Another abarth channel!!! :D found you through stef. Just had my abarth 500 mapped to 201 bhp. Was running stage 1.5 since September last year. The difference is phenomenal and my torque is now at 252ftlbs!! (I’m only running the IHI) but for me I think any more power would be welcomed but 201bhp is plenty for me. And to think yours is running 307!! :o I mean obviously yours is forged and more than likely track ready but it still amazes me how much power you can get from these little things hahaha. Would love to meet up with all the abarth uk you tubers and have a good chin wag about abarth hahaha. Keep the videos coming dude!! Love em 👍
Ok thanks for the reply I’ll give him a call. Do you know what size the standard injectors are. Also I want to get a set of track wheels as they don’t do semi slick tyres that fit the standard biposto wheels so was going to go 17s what size tires would you recommend.
Hi Grant. I met you at tune4performance when my grey comp was being remapped had a TurboTechnics S260 on it it. It was the grey comp stuck in pro Alfa anyway I was after some advice I’m in the process of fitting the turbo to my biposto with the new forge front mounted intercooler, Forge oil cooler, MRE manifold decat and custom center section with a 100 cell cat going to the Akrapovic, TBF radiator and hoses. Wave track lsd and lightweight flywheel and uprated clutch already fitted. When it was on the comp it made 254bhp. I wanted to know no with out forging the engine would it be worth upgrading the injectors.head gasket and head bolts would tony turn it up a bit more or just leave it as is. Any advice would be much appreciated.
I remember well! Great to hear you've got a biposto now. The headgasket in the biposto lowers the compression anyway so is safer to run with higher boost applications. The safe limit of the block is circa 1.6 bar peak. So headbolts wouldn't be required at that boost. Injectors may come in handy as bit more fuel may be used to gain a little extra bhp but that will depend on the duty cycle Tony has set the stock ones at. I would speak with Tony as the fueling will be the same etc as the comp it should make identical power.
Content is already getting better and better 6 vids in. Well done mate 🙌
Exhaust looks amazing and from what ive heard it's very unique. Sounds completely different from any other abarth
Im so jealous you aabarth is awsome makes mine looks crap lol
Don't forget I have been working at this for years. Thank you for the kind words though
