Picked up a used 7 Pro with 12gb ram/256 storage recently on Swappa for $350. Was looking at 8T and other android flagships. Even tried a Pixel 5 for a few months, but the 7 Pro was peak Android design in the past 5 years.

But actually those phones are available at lot cheaper price from third party retailers and Samsung always runs various offers. For example, just 2 weeks back, they were running the $200 Trade in for any working android phone and that brings down the price of S10 below $700. They also offers Student discount and Work discounts all the time. If you know how to look, you will get plenty of options at this price.

Just picked this one up for $450 from T-Mobile. A great price for a phone that should still get 2 more major Android updates. Samsung needs to extend their support, at least on flagships to 3 years.

It's so much easier to take a chance on OnePlus since they're on T-Mobile. I'm expecting continuous updates to address some camera limitations/issues and battery life. If not I'll probably go with the Pixel 4 which will most likely be carried by T-Mobile as well.
Yeah the European prices are a bit higher. And that is if you compare relatively as well. In the US the 256gb oneplus 7pro costs as much as the s10e(release price). But its much more expensive in Europe
Your battery has not been conditioned properly. Mine easily lasts 2 days mixed use and 7 hours screen on time. This is at 90Hz refresh rate. This phone is great
@@reponmiah3086 when I bought it for the first week I charged to full and then used the phone till the battery had completely discharged 4-5 times. Then once a month I do one of these full discharge cycles. It is really important when doing this to charge from 0% to 100% uninterrupted and let it discharge fully
It's later this year and it won't be better than this! It'll be 1080p like the OnePlus 6/6t. Newer processor and camera. I'm actually about to buy the 6T this Friday and it'll be awesome!
As a long time iPhone user and was previously looking at the XR for my new phone. I just cannot justify those prices any more. $750+ on an inferior product is pure madness. I will wait till next month so that the Nebula Blue is in stock and then switch back to android. I previously used a Moto G in 2015
Here's another thing to consider. The phone comes with 1 warp charging brick & cable. Unless you want to take that with you everywhere (i.e. work) you will have to buy 1 or 2 of these potentially which retail at $50 - if you want the warp charging. I love this phone though....someone talk me into buying it. I currently use the LG v30 which has good features - so its hard to justify speeding $700+ thoughts anyone??
Battery stamina will be an issue..I have already seen battery tests that show the OnePlus 7 Pro not doing extremely well vs the competition. They needed a 5000mAh battery in it to account for the power draw from the 90Hz display. I am really eyeing the Asus Zenfone 6 with that 5000mAh battery..I'm just wondering if the LTE bands will play nice with US GSM networks like Tmo. For me the OnePlus 7 Pro should have been a no brainer but for the battery endurance issue and curved screen. For the next OnePlus 7t Pro.... please please OnePlus, this beautiful screen but also a 6.4" flat screen option, a 5000+mAh battery, camera software improvements and all around optimization of the device to blow up the competition on endurance. 🤞🙏🤔
What a beautiful phone. I know I'm going to visit my local John Lewis, where, thankfully, you can now find One+ phones, just like I did the 6T and marvel at it. I owned a 3T for about 2 months and it was *the* most amazing phone, but *way* too big for me. I live in hope that One+ will eventually produce a "mini" version! 😉
I have a issue that no one talked about on internet. My oneplus7pro always shows my phone is up to date when I am checking for update, and my phone is 9.5.4 currently. I try to do local upgrade, but there is no local update on my phone either... anybody can explain why? Thank you,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
what should I go for? 8GB or 12GB? Would not be playing heavy games, but need multitasking, with youtube, notes, social networking and all. and I hate lags.
12 GB in a phone is just overkill, most phones dont exceed 6 GB, 8 will do the job and then some, the 12 GB version is for those who plan to keep the phone for over 3 years to ensure future proofing.
In Sweden it costs about 890 USD for the OnePlus 7 Pro with the 12 GB/256 GB and 810 USD for the OnePlus 7.We always have to pay ridiculously more money (mainly due to taxes I presume). I almost laugh everytime anyone in the US reviewing a flag ship phone says that it´s quite expensive. However, the plain OnePlus 7 with 6GB RAM/128 GB "only" costs 600 USD.Haha!
