Nuzlocke rules:
Fainted Pokemon must be permanently boxed
Only the first encounter on any given route may be caught (dupes clause)
All pokemon must be nicknamed
Hardcore Rules:
Always Set mode
No items from the bag option in battle (held items are ok)
No overleveling the next gym leader

Reshiram, hands down. Really unorthodox design (looking like a wolf/wyvern hybrid) and I like its second special move a lot (Blue Flare).
The plot twist of Clive being Director Clavel is the most shocking Pokémon plot twist since The Masked Royale
now i know why ash gets fooled by team rocket all the time.
Yeah, someone has to give Game Freak a reward for amazing plot twists.

In case you ever do another Gen 9 challenge and have a Applin on your team, by heading into the forest near the poison team star boss you can pick up both apples from the shiny loot on the ground. This means you could have had Appletun for as early as the first gym
you could also buy both the sweet and tart apple in delibird presents which is in mesagoza
Adding on to these, an apple a day keeps the doctor away

Same. Funnily enough, despite being 4x weak to fairy, it can deal with them pretty easily due to flash cannon

My favorite Dragon Type is Baxcalibur. I didn’t think much of it when I first saw it’s design but it grew on me like wildfire and fell in love with it.

Ice Godzilla had me from the moment I saw that it was pretty much just haxorous with pseudo stats. Plus his ability is sweet when it procs
We not only have Godzilla himself in paldea, but also mecha Godzilla in Iron Thorns

i loved him when i first saw him, he's so dope and at the same time, insanely powerful.
Also a good way to do encounters would be how Jan did it where you take a wheel of all the encounters in an area and spin the wheel and see what you get so it’s still random you could do this but with just whichever Pokémon are of the type you’re doing a run with

@@ProfessionalNon Or a ghost run since there's a big cast of new ghost types (Skeledirge, Brambleghast, Greavard, Ceruledge, Gimmighoul, etc.)
They made it so easy to do a dragon only run this gen, I love it
I really appreciate that u can get dragon types and pseudos early. Lets u actually play through the game with them and not just get them in the endgame
My first shiny in this game is a Swablu and seeing you have a swablu named Cotton Candy while mine’s named Cotton just warms me up lol. Another banger of a video
Altaria is my favorite pokémon and Cotton Guard setup has won me so many tough battles in my nuzlockes. Love to see it!

Heads up, you can get the loaded dice from one of the people who give rewards from beating trainers. Baxcaliber with loaded dice icicle spear is enough to sweep a lot of the elite four after a dragon dance. I saw Mandjtv do it. It looked glorious.

Probably because they’re all relatively easy. Now the Team Star bosses are a different story.
In the future for dragon type runs of the game, you can get bagon, dreepy, and axew In the circular mountain above the swamp in south paldea, just circle around near the lower tower in the rocky cliffs where klawf is, they should be between levels 15ish-20ish. For people playing scarlet larvatar and possibly deino spawn instead

Favorite dragon is Dragonite, hands down. The trauma of playing Pokemon Yellow for the first time and finally KOing Lance's Dragonite only to have another one take its place... That is etched into my memory forever haha

Honestly, when I realized they put another Dragon/Ice type. I immediately realized that I could Fairy Tera Type it and neutralize almost every weakness.

Something to let you know btw, there's a guy in the ice town with the ghost type gym leader that can trade bottle caps to make out iv's, which you can get after a couple of gym badges.

This is honestly the best pokemon game they ever put out. So much potential and limitless features in this game.
Finally I can watch this challenge. When you released it, I didn't watch because I had to play until the final battle myself. But now, when I finished the main game, I can watch and enjoy another of your monotype nuzlockes with my favorite tyoe. :)

Tip for if you use baxcalibur again. If you delay its evolution by 1 level you'll learn icicle crash which is way better than ice fang.

This is just my personal choice, but I think leaving the bases till after the league is too stompy. I'd like to see you fight titans and bases at their caps

Honestly, in my personal opinion, you should definitely do an only pseudo legendary run, yeah you would be over-powered but it takes a while for ur pokemon to get to that level, so it should be fine

Here's something, do a nuzlocke but do the team star raids and titan battles too in-between with their level caps. With the exp share the way it is, it might be tough.

Exactly! I wish some nuzlocker would do the Team Star fights in the intended order cause those are the most difficult fights in the game imo and to completely skip them like this is just sad. The gyms aren’t as challenging as those Star Bosses, so it’ll make for a more interesting nuzlocke as well if they do everything in the intended order
So far I have done 9/18 types and the dragon challenge was my second one and I named my dragons after Yu-Gi-Oh! monsters I love my Lusterdragon he was so strong he was also a garchomp with sand veil ability

A little tip if you end up using ground types in any future S/V nuzlockes, if you beat 5 trainers in Asado Desert, the league representative at the Cascarafa pokemon center will give you the tm for earthquake. I figure you might not know this since Garchomp still had dig in the endgame
for encounters in this game, i wonder if itd be possible to catch two high level mons, and then picnic to get an egg from them and have that be your early game "encounter"
That's the lovely prerogative of playing a nuzlocke. You can do whatever you want with it. Add rules, take away some, and have some extra clauses. The world's your oyster.

In regards to the grass gym, it probably went for Trailblaze because you were faster. Pokemon AI likes to have the speed advantage so will often go for sub-optimal moves to try to outspeed you. Something good to keep in mind whenever you see a the AI with a move that either lowers your speed or raises theirs!
I just love gible it is cute turns into to perfect predator because it is ground dragon the anima shows it swimming really fast, and some dex entries say it can fly at super sonic speeds plus gible is fun to say and gets some pretty good moves
Just as a heads up, you can purchase the apples to evolve Applin after beating 3 gyms.

I think for future nulockes, adding the team star bases to the level caps would be cool, since, at least in my casual playthrough, they were the boss fights i had the most struggle with. The titans could also be interesting, especially when they are super effective against your team
