You might check the pinion angle since you rolled the front of the axle up. You may end up with a vibration or destroy u joints. Love your project and continuing to watch from Lewiston Id Clarkston Wa. valley.
@@toddsmith5591 thanks for watching Todd! That’s definitely on the list of things to do once it’s back and put together. The body shop just took it in, hopefully we see a newly painted truck in a couple months:)
I was just putting leaf springs in my F100, interesting way that you removed and took off the bed. The method of using an engine lift to remove an 8 ft bed is rather cumbersome, I may have to try your method next time it needs to be removed, but fingers crossed for now. Rivet removal fun stuff as well.
@@MattProfa , thats it in a nutshell live and learn while working on these old trucks, btw great shop lots of room, I only have a one car garage right now but making it work, coyote and 10r80 are installed, suspension rebuilt, and I think frame rivet removal is done for now, famous last words
Good video that inspired me to do same thing on my f250
Great job
Good stuff I'm doing similar work to my j1 bedford...nz
so you just used the 2 factory (original) bottom holes and drilled 2 new uppers? TY
Yes sir, turns out I didn’t need to drill
