Nuzlocke rules:
Fainted Pokemon must be permanently boxed
Only the first encounter on any given route may be caught (dupes clause)
All pokemon must be nicknamed
Hardcore Rules:
Always Set mode
No items from the bag option in battle (held items are ok)
No overleveling the next gym leader

If you can get a clodsire with water absorb, he can riggedy reck the first 4 gyms by himself he's amazing
Idk why he didnt switch out for something since cpu went for quick attck instead of flower trick.. and then go down due to poison
Clodsire was the main reason I bought Scarlet when I finally got my hands on a Switch(Lite). Clodsire is my spirit animal just like regular Quagsire, whoever claims they two aren't cool are uncool and they should stop having low skill issues
@@forever_an_underdog9291 I am not 100% sure, but maybe he thought that the AI is programmed to use any of the damaging moves to finish off Clodsire as the HP was so low. So, there was the possibility of Meowscarade using flower trick.

Seeing clodsire die was probably the saddest/frustrating thing I’ve experienced in a long time. You could of probably switched to any other mon due to them always going for quick attack when you’re that low.

I felt the same when he let Mudsbray go down, being that Mudsdale is my favorite of all time
And when he said "oh yeah I probably should've done damage with phanphy" - that damage would've been enough to get the toxic kill a turn earlier and save phanphy
The bit with hippowdon caught me off guard, I laughed so hard out loud everybody in my house looked at me funny, love the video, and thanks for the hard work you do for these
Regarding why Abomasnow's Snow Warning didn't trigger, in SV if a weather effect is caused by the over world it cannot be changed. You can test it yourself by finding an area with rain and attempting to use Sunny Day. The move will fail. It's likely related to battles being persistent instead of going to a different screen.
My favorite ground type is probably Sandaconda. The pun in the name is so simple, yet makes me laugh every time.
My favorite ground type is definitely Zygarde 10%. I used to have a family dog, who just so happened to be a doberman. She was with me since I was born, and until I was 15. Zygarde 10% really just reminds me of her, and whenever I can get it in xy, and/or ultra moon, I purposely keep it incomplete just to use her and nickname her after my dog.
Rip Kira, you were quite literally my best friend. I hope I was able to give you an okay life. 💕

Moxie Krookodile is one of the best Pokemon out there. Definitely a favorite

Power Trip used to be Krookodile's Signature move.
Basically Stored Power but it's Dark type and deals Physical damage
I liked how garchomp flies in the lake titan fight and how krookodile's sub floats for some reason. And congrats on the 2 shinies

8:12 I'm pretty sure it does and the only terrain to not boost the type's moves is Misty Terrain. Saying all of this with confidence because I've seen it on Showdown
The fact that there isn't a single new, completly original ground-type in scarlet/violet is just bewildering to me.
Just a regional variant from a gen 2 mon, a convergent Gen 1 mon (aka a regional variant) and a few paradox mons (two from Gen 2, one from Gen one)

I think Meowscarada was guaranteed to go for quick attack against a 1hp Clodsire; so you could've just swapped and let toxic kill it to save your Clodsire.
The sacrifice of that beautiful boi was the reason I stopped watching.

Favorite is the reason I picked up the game: ACQUIRE THE SIRE, APPLAUD THE CLOD!!! Clodsire just looks like the epitome of cuteness and tough.

A suggestion for your next runs would be
-a starter of your choice and after that only the titan mons
-get your starter, then after the first gym leave your starter then start building a team based on the gym leader’s aces (you can evolve them)

Why didn’t you use Sandy Shocks? It’s part ground type I understand not using Ting-Lu since it’s a legendary but ya used a Paradox Pokemon in the bloody run.
Also, not sure if you allow this in a hardcore nuzlocke, but do you allow tera type changes? You could go to Medali and change all of the non ground tera types into ground teras. But that probably takes just too much time.
It's absolutely brutal to farm that many shards prior to 6 star raids.
While Grassy Terrain lowers the power of certain ground attacks similar to what Misty Terrain does to all dragon moves, it also powers up the power of Grass moves like Electric and Psychic terrain. Misty Terrain is the only one that doesn't power up it's relevant type as the fairy type is one of the most powerful matchups there is (similar to why they'd never make a terrain/weather that boosts dragon moves or makes steel types more defensive)
Edit: Also overworld weather has some unique properties. If the weather starts before the battle, it's permanent for the battle regardless of what it looks like. If it starts in the middle of the battle then it's temporary. This can be used against the Fire type team star fight as you can get rain from the overworld so if you wait to trigger the fight until the rain starts you can avoid having to use rain dance yourself.

My favorite ground type of Palossand/Toedscool. I really like goofy characters and those 2 are some of the best.
I always call Palossand "TexasIsDum" because I saw its preevo's name as SandyGasp and that reminded me of how offended Sandy Cheeks was when Patrick/Spongebob called texas dumb.
New subscriber here! I want to see a Gen 9 nuzlocke with Normal types, just so you have to use Dudunsparce.
Since the first dlc is out and the second dlc is on itis way maybe you could do another hardcore nuzlocke ground types only since this one was quite the clutch at the end there

I caught a Mudsdale in a Tera Raid which has a LUDICROUS Attack stat, with the Stamina ability and access to Body Press. I named him Grit and he is a monster.