With the software it has, i'd go for best Android phone. However that depends on the user; many like loads of features, top cameras and wireless charging
The OnePlus CEO said that paying for the official rating would drive up the price of the phone. Add in that there isn't a warranty out there that pays for water damage on a phone. Besides, IP ratings are overrated: th-cam.com/video/z8AdxtkkQDo/w-d-xo.html
It's 1000 CAD here which is a tad over 700 USD but the price is pushing me away. If the OP6T didn't have that ... what was it called? teardrop notch? if it didn't have that I would have considered buying it instead. But I have a OP5 and it's plenty great for what I need. No rush to upgrade. Hopefully OP8 and higher is more affordable
There is no doubt that the OnePlus 7 Pro this year is a full blown flagship that futher substantiates that the likes of Apple, Samsung and Huawei pricing at the $1000 dollars plus are in fact inflated. I got the 8gs of RAM 256 storage variant and the 90hrtz refresh rate ironically coming from what used to be known as the full blown flagship killer has just set a new flagship industry standard that now the top flagships have no choice but to follow suit or their sales will suffer. I don't even pick up my iPhone, my note 9 or my S10 anymore because there simply is just that much difference in 90hrtz and 60hrtz as I write professionally and with both apple and samsung as I would get lost in the moment speed typing the 60hrtz would what I had become used to began go lag or fall behind. The OnePlus 7 Pro 90hrtz has yet to lag of fall behind once which is more than a welcome change and makes bot only for myself a better all around user experience, but will do the same for whomever is fortunate enough to own this gorgeous stunning handset for themselves. KashtonTechMobile
Imagine oneplus making plans for a 1000 dollar phone without the usual budget cuts for their phone. Oneplus making a phone without compromise but the asking price is 1000 dollars
Wish it had an 18:9 aspect ratio and was only 6 inches, oh and the chin was smaller and had wireless charging and an ir blaster . iP rating would be great too bc I love having it in the shower without worrying
No, it should be Mi9 or Zenfone 6 ($499), OP7 pro is a bit overpriced now and the curved screen breaks more easily and also colours distortion on the edge of the screen when watching videos.
Hey people of the comment section I know that the 7t got 4k from the telephoto and ultra wide, but I wasn't sure if it was just a hardware feature specific for the phone or was it software related hope it was software because then the 7pro can also do it.
Excellent display. However, too big... One good drop and it's very possible that phone is done... I always giggle a little seeing someone walk around with what looks like a brick in their hand due to the size of phones these days. I'll happily keep my Pixel 3!
Sorry It's the LG G 8 at $619 on mobile It loses on screen size having a notch and no Tele But has an sd card amp dad headphone jack Faster real fingerprint scanner Secure face unlock Flush cameras Higher pp I One plus looks better from the front but not the back Selfy cam may not last Curves mean more fragile and more false touches 90 kHz is great though And faster storage is good But fast as cards are cheap and 1tb ones are out now
the LG G8 also uses the back glass as a camera lens, which is more prone to breaking that "crystal OLED speaker" isn't very good slower charging slower android updates no HDR10+ no in display fingerprint scanner smaller battery the thing that oneplus sets itself aside from other companies is its software with oxygenOS being one of the best android software out there AND 2 year of android updates with 3 years of android security updates, this phone will last quite a while but again its personal preference, there really is no best phone what does exist is the best phone for YOU
If you're going to wait for the 7T, why not wait for the 8?.. Or 8T... Better yet, just wait for the 9 😂.. Some of you consumers are downright unreasonable & borderline retarded. It not only competes with but exceeds many current flagship standards and you still find something to complain about. Unbelieveable.
4 hours of battery life? Buying a smartphone tomorrow for my vacation, either the P30 pro or this one. I don´t need a 90 hz panel though and I definitely need something that can go for more than 4 hours. Had to send the A70 back because it doesn´t do more than 8 megapixels at 16:9, the 4x 8MP tetracell technology is reserved to 4:3 on the Samsung A series.
