I have actually made several devil fruits of my own for my One Piece OCs (Original Characters) for when I was writing fan fictions for them. The very first one was the Karada-Karada no mi, the Body-Body fruit, for my character which was inspired by Law's fruit. It's basically a fruit that heavily relies on both anatomy and physiology as a means of transplantation of bodily organs and working around the inner functions of the body. The second one is the Spark-Spark fruit. Which basically is a welding, electricity, and static based fruit. The third one was sort of like the Mind-Mind fruit, but it was mostly a telepathy, telekinesis, and pathokinesis (think Jasper's (Twilight) powers) based fruit. All of which have been developed over a course of 2 to 3 years. So, yea.
My question is, for devil fruits and smiles alike, there haven't been, to my knowledge, any zoan devil fruits that are based off of one piece creatures like sea kings or any other, Why? I find it weird that normal animals and mythical ones have but, even with the lack of specific One piece Animals, there haven't been any.

I don't think you mentioned this, but since smile's are artificial, only affect a certain part of the body, and sometimes even have a separate consciousness. Do you think they still have a limit of one per person? Tekking, way to under represent the utter brutality that is the cassowary. They remember being top of the food chain and really get pissed when they see us. They have a claw that can almost cut a human arm off, and they do eat meat. So first it will get you with a kick, then it will eat you.
Yeah but they are real beast they kill crocodile easily. With a real fruit like that the user gonna be really strong and they have hard skin even lion have a hard time to cut them. They can also break a big water melon with their mouth. In the herbivore zoan is one of the best fruit to have.
24:50 Cassowaries are not that big. They are about 4 feet. Ostriches are considerably bigger. Also Cassowarries can't run all that fast, they live in the jungle and there running speed is kind of irrelevant since there are so many obstacles. But it does make them more aggressive since they can't rely as much on running away.

While I haven't heard much about the platypus killing anyone, I can confirm that those devil birds have been known to kill people so yeah, pretty scary idea for a devil fruit. Also I've read the Hatchet as well, you only just reminded me about the moose scene, that was a pretty cool book.

I don't think you mentioned this, but since smile's are artificial, only affect a certain part of the body, and sometimes even have a separate consciousness. Do you think they still have a limit of one per person? I would guess that as long as you don't eat 2 smiles (or smile users) that affect the same part of the body there wouldn't be any complications. BTW when is the devil fruit contest? ;p

Tekking, way to under represent the utter brutality that is the cassowary. They remember being top of the food chain and really get pissed when they see us. They have a claw that can almost cut a human arm off, and they do eat meat. So first it will get you with a kick, then it will eat you.

Cassowaries are not that big. They are about 4 feet. Ostriches are considerably bigger.
Also Cassowarries can't run all that fast, they live in the jungle and there running speed is kind of irrelevant since there are so many obstacles. But it does make them more aggressive since they can't rely as much on running away.

Hey Tekking, hi from Australia humble home to the platypus and the cassowary that you mentioned. While I haven't heard much about the platypus killing anyone, I can confirm that those devil birds have been known to kill people so yeah, pretty scary idea for a devil fruit. Also I've read the Hatchet as well, you only just reminded me about the moose scene, that was a pretty cool book.
