Caiman-kun passed into heaven on November 8, 2024, after 43 years of life. Caiman crocodilus normally live an average of 20 years in captivity and up to 40 years in the wild, but Caiman-kun lived 43 years longer than that. This indicates that Caiman-kun's life with his owner, Mr. Murabayashi, was very stress-free, peaceful, and happy.
Never judje a book bye its cover.:seriously tho i agree thisnis super dangerous but the guy seems very responsable. He tapes the caimans mouth shut in public so im sure everything is fine
As an Australian I giggle about how they’re talking about this “pet” as if it’s huge. In Australia crocodiles get to be around 5m (16ft) and around 450kg (nearly 1000lbs)
I wonder how the gator feels about the kids treating him as a jungle gym lmao. At least his mouth I taped up when out in public. 200 years from now I wouldn’t be surprised if gators are just as domesticated as cats and dogs lol.
Thats not an alligator, its a crocodile. You can tell by the shape of the snout. A crocodile has more of a V shaped snout white an alligator has more of a U shaped snout.

Well it's for public safety. If the animal suddenly gets stressed it can be very unpredictable. This man has been living with the caiman for decades without issue so it's not really a problem at home.