You can just change the refresh rate to 60. Also perevious op DEVICES had great battery life compared to their size so probably if you turn the resolution to fhd you will have one of the Best battery life
I would still "risk" OnePlus. If battery will be a big issue, just tone down to 1080p and 60Hz, as it is on P30Pro. Also OP is faster with software updates so if the battery really is that average I am pretty sure they are going to address it quickly. I am just using a 6T and a Mate20Pro (and I really had the high hopes for the latter) and gotta say: love the cameras on the Mate, but the UI is just... bad to average at best - old-fashioned, not really intuitive and looks just... cheap, even though it contains many interesting funcionalities (but OP has those too and most of them more useful). If you are going for smoothness and speed any of the OPs are better. And the battery on 6T is pretty much on par with the Huaweis.
@@tomekdarda Thanks for your answer and time Tomek, youtube is very contradicting when it comes to the various aspects of the 7 pro. Some are also reporting too much blurriness on the pictures, nothing a a software update can´t fix? Well, I already ordered one ... so too late for second thoughts.
5G isn't very important. The latest 4G LTE speeds are plenty fast for pretty much everything. 5G will be much cheaper in a few years and that will be the best time to invest.
I see people hating the curved screen, i personally think it makes the phone look more premium

I will wait till next month so that the Nebula Blue is in stock and then switch back to android. I previously used a Moto G in 2015
The OnePlus 7 looks good too
What was that weather app? Can anyone help please?
It has HDMI out support, also. That would've been nice to know, before I purchased a Mate 20 X.
Also USB 3
Bought the phone Friday night 8pm est I agree about the battery iv charged it 4 times now since I've had it it's Sunday morning now 8am
If one plus sold this phone at 600 it would be a top seller easily
If my aunt had a cock she'd be my uncle
Oogly Boogly oldie but a goodie ..... I laughed
I would love to see the use of the fingerprint frm an all black lock screen instead of pushing the power first..
Amazing full review keep it up as always
The best android phone at any price
With the software it has, i'd go for best Android phone.
However that depends on the user; many like loads of features, top cameras and wireless charging
Try turning off digital wellbeing and see if battery improves.
Why does one plus not have the 7 prp IP68 rated?
The OnePlus CEO said that paying for the official rating would drive up the price of the phone. Add in that there isn't a warranty out there that pays for water damage on a phone. Besides, IP ratings are overrated: th-cam.com/video/z8AdxtkkQDo/w-d-xo.html
That light reflection on the screen sides...
Anyone know if this phone works with metro?
seems like a compelling reason to buy, but I don't think my rhythm games would appreciate the delay of using wireless headsets
It's 1000 CAD here which is a tad over 700 USD
but the price is pushing me away. If the OP6T didn't have that ... what was it called? teardrop notch? if it didn't have that I would have considered buying it instead.
But I have a OP5 and it's plenty great for what I need. No rush to upgrade.
Hopefully OP8 and higher is more affordable
Have a look at the oneplus 7
since this phone has no IP rating what is the reason for it not to include a removable battery?
@Jacob G my point is that it seems the OEM's have no valid reason to not make the battery removable anymore, other than planned obsolescence.
Jacob Naszimento removable battery this is not a note 4 or lg v20

Is this front display glass tough enough against house keys in the pocket?
Is this phone 5G compatible?
no
@andoridcentral try to cover zenfone 6
Sounds amazing, I'm just not keen on the idea of a pop-up camera, I'm also not a fan of curved screens.
And and those glowing screens are scary too. Waiting for a pen and ink device.
why d'ont we change the titel to......
'oneplus 7 pro review: the BEST ANDROID'
I'm use to the curve style. I use to own a samsung s9 plus lol.
I liked more when it was 300 but I think a great set of specs comes with a higher price
Chemy Torres There's others brands you know not just one plus
@@bigmaxcc I know
2:18 It's NOT the FIRST phone with 90hz OLED refresh rate, ROG is!
who cares, razer phone has 120hz
@@gideonMorrison true but it's a lcd and xperia 1 has 2k 120hz oled while gaming. It matters if you want true black
Well this is QHD, why such a rave about this? 😂
Imagine oneplus making plans for a 1000 dollar phone without the usual budget cuts for their phone. Oneplus making a phone without compromise but the asking price is 1000 dollars
Anyone have experience with OP tech support, if you have issues? Are they good?
