I just wanna say I absolutely love your channel and I think this is a great combo. I love the metal zone , I think its the next pedal that will come into prominence like HM-2 did. Its just simply misunderstood!
Thank you so much for your comment, and thanks for visiting the channel. The truth is, it’s a pedal that’s always been quite controversial. But yes, I’ve had it for more than 20 years, and there’s always a moment to use it. For certain styles, it really works well. It might be a bit risky or unusual to mix it with the Matamp GT120, especially if you’re playing slow or doom styles. But like you said, there’s always a moment for the Metal Zone :)
I don't care what anyone says, I like the Metal Zone MT2. I'll use in front of the amp or in the FX loop. I also think its sounds better with my Orange Pro Crush 120 than my Peavy Special combo. I think the Orange warms the tone without sacrificing the dirt so it doesn't sound like a screeching mess.
I think it was cool. I would love to have seen it through the fx loop return also.. the pedal completely changes when it's ran through the loop... Cool video
Weirdly i got one of these for the Acid bath tone, which it obviously does (if you use Sammys duets settings)pretty close on an orange rocker terror 15. And ive been using it through my Minimat pro for jimmy bowers tone in eyehategod and it does a good job,the settings are kinda between overdrive and fuzz on the manuel, which is the first time ive seen it and now im probably going to mess up my previous settings😂,but i love it through the Minimat. Glad you did the demo dude,im not the only one at least🤣
It sounded pretty darn good.

@@Pedaltvchannel I think the metal zone set with flat EQ max volume and minimum to no gain is perfect for the matamp. CROWBAR STYLE.
