Codi, you made me cry. tears of joy. It is so wonderful how you love and honor your wife. She's doing a great job. Not just the garden and all the other work around the family. Home schooling and caring for the children. And, the best comes last - always with a happy smile. What a pity I found you so late. You guys are so great, you deserve 1 million subscribers. Unfortunately I can't support you by using your links because I live in Germany. all the best to you
Thank you so much!
@@morethanfarmers Hi Cody, if you really want to make her happy get her a vitamix blender. It pulverizes tomato seeds. NO seeds at all with the Vitamix. Wish I could afford one!!!!
Thank you for taking the time to acknowledge the hard work and value your wife brings ot the table.
I think there might be hope for humanity yet! 😉
😁😁
I sure wish I had raised my children on a homestead I love y’all’s channel and content
So I may have just ordered an ice cream maker for my wife because of this video
Haha, that’s awesome! 😁
Such a wholesome video. You have a beautiful family. Codi, great to see how much you love your wife.
Shelly needs an outdoor kitchen for canning
That would be cool!
You hit a home run with your wife on that one. Seems she loved each gift. Good move on your part. And i agree, know how to live without them but while you can use them use them.
Ohhh heck ya to the dishwasher with 4 children and homesteading. I homestead alone and many times I am doing dishes 3 and 4 times per day. (no dishwasher) I don't mind not having one but with a large family and the many things going on in the kitchen. A must. Not to say that if you had to hand wash it couldn't be done. But enjoy the luxury while we can.
Your a wonderful husband, you seem to love her as Christ loves the church, beautiful
Once again, Codi, you captivated me to watch to the end of the video. Not that I am in the market for the things you mentioned, but that it was just interesting to watch. You covered a lot of ground in a short time, and it flowed well. I totally agree with your comments about idealism. Idealism is a great motivator, but it's difficult to make it sustainable. Your pragmatic view of managing the home is right on. If we can't find a sustainable way to reach for our ideals, they become dead dreams. Y'all are looking good. Keep up the good work on the family, and the videos. Cheers!
Thanks a lot Tom! Very high praise indeed 😊 It woulda been nice not to have made so many mistakes, but I’m glad I learned as soon as I did. You sure you don’t need a milk strainer? 😉
@@morethanfarmers Once upon a time,Yes.🙂
Well guys i know this is a little old but it came up for me to watch, so i did so. You've got it covered all basis and you always make it fun. Loved how you take time to be you. Xx
Glad you enjoyed it, Mary 😌
Thank you for sharing
You are WISE, be GOOD
to your wife!!!!👏👏😍👍🏻
Will do 😁
Instant pot makes great yogurt but get a gasket that you only use for dairy.
What a good husband you are!
Thx
Very nice video. Nice to see thoughtfulness from a husband about the realities of everyday work of being a housewife.
This was a very special episode and not because of how wonderfully informative it is ❤💫
LOVE my instant pot! #1 Favorite thing!
I lol ed so hard when you said you do mayo the hard way because I did NOT expect you to say it was hard to drizzle the oil in the blender. My mom makes it by hand EVERY TIME :)) it's insane, that's in my opinion the hard way haha. I'd never have the patience for that.
Don’t want to go all Laura Ingalls Wilderness towards the end of the video… Very funny! Laura Ingalls Wilder. But wilderness works really well in the context of the sentence.
I said wilderness on purpose 😉
Great video! Genuine from the Heart~🦋💜.
Thank you! 🤗
New subscriber here! Watching a lot of previous videos! Awesome video with product inserts. I’m enjoying you channel ❤️
I'm kinda disappointed that those killer denim back pockets on your apron didn't make the list! 😉
I keep checking Shenandoah Homestead Supply for that strainer to come back in stock but it hasn't yet... I think they said they were hoping for sometime this month!
Yeah, I know! He told me they should have em in a week or so.
I can’t believe you guys aren’t bigger then you are! Awesome editing and videos! Where are y’all located ?
Well thank you! We’re in central Ohio. How about you?
❤
You guys are soo cute
I would love your Boone broth recipe for the instant pot!?
I just put the appropriate amount of bones into my pot and cover them with water. You can experiment to see how many bones you need for your broth to gel. I set my instant pot on low pressure for 3 hours. Beautiful broth every time. You can add a splash of apple cider vinegar, salt, and seasonings as well.
@@morethanfarmers thank you, Michelle. I didn't know if you used any veggies like carrot and/or onion in yours? Have a blessed day!
❤❤❤
I Agee with a lot of your list….except the dishwasher! I can’t stand them. It would be one thing if you could actually take dirty dishes and just pop them in the dishwasher and they would come out clean….but instead you actually have to pre wash them, then load them, then run them through the cycle only to discover that your pre-wash wasn’t thorough enough and have them come out vaguely smelling of old, very wet food, but also with baked on tiny bits of food that are adhered so strongly they may as well have been welded on. I have found dishwasher to be so much more trouble than a sink full of soapy warm water and a green scrubby.
Oh wow, sounds like you've got the wrong dishwasher! That would be horrible!
I don't know if I can post a link here, but I highly recommend checking out the TH-cam channel "Technology Connections" & watching his excellent dishwasher tips video. If your dishwasher still does a poor job after following the advice there, then I think it's very likely there's something wrong & it needs serviced or replaced.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
What kind of glove is that for washing the eggs?
I just buy a cheap microfiber glove from walmart. It's so amazing!
You guys are to cute ☺️
I have looked several times and I can not find the link for the milk strainer. Is it still available?
That’s annoying. It should be. Try this www.shenandoahhomesteadsupply.com/?dt_id=93386 and use the code MORETHANFARMERS for 5% off.
Thank you 😊
How does the cast iron fare on the ceramic top stove?
Been doin it for years and it does just fine.
@@morethanfarmers I’ve always been afraid to scratch my stove top with it 😯
@@Myladybug70 What’s a stove for? 🤷🏻♂️😉
@@morethanfarmers using of course! Ours is 20 years old with only a couple minor scratches on it. 🤣 knowing me though, I’d probably drop the cast iron and break the stove top. 🙄
@@Myladybug70 😁
Do have a microwave?
Nope 😏
