Remember people, the best iphones to buy are the ones released after the first one with a new design. Apple always do this by introducing the new design as a pro version for the current lineup and the gives that new look to all the new iphones.

after iOS 18 beta 1 on my iPhone 11 , I am getting 6 hrs avg screen on time with 90% of battery usage and 79% of battery health...tremendous increase in battery section. previously it was 4-5 hrs max. and also no heating issues. there are bugs here and there, specially app dock which stays there even in app library. but over performance is superb. Never seen sucha thing with any 1st beta in past 2-3 years.

O no there many, while apple only contributed 2 creative features and 1 calculation feature, everything else has been here and should be added to older iphones. They should've brought everything except the drawing clean up and genmoji to older iphone not named, which they probably could add as well, and we're already giving them a pass, but im sure most of it will end up on older models not named, these are early purchase tactics, the 13 and up should receive these updates in some time and maybe even the 12.

Who takes ai on a phone seriously? All I use my phone for is talking and texting, and that’s the point of a phone… makes sense for a computer or a laptop where you actually do productivity tasks or just work in general, you’re not going to get any use out of it on a phone aside from minuscule features like removing photobombs because it’s just not practical

A15 Bionic and A16 Bionic are both powerful smartphone SoC. I think the reason those older devices won’t get the Apple intelligence features is because of less ram on those devices. Or it’s because it will help iPhone 15 pro series and 16 series sell.

What it is NOT shocking at all, is seeing how iPhone users bully other iPhone users for expressing disappointment that Apple doesn’t allow other Pro models like 11 Pros onwards for example for the AI feature.
Instead, you get another iPhone experience and that’s other iPhone users AND even some TH-camrs defending and justifying an industry that doesn’t even belong to them. Well, Apple will NEVER change that greedy attitude and much less the behavior of their users bullying other iPhone users. Just a thought.

Older iPhones will still support Siri but the iPhone 15 Pro and up will only support the newer version of Siri with Apple Intelligence.

Hey, if I install the beta when the official version arrive i will can install with the beta version or just if i make a downgrade to the iOS 17 official?
If you download the beta iOS 18 on your iPhone to go back to iOS 17 you’ll half to plug into iTunes and reset your phone and hopefully you make a backup before going to the beta. So basically yes.

Only iPhones compatible with iOS 18 can run the beta but betas aren't limited to specific iPhones. I believe the 4 and up are all capable to running a beta version. The iPhone SE (second generation) and up can run iOS 18.
As long as you sign up for beta updates you get them on every device
It’s not always the latest devices that support betas. I’ve always had betas on the oldest supported devices with the iPhone 5s and iOS 11, iPhone 6s with iOS 15, iPhone 8 with iOS 16 and now iPhone XS Max (not my main) with iOS 18, just wanted to test it.
Eye tracking isnt on the iPhone XR (at least not on mine)
