great video…. I have a friend that ultra marathons all over the planet. I still cannot believe what she does! As a stills shooter, I have not felt the need to upgrade from my Z7II to a Z8 or Zf to a Z6III. However, this video, and many others have me thinking the Z50 II is a valid use case upgrade of my Zfc for a lightweight cycling, hiking, kit!
Watching this, and it was quiet epic, I was struck by how everyone that has a camera with the latest EXPEED 7 processor talks about how much difference it makes.
Without good lenses for APS-C it is still just a "better" toy. Lack of good zooms: 100-400 f4 dx, 30-300 f3.5-4.5 dx , 50-400 f3.5-5.6 dx, 150-500 f3.5 -5.6 dx, 24-120 f 2.0-2.8 or 2.8-4.0 dx, 18-105 2.0-2.8dx disqualify this camera. :( I currently have a z50 and due to the lack of good Nikon lenses I probably won't buy it, which is a shame because I prefer an APS-C camera to FF and I like the Nikon brand.

Awesome suff guys and congrats to Julian on the impressive run! The new Z50 II certainly got a good test in those conditions!
Thanks, Tom. Absolutely!

Nice authentic and inspiring storytelling.
This was great, Julian! I need to be faster in order to run alongside you and your brother to be in your future photos 😂
Great shots and the Milky Way shot was even greater. Do you share the images or experience in more depth elsewhere?
10bit color and HLG should be standard in these entry level cameras
Where can we find Julian’s vlog?
Don't knock the 16-50 until you have used it. It's surprisingly good.
wow!
