Nahverkehrszüge oder französisch train omnibus ist vielleicht nicht ganz zutreffend, da auch der Bernina-Express verkehrt, ein Prestige-Schnellzug auf Meter-Spur. Schönes Video, vielen Dank.
Nice video! Love the incandescent lights on those first gateless signals! Vertically-oriented crossbucks? Interesting. Also odd how the LEDs on the right-hand signal at 4:30 don't shut off all the way. Looks like the signals might have lenses and or backgrounds with two different sizes?
I've seen lights like that on a Polish crossing before... perhaps they're imported. I think it's supposed to mimic an incandescent bulb that doesn't have time to completely fade.
I know Italy used to have American-style signals, but why were these kept, and even upgraded with LEDs and electronic bells insetead of changed to the regular type?
actually, not true, having travelled along the line itself in person, I noticed a distinct difference between the Italian signals, and the Swiss ones, these are definitely the Italian ones. I just assumed that the signals were like that in the whole country, are they usually different then?
I find the amount of people who go through the red level crossing lights quite disturbing...
And, people who swerve across lines…
Yeah!
It's Italy, Red lights are optional
@@railotaku you say what now?
@Rene Wells OK bots
I have been there several times. Love It.
Very nice video! I live in Italy! Greetings!
Meraviglioso fare un giro con questo treno x andare in svizzera. Il trenino della bernina
Travelled along it for real, (in train) super fun!
That's a weird consist: a three car EMU, four passenger cars and a freight car.
Multiple freight cars
Bellissimo video.

Where was this taken and what is the gauge?
I made this video on Piazza Basilca in Tirano Italy. The gauge of the Bernina Railway is metre (1000 mm) gauge

Michael C. That’s wrong, I live in Tirano, everything that involves the red train is property of Swiss’ government, even the station
i was at that crossing a few years ago
