One of the greatest Sega classics ever. I'm still in awe at the fact that this and Castle of Illusion found their way onto the first Genesis mini, honestly.
I wouldn't consider this a longplay - you need to do three playthroughs to see everything. Mickey solo is the "easy mode", Donald solo is a bit harder, and then there's two-player. Each has their own exclusive levels and areas, so would love to see the other two playthroughs uploaded as well :)
This really needs a part two and part three. Donald has different levels and two-player mode also has different levels. I really wish more games had used that approach because it really rewards you for trying out different characters and even playing cooperatively.
This happens to be my first Disney Illusion game that I ever owned. This game has more areas to explore when played in 2 player mode. World of Illusion, and Castle of Illusion are also available on the SEGA Genesis mini system.
This game was incredibly visually impressive for its time. One of best games for Mega-Drive in my opinion. They manage to put 2 different stage layouts, one for Mickey and the other for Donald(which I consider to be more difficult). They also add co-op, which also differs from the single player as its more punishing(players share the same lives) and also has different stage layout. Pretty great game, one of gems of Mega-Drive alongside Mickey Mania. Surpass Mickey games on SNES by a great miles while are also more enjoyable to play.

I was reluctant to watch this one after the news about Disney wanting to buy Sega so that they could acquire Sonic The Hedgehog purely out of spite over the whole "My-Feces Box Office" thing which is just so infantile on the part of the company and its CEO Bob Iger. But since this was from a bygone era when Disney didn't give two hoots about Sega and just granted them licenses to produce video games using their characters and such....

Loved World, played so much with my cousins as a kid. Always thought it was better than Castle, but it seems sort of forgotten in comparison.