Picture are bad... Software must be improved! Noisy!
Wish it had an 18:9 aspect ratio and was only 6 inches, oh and the chin was smaller and had wireless charging and an ir blaster . iP rating would be great too bc I love having it in the shower without worrying
Huh
This mob used only rich people
Please brother i need this mobile 💕😩
No, it should be Mi9 or Zenfone 6 ($499), OP7 pro is a bit overpriced now and the curved screen breaks more easily and also colours distortion on the edge of the screen when watching videos.
The speed has been arrived
I already bought my OnePlus 7 pro last week, I don't know why I'm still watching review videos
Bro how's the battery life? Planning on buying it
@@rakshithadike8549 the battery is really good, it will last me the whole day, but the fast charging is insane
Thanks for the reply bro will be buying this beast soon!
Hey people of the comment section I know that the 7t got 4k from the telephoto and ultra wide, but I wasn't sure if it was just a hardware feature specific for the phone or was it software related hope it was software because then the 7pro can also do it.
Dark mode helps with battery
Excellent display. However, too big... One good drop and it's very possible that phone is done... I always giggle a little seeing someone walk around with what looks like a brick in their hand due to the size of phones these days. I'll happily keep my Pixel 3!
If it was water proof or resistant I wouldn't hesitate at even a higher price. I don't do selfies so I don't like the weakness of a popup camera
But... You know it is, right?
700 dollars is pretty darn expensive!
Not for what you get
Not for what you get!!!
Sorry
It's the LG G 8 at $619 on mobile
It loses on screen size having a notch and no Tele
But has an sd card amp dad headphone jack
Faster real fingerprint scanner
Secure face unlock
Flush cameras
Higher pp I
One plus looks better from the front but not the back
Selfy cam may not last
Curves mean more fragile and more false touches
90 kHz is great though
And faster storage is good
But fast as cards are cheap and 1tb ones are out now
the LG G8 also uses the back glass as a camera lens, which is more prone to breaking
that "crystal OLED speaker" isn't very good
slower charging
slower android updates
no HDR10+
no in display fingerprint scanner
smaller battery
the thing that oneplus sets itself aside from other companies is its software
with oxygenOS being one of the best android software out there AND 2 year of android updates with 3 years of android security updates, this phone will last quite a while
but again its personal preference, there really is no best phone
what does exist is the best phone for YOU
OnePlus7Pro will be joining my Note9, OnePlus6T, and Revvl2Plus at home base May17th can't wait.
So it seems like a "wait for the T model" phone
If you're going to wait for the 7T, why not wait for the 8?.. Or 8T... Better yet, just wait for the 9 😂.. Some of you consumers are downright unreasonable & borderline retarded. It not only competes with but exceeds many current flagship standards and you still find something to complain about. Unbelieveable.
Are you trying to say, that it's not THE BEST ANDROID? Which one is that please?
Easy: the Samsung Galaxy S10 series
@@MathieuLLF In your shortsighted mind,yes.

I am using the same Live Wall Paper on my 6T
Hi what is the live wall paper called? Ty
Also perevious op DEVICES had great battery life compared to their size so probably if you turn the resolution to fhd you will have one of the Best battery life
P30 pro only lasts forever because it's super aggressive with killing background apps.
People have reported not receiving notifications in time.
This is a very detailed review of Product. Pretty sure the 5G version will be around $1000 when it is released.
5G isn't very important. The latest 4G LTE speeds are plenty fast for pretty much everything. 5G will be much cheaper in a few years and that will be the best time to invest.
best phone over all..
Man I'm thinking of getting this over any other phone. I'm due for an upgrade too.
Dew it!
@@Tyrone-Ward I will, just looked at it and played with it in the store. Will be getting it soon.
this phone are easily better then s10+ or iphones for over 1000$
True
4000 mah to small they should have put 5000 mah tht big 1440 p screen plus 90 Hertz will kill it quickly tbh I taught the 855 was pwer efficient
