giving me a muted therapy called Keytruda .. and thank you for your time if you could answer back thank you and I’m sorry for everything that you’re going through
